Baldi hot springs is a beautiful place to enjoy the hot springs of La Futuna. Great for family and couples. Has a kid zone with many water slides. Would recommend to get the lunch or dinner package. We bought both lunch and dinner, but menu is the same and buffet style. To enter for the meals, you and your family have to be dry, without bathing suites (ladies) so recommend a cover up.
What is failed to be mentioned on this site is that children (5 and under) don’t pay a fee to use the hot springs. We bought a pass for my son who is under 5 and was told at the front desk that he was “free” with a paid adult.
Overall communication with he vendor and place is a 5/5 stars. Would highly recommend.

We went on my wife’s birthday, what a relaxing, pampered day! We had gone on a strenuous hike the day before, so soaking in the various pools was perfect. The pools get warmer as you ascend, so you can find a perfect temperature pool for your taste or time of day. There were some crazy slides at one pool if you wanted to add a little excitement, beware, they are steeper than they look! A very nice buffet lunch at one of the restaurants was included, which made a nice break before we went and soaked some more. The hot springs are an important part of Arenal, and if you want a relaxing day we recommend this to unwind.

Such an amazing experience! We did the day pass without dinner and ordered food at the bar instead. The hot springs were beautiful and soothing, the water slides were a blast!! We enjoyed watching people come down the water slides, they were certainly rough but such a fun time. A little overpriced, but ultimately worth it.

We were really looking forward to this event, but unfortunately we had a very bad experience. The space was overly crowded, probably because it was a holiday. The food was pretty inedible. One of the water slides closed by 7pm which was one of the main reasons we went to Baldi because we were traveling with a teenager. And to top off the night, we were swimming in one of the terminales that has a swim up bar and came across a turd (caca) floating in the water. Disgusting! We got out of there immediately and I reported our nasty finding to one of the bartenders but who knows what happened after that. There were dozens of people getting in. We left 2 hours earlier than we intended. What a waste of an evening.

There are many thermal hot springs in the La Fortuna area. Baldi is the largest and advertises as the largest in the world. Its only several miles from downtown La Fortuna. We got there early and the place was nearly empty. It is huge and wonderful. Very clean, great selection of pools for whatever people you are with. We loved it, even when it rained. Lunch was buffet and was excellent! Many choices. I'm vegan and had lots of choices. The setting is absolutely terrific. High up with a beautiful view of trees all around. We want to go back!

We did the springs at night and it was fine. A good way to see the hot springs but don’t expect anything more. The food was just ok. We had 3 kids with us and learned that the kids slides all closed at 8 which was a shame. The kids got to ride them once before they shut down.

Gorgeous facilities and an excellent buffet lunch. This was an incredibly relaxing and refreshing day. Baldi has a wide variety of pools and hot springs so there was plenty of room for guests to spread out and enjoy a peaceful day.

Baldi Resort is beautiful as you enter. Rooms are very dated. Hot springs are awesome and spacious. Gloria in the restaurant was very helpful. Food is average.
One of my friends got sick.
The location close to the volcano is awesome.
The shower heads needs to be changed.

Excellent hot spring. Did the day pass no food and it was gorgeous. Relaxed in every pool and did yhe waterslides. Manicured exceptionally well and very clean and safe everywhere.varying temperature pool to pool and easy walking between them. A huge resort with many options and not a ton of people so it was very relaxing! Pura vida!

Go first thing in the am, as buses full of folks coming can be a bit much. There are roughly 20 pools of different temp. some super hot, they also have a cave type sauna, which was good, and 1 pool with jets, nice! Lots of waterfalls, 4 big water slides and an area for kids. I found my day there a bit cheesy but if you have kids or elderly everyone can find something they will like. $50. US for a buffet meal and entrance plus transportation from Fortuna. Food was not worth mentioning quality wise but typical tico stuff. Drinks super expensive $10. , lockers and towels extra of course!

I think the day pass is good until 10pm. There is a hotel on site and many nearby. I found 4 hours there plenty.
