I’m sure that 5 stars fall short for this company! We used both services, transfers and excursions, they were very punctual, their vehicles were comfortable, clean and with all the required permits! We booked the Sloth Encounter and their Cacao and coffee tour was very interesting and informative. Norberto was an excellent guide, and Isis helped us a lot in our booking process. We will definitely be back soon for more excursions with these guys!

We booked the mega combo tour and the rainforest/sloth experience. These two tours were amazing. Our tour guide, Michael was very knowledgeable and accommodating of our needs. Michael was also great with taking photos and capturing the animals in motions. We got some awesome photos of sloths, frogs and birds. I highly recommend these tours.

Issys Tours offered a very professional and personal experience for my husband and I. We will definitely use them again when we visit Costa Rica.

We use this service to make different tours programmed, these guys are very helpful, they explained each of the places where we were. We did Scenic hiking and Tenorio Rafting, without a doubt it was a perfect combination of nature and adrenaline. Both places were incredible, very good service and the Costa Rican food is simply delicious. Our guides Mike and Esteban were great, very attentive, and very informed about everything we asked them. We had a very pleasant experience with this company, they are an excellent team.

I booked Issys Tour for roundtrip airport transport and they asked to pay cash. I was skeptical at first but had a great experience. Esteban picked us up at the Liberia Airport with a sign to include family's name. he stopped at a Mango tree and even got one for us. He was very nice and informative. Issys Tour also offers several tours which we didn't book but will next time.

Our experience with Issys Tours, was amazing! Issys Tour company gave us a 10/10 service, they were very professional all the time and they should be proud of their work. We really enjoyed seeing the sloths, the rare frogs, the waterfall, and the tour of the coffee and cocoa farm. The tour guide was very informative about everything and answered all our queries. We also used them for our airport transfer and professional and fair rates, we stayed at Westin Conchal. We highly recommend Issys Tours to be your tour guides, they are great..

Overall, this trip ended up being one of the highlights of our visit to Costa Rica so I will start with the positives. The tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area and the wildlife, and were excellent at spotting sloths, toucans, turkeys, snakes, frogs, etc. We saw a lot we would never have been able to see on our own. On the way back we stopped for an absolutely delicious included meal. The waterfall was beautiful and refreshing to take a dip in for some relief from the heat. A couple things I wish I would have known before booking this trip- I specifically asked several times how long the drive was from our hotel because I did not want to have a long drive. I also confirmed the length of the drive the day before via email and was told it was a maximum of 90 minutes. When we got into the van the driver told us it was at least 2.5 hours each way, which was a big bummer to learn at the last minute. What made this even worse is the drive was terrifying. I won't mention the driver's name but I have never been so frightened in a vehicle in my life. We had only lap belts in a van where the driver consistently passed other cars unsafely, texted and made phone calls and checked his phone while driving constantly, drove way over the speed limit on the freeway, stopped in the middle of busy roads on blind curves and drove on the wrong side of the road multiple times. I had to ask him to stay in his lane several times, and was mostly ignored. If you are a nervous passenger or simply care about your safety, I'd think twice before booking this trip. The drive really put a damper on the whole experience.

Issys Tours is Top Notch. My wife and I booked a full day trip, we had Captain Eduardo and Erron, these two were great. Showed up on time, had sandwiches and cervezas for the full day trip booking. Also some fresh fruit later in the day - nice surprise. Beautiful day in the gulf out past Monkey Head Rock. We saw Tortugas and Dolphins while riding out to the trolling area. Wasn't long before I had a Blue Marlin on, but lost him after a brief fight. I wasn't too disappointed as billfish are catch and release, and our goal was dinner. A short time later we had two fish on. I lost a small Bonita, but the wife landed a huge Yellowfin Tuna. That Tuna almost got the best of her, but with Erron helping steady the rod she was able to get it to the boat. Eduardo and Erron then got that beast aboard. MOST EXCELLENT. Erron made short work fileting that fish, and we tried some fresh sashimi on the boat. We took a portion back to the resort, and fed off that fish all week. Tuna Steaks, Tuna Tartare, Tuna Sashimi. We stopped at some structure on the way back and the boys put us onto the Red Snapper - just what we wanted. Caught a mess of Red Snapper for dinners / fish tacos. A Great trip and will do it again. First time traveling to CR, Iysis Tours provided an incredible, action-packed experience! Would definitely recommend to anyone. By far the coolest trip I’ve ever taken. Thanks for the wonderful experience

This tour was an absolute joke. Was not worth $170 at all. Maybe $75. The tour guide was knowledgeable but we were not told about the length of the drive (3 HOURs!). The crater was a joke. Very lame and the tour photos are very deceiving!!! Not happy with the entire experience for our group of 9!

Our professional and knowledgeable guide, Miguel, arrived at 7 AM for the 3 hour drive to La Fortuna. We first stopped at the hot springs which was very relaxing. After a delicious lunch we went to the suspension bridges. This was tiring but well worth it. On the back we stopped at a waterfall but it closed a few minutes prior. That was fine as my son and I were tired. Instead on the way back to the hotel we stopped on Coco beach, walked around and got some souvenirs. We got back to our hotel at 6 pm. It was a great day. You will not go wrong with this tour company. Can not recommend them highly enough.

I don’t normally write reviews, but I really have to do this!!! I just returned from a fabulous week in Costa Rica. Stayed at the W Hotel Reservation Conchal. Hired Issys Tours to pick me up from the airport to the hour drive to Guanacaste. The driver, Adolfo, was excellent. My sister and I were a bit hungry and he was nice enough to stop at a fruit stand for us to buy fresh fruit. We weren’t interested in tours but he convinced us to do one tour to Palo Verde. Michael was our driver to Palo Verde and was so knowledgeable of historical information, when he dropped us off at the hotel, we booked another tour. Michael was absolutely phenomenal. Best experience ever. We had last minute flight changes as we decided to take a flight to Panama at 5:00 am. I contacted Esteban who arranged to have a driver arrive promptly to the hotel at 3:00 am. I highly recommend Issys tours. I will be returning to Costa Rica in June 2023 and will be making all my transportation arrangements with Issys Tours. They are flexible, professional, knowledgeable and have excellent work ethics.

Thanks to Esteban, Issys Tours was able to book us on a few last minute excursions to visit the sloth sanctuary at Bijagua Rana with our wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Manuel, where we had many sloth encounters as well as other wild animals. This was a major highlight of our visit thanks to Issys Tours. Following our awesome visit to the sloth sanctuary, Esteban added a special visit for my family to the Café&Cacao Tour, where we learned about coffee and chocolate. Next, we headed to El Sabor De Doña Carmen for a delicious and authentic Costa Rican lunch and visited their majestic butterfly sanctuary. To top off our wonderful and perfect day, Esteban offered my family a private sunset boat tour with Captain Eduard and Carlos, who safely brought us to visit the mangroves and swim at the beautiful Playa Nacascolo. Again, my family and I are so grateful for taking care of us and treating us like your family!!!

Traveling with a Group of 6 can be challenging but not for the Issues Tour Group. This tour required a long drive with a very early departure from our hotel. Our guide Mike made it fun and interesting pointing the special feature of Costa Rica as we drove. The vehicle was comfortable, clean and had more than enough room for our group. Plus our guide gave us full instructions on the must haves as we prepared for our trip. We made a stop for breakfast and it was delicious. Our weather was not the best but our guide didn't let that stop him from making it the best possible for us. The rain forest was amazing in the off and on morning rain was we were prepared with all the correct gear. The hot springs was refreshing and eased the pains in our sore joints and muscles from the rain forest hike. The volcano was buried in clouds all day but that didn't detract from a great day had by all in our group. We finished with a wonderful meal that was absolutely amazing. The flavors in the foods and drinks were simply amazing!!!!

Michael did a fantastic job at giving us the tour of the waterfall and the sloth encounter. His knowledge of where to find sloths, monkeys, frogs and many other animals made our tour nothing short of memorable. We even got to see a sloth on the ground. We recommend him and Issy’s tours for your Costa Rica experience!
