We were picked up at exactly 5 AM and spent the next six hours travelling around seeing amazing birds as the sun came up over Guanacaste. We saw 42 species of birds and were given interesting facts about the different areas, the trees, the animals, and various conservation efforts. Stevenson was knowledgable, patient, and encouraging and Luis was an excellent driver. The breakfast at the end was delicious. Highly recommend; we would come back and do another tour with them next time we’re here. Gracias!

Do not use this company for ziplining, tubing, rafting or anything with risk of injury. I got injured in a defective whitewater kayak and also noticed their ziplining equipment was worn with some semi defective carabiners. Also, ziplines are old school with the only braking being your hand with a glove. Worst part was after the injury, they didn’t have first aid stuff on hand or properly trained staff to treat it. A lot of tour companies use this place so ASK! There are better options! I’ll never go back here! Thank god the tour organizer arranged care for me.

Gabriel is very professional and informative. We enjoyed our tour and felt safe the whole time. 100% recommend the tour.

Rio Celeste out of La Fortuna, couldn’t find a tour with this name. I figure this is close enough. Our guide was Diego and out Driver Pedro. Both were amazing looking along the way for things for us to stop and look at. Along the trail we were able to spot several creatures and Diego was kind enough to help us get photos along the way. On our way back from the tour we stopped to see our first toucans and white faced monkeys. Diego got in the back seat and took photos from the car window due to the rain. They really did go above and beyond. Lunch was at an amazing restaurant, food and service was great. Overall would recommend. Will book through JNT again in the further. Hopefully Diego and Pedro will still be there.

An amazing experience! Gabriel and the driver ( we forgot his name, forgive us) showed us great hospitality! Gabriel was very knowledgeable and patient with us! We were able to visit six different waterfalls and had lunch at an amazing buffet.

What an adventure! We had such a great time. The driver Percy was very personable. The tour guide Gabriel was amazing. He was kind, knowledgeable and he graciously helped with requests we made, like stopping on the side of the road for fresh lychee and soursop. Both Percy and Gabriel protected our belongings like they were their own. Lunch was magnificent. The food was hot and fresh! The waterslide was a bit scary but super fun. The horseback riding was okay. Zip lining was amazing. We purchased the photo pack of our adventures, but we did not receive every photo. Specifically, the one of me and my husband on the romantic zip line where we were hooked together on one line was missing. I hope someone contacts us and sends our photo. Other than that, we loved every bit of this day tour!!!

We had the most fabulous day with Gabriel and Bernardo. We learned so much and got to experience the animals, people, arts, and food of this beautiful country. Thank you Gabriel for the wonderful tour and the caldosas! Bernardo thank you for the wonderfully comfortable drive.

Had a spectacular experience with Roderick and learned so much about the Rincon de la Vieja volcanos and the surrounding rainforests. My wife and I adored the volcano mud wrap and the numerous hot springs. The fact that the trip included a free cocktail at the hot springs was such a nice touch. The zip lining was a lot of fun as well racing back and forth above the canopies of the rainforest. We opted to not do the water slide and instead opted for the hanging bridges above the rainforest canopy. We were able to hike through the rainforest and see large troop of spider monkeys swinging around doing monkey stuff. The horses were friendly though some of the hills were quite steep and muddy, but it was a lot of fun. My wife also really liked the cultural exhibits. Lunch was cafeteria style with really fabulous food. Their pulled pork was nicer than the fried meat, but everything was tasty. We left happy, tired, and very full. The couples that went with us did the water slide and said it was quite incredible.

We booked our excursion with BlueSkyPrivateTours! Carlos was amazing to set up this adventure and make it so memorable. We have a family of six children with our youngest only 8 years old. We have been white water rafting before but this was incredible. Yeiner and WJ (Jr) were our guides. They knew the river well and helped us to have a safe and exhilarating memory.

The most wonderful vacation experience with beautiful waterfalls, volcanic mud bath, and relaxing natural hot springs. Our tour guide, Gabriel was so kind, personable, and humorous.

It was so exciting and so much fun! They Maurice, Michael, Tony and Adonay were very accommodating and professional! They gave us information, history and taught us the great Costa Rican philosophy Pura Vida which I will adopt into my life!

We used Jacamar Tours through our travel agency My Costa Rica. They were wonderful! Vans were clean and nice and they provided water. They were very punctual and excited to guide us. Our drivers, Jaime & Percy did a great job of getting us around in a safe and comfortable manner. Our tour guide, Stevenson, was really wonderful. His passion for the land, animals and biodiversity of Costa Rica was infectious! His knowledge of the plants, animals, birds & insects was impressive! We had such a great experience we even requested him for our second tour! We did the Rincon de la vieja National Park hike & Liberia City tour and the Rio Celeste & Finca Verde tour - they were both amazing!! Thank you so much for making our trip so memorable and fun!!

Eddie was great! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the roads. The breakfast and lunch were comparable to a 4 star restaurant! Our tour was a lot of driving for Eddie but he had a great attitude and we enjoyed our day very much!! Highly recommend this company!! PuraVida!

I have to say that I have done many tours and this was by far the most impressive. I took my mom to Costa Rica for a vacation and booked the Ricon do la Vieja hike and hot springs full day tour as something that would be accessible for her and still adventurous. While the trip itself was amazing, our tour guide Stevenson made all the difference - he was exceptional. He was the most passionate, knowledgeable and attentive tour guide I have ever met. He taught us so much about the local flora and fauna, was able to point out rare bird and lizard species that we were lucky enough to encounter, and was so thoughtful to capture photos and videos for us to take home. A tremendous thank you for a day we will never forget :)
