Carlos was a great guide! Accommodating, friendly and fast behind the wheel. It was a packed adventure ride and would recommend the fun!

Carlos was our host and ride leader. We had a little mishap on the tour, (our issue) and he was a champ! He handled it like a true professional. He also shared many things about Costa Rica when we had the opportunity to talk.

Great afternoon on the ATVs for our family of four. Our two boys 16 and 19 had a great time. The guide was helpful and gave a good overview of how to handle the rigs, but then let us go and wasn’t overbearing or restrictive. We visited two beautiful beaches ran through some rivers and muddy roads and everyone had fun be prepared to get dirty! Andreas was so personable and took several pictures throughout our tour and pass them off to us at the end so we didn’t have to worry about trying to get photos. Would highly recommend. Our sons said it was the highlight of our week in Tamarindo🤩

This was such a great experience! Rainer was such a great guide, giving us options of when to go where and also added some other stops for us. The crater was such a cool place and the hot springs were great. Overall an amazing day. Thanks!

This was one of the best things we have done in Costa Rica so far. I wanted to give my 7 year old an experience on ATV. After searching through lot of companies and reading reviews of them I narrowed down on Pininos Adventures. Booked in the night for next day experience for 2 Adults and 1 kid. Got an email soon that they wanted to offer me a private tour at a later time. Glad I took it. Carlos was our guide. Right from when we reached the departure location he made us feel welcome and was very friendly. He explained how to use the ATV and we were on our way. Really loved going through the muddy, dirt roads to see the interior parts of the area. Me and my wife had a couple of places where our ATV got stuck. Carlos was an expert and patiently helped us. My son had a blast sitting in front. We made a stop at beach for 10-15 minutes. Never on the entire tour were we rushed or felt uncomfortable. Highly recommend this company if you looking to do ATV experience in the area.

I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do this, nor was my husband (who is afraid of heights) or my son (not much of a risk taker), but I think we all gained confidence just by seeing how prepared, organized and competent our guides were. They made sure all the equipment fit correctly and worked. We were a group of 4 joined by another group of 14. Before each of the 9 zip lines, the guide checked our gear and repeated all the reminders.. for every single one of us. While we didn't see any wildlife, the experience was fun and views were beautiful. Our fearless daughter had no problem whatsover and would have done each of the lines upside down if given the chance! (They only let her go wild on the last line.)

From start to finish 5* treatment. Because we went during slow rainy season, we had the tour basically to ourselves and VIP style. Private pickup, and all the amenities to ourselves. Started the day with horseback riding, then zip lining with spectacular views, then down a waterslide, and topped off with a mud bath and hot springs. Lunch was our favorite thus far with the local flavors. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the culture and history and all the staff were so accommodating and kind. Although we are tri-lingual, I was impressed with everyone’s English. 100% would recommend to all family and friends! Pura Vida!

We had a wonderful time zip lining! This was not your normal 'commercial" zip lining tour. This is a true above the jungle canopy, rustic Zipline! Fantastic and safe! The guides were phenomenal! Best ziplining experience that we have had! Thank you again! Pura Vida ✌️

I went on this tour with my husband and our 15 yo daughter and 12 yo son. My husband has driven ATVs before but I had not. When I made the reservation the form was a little confusing...I thought I had reserved a 10am time but the email confirmation I received said 8:00am. I emailed and they quickly replied and changed our time to 10am. When we arrived we had a quick overview of using the ATV and we were off--just our family on this tour. I appreciated that our guide went at a speed that felt safe to me. We loved the scenery of the small communities that we passed and the beaches that we went to. Our guide stopped to show us howler monkeys near the trail. He took photos and videos of us with his phone driving through creeks and shared them with me at the end of the trip. We had an awesome time and would definitely go with them again! The two hour trip was the perfect length for us.

Awesome experience - best zip lining I have experienced and the ATV’s were a blast. I recommend this excision whole heartedly.

Andres and the Pininos team were amazing! They made sure we had a memorable trip and made sure everyone was safe the whole time. I would recommend bringing along some cash as you may want a snack or drink at one of the stops. Amazing beaches with delightful views. Well done Pininos! Pura Vida!

My friend and I had a great time during this experience. She is 20 yo older than me and she was worried some of the activities might be too much for her but the staff was so caring and looking out for her in every way all the time she always felt secure, especially during the zip line experience. The only thing I would say is it would be nice to have lunch before the mud bath and hot springs so we could really enjoy and stay there did the maximum time to it and not feel hungry or worried about missing lunch hour. Also, for the water slide there are worn sections of the paint lining the chute and hurt quite a bit to go over, despite wearing the rubber diaper that doesn’t really stay in the right place to keep you covered by the time you get to the last section of the chute before landing you in the pool which was especially rough. Otherwise we enjoyed everything so much, the place is gorgeous, the staff are all very good with excellent service. I especially want to thank Mike for his care on the zip line, Herson was excellent and very knowledgeable about what he shared during the cultural experience. Carlos our driver was also very informative and caring and we appreciate everyone who contributed to it, thankyou.

This is a once in a lifetime experience. Celebrating our boys birthdays and this was on their list of wants. Our guides jason and Joseph were very knowledgeable, safe and entertaining. We felt very safe with us being beginners. I will highly recommend and will love to come back.

So much fun! We were a group of 20. Exactly what we had hoped for. Even in the rain! Wish we had better weather so we could enjoy the beaches but it was still such a blast! The guides were fun and kept it exciting for the teens and let them have fun (so much fun!!) while keeping an eye on me who didn’t have experience. They helped me gain confidence and by the end I could keep up with the boys! One of the favorite excursions of our whole group!
