He worked so hard to locate and show us the amazing animals around the Arenal volcano, in the Mystical Hanging Bridges, and hot springs! Our tour guide, Wesler, was very knowledgeable and persistent about finding the animals which we wouldn’t have seen without him. Very good experience and highly suggest checking it out. Raul was our guild and he made our trip one to remember!! He treated us like his family and was extremely knowledgeable about La Fortuna and the culture there. You could tell he loved his job and enjoyed what he was doing. It was a fun experience and I would do it again every day if I could! I would 100% recommend going to this above any other tour (even though there’s A LOT to do in La Fortuna) it’s the best experience, you’ll learn a lot and see things that you can ONLY see on this tour!! 10 out of 10!!

I had a great time during the tour. It was a well rounded trip with a bit of everything. A rewarding hike to the top to amazing views of the Arenal Volcano, abundant flora fauna along the way and a hearty meal prepared by the locals. For those who felt adventurous you could swing like Tarzan into the River and in the end everyone gets to relax in the natural spa of thermal springs while being pampered with face masks and shots! Special shout out to Raul, who along with his team made the whole experience lively and fun and made us feel like one big happy family on a fun day out.

Thoroughly pleased with our Morning Volcano Hike with Jungle Tours. Raul was our guide, and he was amazing! We started with pick up which was prompt, and the bus was comfortable! Everyone was masked, the windows were open, and we were given sanitizer before entering. Then we headed to the hike! Raul pointed out wildlife and plants and taught us so much about the history of the town, volcanoes, and area. He did not go too fast or too slow. We had multiple activity level types on our tour from very fit/active couples to kids (11/12.) The view/photo ops from the top are amazing! We asked so many questions, and Raul was so knowledgeable! Next we headed down. We had a swim in the lake and a delicious, typical lunch. Where we had lunch there were bathrooms we could change into; however, all of us had come already dressed in swim wear under our clothing. Then, off to the hot springs! We forgot our water shoes, but I would definitely recommend them for the rocky water bottom. You use the same transport for the whole tour, so you can leave a bag in it during the hike. Bring your own water for the hike part. The hot springs were so warm! There was a super friendly coati trying to get into bags, so zip tight! We were provided with a mud mask and an ample amount of time at the hot springs. 10/10 recommend this tour operator, this tour, and Raul as a guide!

This hike was an amazing experience in Arenal! Our guides Raul and Sergio were so friendly and knew so much about the area. We started off with the hike to the volcano with Raul who was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals in the area and so fun as well. After the hike we cooled off with a swim in the lake next to the volcano (I highly suggest jumping in using the rope swing). Lunch was amazing, it was made by a family in Arenal so you can support the locals while also eating a delicious meal. After lunch we headed to the thermal river with Sergio who treated us to volcanic mud masks and chupitos! I went with my family (my parents and my two sisters) and there was something for everyone. We could not have asked for a better day. Definitely book your tours through this company, you will not be disappointed!

Talk about an entertaining and fun-filled tour! Raul the tour guide was as knowledgeable as he was fun to be around. His energy was absolutely infectious and was very obvious how much he loves his city and its history. We had a relaxing hot spring and face mud treatment after a great hike to the viewpoint of the Arenal Volcano. New friends made, and lots of memories to hold on to!

It was such a great experience!! Even though it was a little cloudy, we had the best day ever. Big thank you to the best guides, especially Raul, so kind and friendly and he made all of us feel like a big family. I would recommend everyone to do the #2 tour which included a trip to some amazing waterfalls, hike to the volcano (if you’re lucky you’ll also see it), lunch, tarzan swing in the lake of the tropical rainforest, and finally the natural spa - hot springs. Just wow!

We are so pleased we booked this half day tour. The shuttle arrived on time to pick us up from our accommodation and there was a short stop at a shop in La Fortuna to pick up refreshments for the hike. We then drove 15-20min to the national park and start of the hike. Our guide was Sebastian who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife in the forest and he made lots of stops along the trail to show us things of interest. The trail is quite steep in places and the final stages are up volcanic rock so good strong shoes is advised, though lots of our group were wearing trainers. The views of the volcano where amazing. We stopped for a while to refresh before descending down to the start where the more adventurous group members had a go on the Tarzan swing. Lunch was delicious- grilled chicken rice and salad. There are bathrooms and changing facilities.
We then drove 10min or so to the hot springs. Water shoes/trainers are essential as the river bed rocks are sharp!
After about an hour in the hot springs we drove back to la fortuna to be dropped off.
Thoroughly enjoyable day.

A good tour with knowlagebke and fun guides. We can recommend this tour when you are in LA Fortuna and want to do a hike combined with beautifull views of the vulcano, fun at the Tarzan swing, a good and healthy lunch and fun at the local hot springs. Small groups.

Had a great time! The hike was very beautiful and especially the Tarzan swing at the end of the hike was really fun. Raúl, the guid explained us a lot about the rainforest and with his positive energy, made sure everyone was having fun and feeling good. The driver Don Pedro was super nice and very patient when I tried practicing my Spanish with him.
