Rosanna arranged transportation from Las Catalinas and was very patient with me in booking the activity. Rollo and Maurice were great surf instructors and we all had fun.

Ale has taken myself, my brother and my best friend to Witch’s and Ollies Point a few times over the years and every time was magical! The surf, the friends and the stories I still tell about those trips!! Life Changing!

Surfing lessons in Tamarindo were great! The waves weren't gigantically scary and the water was pretty calm. My sister and I decided to surf and our instructor was Tommy. He was very sweet and genuinely wants to get to his clients while he teaches you to surf. It was unfortunate our lesson got cut short because the lightning storms came. We still had a great experience regardless of the rain, also the rain wasn't too rough.

I booked last minute and they were super accommodating with a private lesson. Waves were perfect for beginners - would recommend!

First of all I'd like to apologize to Alejandro for not writing this review way sooner. Now realizing that I had never done so after we got back home, but I guess better late then never.. That being said I would like to thank him for a very professional, patient, knowledgeable and fun experience. From picking my wife and I up at our villa to taking his time to teach us basic fundamentals and safety on the beach and then getting in the water to surf. We had an awesome time and made many memories that day. Alejandro is a true teacher and this is something you can see he genuinely enjoys doing. We both agree our favorite part of the day were the couple party waves we caught together. I would not hesitate to recommend Alejandro and Seafari. Thanks to Alejandro's holistic approach to deliver the surf lesson I was able to understand the fundamentals of this sport, not only the technical aspects but also the surfing etiquette and safety points. He leverages his knowledge from other sports to make the session more comprehensive. It was super fun and a great learning experience!

My wife and I visited Costa Rica in January and surfing was at the top of my list of things to do while in Tamarindo. Seafaricr was recommended for lessons. Ale was very easy to contact on WhatsApp and responded very quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Alejandro and his lessons. He is very professional and he is very eager to share his knowledge about the ocean and swells. My wife watch one of my lessons and signed up for her own surfing experience. This was her first time and was nervous but she felt very comfortable and safe with Alejandro. Through my lessons I gained the confidence and knowledge of what to look for to go out on my own and had a blast! Our family (ages 20 through 60) had an amazing, fun day surfing with Alejandro and his instructors. They were very patient and knowledgeable to have us make small corrections that make a big difference. We all were standing on the board within a short amount of time and had a blast!!

Alejandro was warm, enthusiastic and professional. Learning to surf can sound intimidating, but each of the instructors our group had broke it down into easy, manageable steps. The waves in Tamarindo are friendly to beginners as well, so by the end of our family’s lesson, everyone was standing up throwing Chakas! 🤘

Alejandro and his three isntructors was absolutely awesome for a group of 9 of us (four adults and five kids). The beach in Tamarindo could not have been more perfect for a group of beginners. Everyone was crushing it by the end of the session. And afterwards, he sent us a ton of video and pictures that he shot- for free. How cool is that! Absolutely recommend this

I couldn't be more thrilled with the surf-lessons that my family received. My 10 and 12 year old girls were given phenomenal lessons...this was literally their first time ever surfing and at the end of the two hours, they were both riding waves all the way in while my 10 year old was doing jumping-switches on the board while riding a wave! Alejandro is a great surfing instructor from beginners to advanced. He is prompt, professional and knowledgeable of the conditions and area. He goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. In addition, he makes great recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores and other activities. We will definitely use him again on our next trip down.

Our teenage boys had two lessons with Alejandro. They had a fantastic time, made great progress and learnt a bit about Costa Rica. Would definitely recommend.

My friend and I visited Costa Rica from the U.S. for the first time and had never tried surfing before. Alejandro gave great instructions, was extremely personable and we were standing on the board for our first waves! We had a blast, and will definitely book lessons with him when we come back.

I had a great time learning to surf and I owe it all to Alejandro. I wouldn't have been able to get up as many times as I did without his help. I didn't have any experience surfing but he has patience for days and is passionate about what he does and within an hour I looked like I might know what I'm doing. If you're going to try to surf, you're going to waste a lot of time unless you spend some time with Alejandro first.
