We did the Miravalles Volcano tour with Walter. Walter was awesome! Great knowledge and was fun to be with for the day. The views were spectacular. Definitely recommend.

My 14 year old son and I did 4 tours & excursions with Tico Tours and each one was better then the next! David Bello was our guide for most of the tours and he was the BEST! He was knowledgeable, kind, patient and really cared about providing an incredible experience. I highly recommend these guys! Everything was amazing, even the Customer service. I can’t thank you guys enough for truly making our time in Costa Rica a memorable one!

We did bridges tour with Hansel & Night tour with Ronald. Both were great guides. Very informative. Comfortable ride on both trips. Definitely recommend Tico tours. Prior to tours they were very responsive to questions via WhatsApp. With these guys we saw snakes, spiders, monkeys, birds, coatimundi, sloths, & insects.

My wife and I went on the All-Day Nicaragua tour and it was amazing. Our tour guide Eduardo and driver Lolito were very helpful in every aspect of our trip. The active volcano and the volcano that was filled with water were amazing to see, the old towns and churches/cathedrals were a thing of beauty. The transfer into and out of the countries borders was an experience but once again Eduardo was there to make it easy. All and all I would do it again and recommend to others 😊

David was our tour guide today when my husband and I were taken to Vandara. We loved talking with David so much that we begged him to join us zip lining and lunching. He was so fun, kind, and knowledgeable. Also went out of his way to show us certain sights we hadn’t seen. Definitely recommend him for an adventure guide!

It is my pleasure to share an extremely well-deserved score of perfection… let me tell you why: Hansel and David. These two caballeros absolutos (absolute gentlemen) were our guide and driver. We toured the rainforest, suspended bridges, and sloth sanctuary - all at the end of rainy season. Here’s the thing - I could go on and dump details on the excursion itself (which was truly wonderful, and very rainy) but none of that matters. It is the people who make something like this truly memorable. My partner Nina and I consider ourselves so very lucky to have had two very kind, funny, and knowledgeable people show us around some of the pride of Costa Rica. Hansel was loaded with energy, quick with a joke, and went above-and-beyond when it came to his knowledge of flora and fauna. As it turns out, Hansel happens to be a legitimate Costa Rican ornithological LEGEND. David was training to be a guide on our trip, and with Hansel as his mentor we know he will be excellent. So as I end this review, again, it is the people who make something like this memorable. We will remember you by name, Hansel and David. There is only one other tour guide duo whom I have remember by name from nearly 12 years ago (Suhat and Zeki from Cappadocia Turkey), and you join them today. Tico Tours - do everything you can to take care of and keep Hansel and David. We will recommend this to everyone we know who will travel to Guanacaste/Carillo/North Pacific Costa Rica. J&N.

Definitely recommend the sloth and suspension bridge tour. We booked thru el mangrove and the guy who booked our reservations was awesome. The tour guides are great as well. Very accommodating and knowledgeable!

The ATV and snorkel tour was terrific! The ATVs were I. Great shape and allowed up to climb steep and bumpy roads without issue. The water was a bit murky but we saw stingrays, star fish, anemone and schools of fish. “Clifford” Jose was an amazing guide and took us to local places for fun along the way. Highly recommend!

We went to Rio, Celeste and Rincon de la Vieja. Both of our tours were top notch. I can’t imagine any one doing better!!!!!

I did 3 excursions: Rio Celete, the Hanging Bridges and Sloth Farm, and Miravalles (hanging bridges and mud baths). The tours were awesome! The guides and coordinator (Josue) were helpful and professional. Would absolutely go on tours with them again!

We had a wonderful day hiking, mud bath and hot springs and white water tubing. We also had a sunset catamaran and white water rafting. It was a a blast! Josh helped to get it all set up and was very timely in replying and made sure it all went well. I would highly recommend!

We had THE BEST time on the 4 hour buggy tour! Driving thru the water was so much fun. We enjoyed beautiful scenery, explored places you can’t see by car and learned about plants and animals in the area. We felt safe and confident with our guide. Carlos is a fantastic guide. He knew so much about the area and answered all of our questions. And made sure we had a GREAT time! We highly recommend this tour and plan to do it again the next time we return

We went to Diamanté Eco Park and we did the ATV tour . The ATV was wayyyyy better then I expected . I knew it was going to be fun , but it was a freaking blast ! The tour guide was fun , funny and knowledgeable and he knew the roads like the back of his hand . I can also say the same for Diamanté , the zip lining was absolutely amazing , the animals were super cool , the cultural tour is super fun . I was very happy with both of the excursions ! We also had amazing drivers , Marcos was super cool . And Chito is amazing , and we really loved getting to hang out with him . And the coolest dude of all was Joshua , he couldn’t have been easier or more helpful . Anytime I needed anything he was available and ready to help and give me advice . He really made everything super easy . I am so happy we went ahead booked with Tico Tours 🤙
