We did the Miravalles Volcano tour with Walter. Walter was awesome! Great knowledge and was fun to be with for the day. The views were spectacular. Definitely recommend.

We did bridges tour with Hansel & Night tour with Ronald. Both were great guides. Very informative. Comfortable ride on both trips. Definitely recommend Tico tours. Prior to tours they were very responsive to questions via WhatsApp. With these guys we saw snakes, spiders, monkeys, birds, coatimundi, sloths, & insects.

My wife and I went on the All-Day Nicaragua tour and it was amazing. Our tour guide Eduardo and driver Lolito were very helpful in every aspect of our trip. The active volcano and the volcano that was filled with water were amazing to see, the old towns and churches/cathedrals were a thing of beauty. The transfer into and out of the countries borders was an experience but once again Eduardo was there to make it easy. All and all I would do it again and recommend to others 😊

David was our tour guide today when my husband and I were taken to Vandara. We loved talking with David so much that we begged him to join us zip lining and lunching. He was so fun, kind, and knowledgeable. Also went out of his way to show us certain sights we hadn’t seen. Definitely recommend him for an adventure guide!

This is the company to book with for the best tours in Costa Rica! 5 months before arriving in Costa Rica I searched for a tour and heard about Josh and Tico Tours Guanacaste. I was able to book both airport pick up and return, a sloth and suspension bridge tour, and a 5 person side by side buggy tour all in advance, and the logistics were all planned easily. When we arrived from.our flight, David was outside waiting for our family of 5. We had a great commute to our resort at Panama Beach, Guanacaste. Took about 30 mins, with David telling us a lot of great info about Costa Rica. Pura Vida! The 5 of us then wetw picked up two days later for our side by side tour. We drove about 10 minutes to the main office where we started our ride on brand new Honda Pioneer Side by sides. David took us on an awesome ride through the country and town of Sardinal, where we stopped at a beautiful water falls. Our other tour to see sloths and suspension bridges in the rain forest was nothing short of spectacular! We saw several sloths in the trees, such an incredible experience to see this unique animals in their natural habitat! We also got to Tey our hand at milling sugar cane by hand at the farm! We had so much fun on our Buggy Tour with Carlos! We got to see so much of Guanacaste. We saw Howler Monkeys, Las Catalina’s, Waterfalls, and so much more. Carlos was very knowledgeable and great at explaining anything we asked about. We would highly recommend this tour!

It is my pleasure to share an extremely well-deserved score of perfection… let me tell you why: Hansel and David. These two caballeros absolutos (absolute gentlemen) were our guide and driver. We toured the rainforest, suspended bridges, and sloth sanctuary - all at the end of rainy season. Here’s the thing - I could go on and dump details on the excursion itself (which was truly wonderful, and very rainy) but none of that matters. It is the people who make something like this truly memorable. My partner Nina and I consider ourselves so very lucky to have had two very kind, funny, and knowledgeable people show us around some of the pride of Costa Rica. Hansel was loaded with energy, quick with a joke, and went above-and-beyond when it came to his knowledge of flora and fauna. As it turns out, Hansel happens to be a legitimate Costa Rican ornithological LEGEND. David was training to be a guide on our trip, and with Hansel as his mentor we know he will be excellent. So as I end this review, again, it is the people who make something like this memorable. We will remember you by name, Hansel and David. There is only one other tour guide duo whom I have remember by name from nearly 12 years ago (Suhat and Zeki from Cappadocia Turkey), and you join them today. Hansel and Fabian were such great tour guides! They were so knowledgeable about the area that we were exploring! They made the entire family feel so comfortable and safe while exploring the beautiful countryside! Definitely recommend the sloth and suspension bridge tour. We booked thru el mangrove and the guy who booked our reservations was awesome. The tour guides are great as well. Very accommodating and knowledgeable!

The ATV and snorkel tour was terrific! The ATVs were I. Great shape and allowed up to climb steep and bumpy roads without issue. The water was a bit murky but we saw stingrays, star fish, anemone and schools of fish. “Clifford” Jose was an amazing guide and took us to local places for fun along the way. Highly recommend!
