My husband and myself along with my son and nephew did this. Our driver ended up being our guide on this excursion that we booked through Amstar. We had a blast. My husband did get thrown out right off but we had a great time. Definitely have to listen to your guide and paddle. I would definitely do this again.

This was worth the visit. They guides are great, we had Daniel (The Terminator) if you get him expect something a little different on the river. When we finished we were given snacks and then had a great meal when we got back to base. Would highly recommend this experience if you visit Cost Rica.

We had an awesome trip. Great scenery and tons of fun. I would not hesitate to do it again. Daniel was our guide but all the guides I spoke with were friendly and took good care of us. Everything went off without a hitch. Pura Vida!

Great adventure! We had a wonderful guide who made the trip even better. He made everyone in the raft (3 of us) feel comfortable about the rafting experience. Can't recommend this highly enough!

It was the first white water rafting trip for 3 out of 4 of us. I was slightly terrified and trying to be brave. The staff made every single part of the trip easy and delightfully possible. Clear instructions were given and safety is a priority. You have to ask for Daniel the Terminator....he will make your trip so fun (and he is so good at what he does) you hardly have time to be worried. Highly recommend for families with teens....a great bonding experience. Also, the pictures are worth....we were charged $40 and they are priceless.

our guide was Oscar. he was very nice and made all of us feel comfortable. we flipped over 3 times but everyone wears life jackets and helmets and flipping is what makes it so much fun. Oscar was quick to help us get out of the water after flipping and again made us feel safe and comfortable. at the waterfall everyone was jumping into a water hole and I was scared and he held my hand to jump in with him which I thought was nice of him and helped me enjoy every part of the adventure. the last 12 foot drop is extreme but I guarantee that if you don't go for it , you will regret it. ENJOY!!
