My slight downgrading of this to only 4 "stars" is due to the fact that I personally expected a longer experience than just about an hour from start to end. I've seen advertisements of up to 16 zipline segments; in our case, it was eight lines plus a Tarzan swing. A fun ride, safe, friendly. You can have pictures and videos for $40 - the link to download was delivered to my inbox within a day.

My husband and I had the BEST time! We were so nervous about zip lining because we had never been... when we got there, Ronaldo started strapping me in, and he made me feel immediately at ease. The guys were funny, so knowledgeable, and they made us feel safe the entire time. The zip lining itself was incredible!! We ended up doing a tarzan jump as well and it was exhilarating. There's also an option to get photos and videos from the experience which we recommend because the photographer was great. We are so, so happy we did this and can't wait to come back and do it again.

My husband and I were on a belated honeymoon in Costa Rica July-August 2021. Our 8AM zip line tour/ Tarzan swing with Arenal Canopy Adventure was a blast. I know there's a chance you'll be in a group with strangers, but we were lucky as it was just us and 3 staff (1 was our photographer). All 3 of the staff members made us feel so safe and they helped us have a great time while experiencing the beautiful and unique nature of the rainforest. They helped us see various wildlife such as howler monkeys, butterflies, birds, and snakes (from afar luckily).
We were both pretty adamant about not doing the Tarzan swing, but our guides were so fun/ funny. One of them convinced us as we stood at the bottom. We actually have a professional video of me doing it and one of the guides yelling "no, no no!" as I released. I couldn't stop laughing at my reaction and it was not scary at all! I'm so glad he convinced us to do it.
This was an excellent way to experience the rainforest and we definitely recommend!

Adrian picked us up with upmost professionalism and hospitality. He answered every question we had about culture, local information, personal recommendations and did it with humility and kindness. He lead our zip-line adventure with 18 other people with the skill and humor of someone who cares and loves what he does. The company photographers take excellent photos for you to purchase. The company places high value on your security and safety. We loved every minute.

My family did the canopy tour on 3/4/2020. Our family consists of my husband and I (mid-30s) and a 7 year old and 9 year old. We were picked up at our hotel (even though we had a rental car) and then picked up a couple other folks at another hotel before heading to the zip line. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The tour was well done and lasted about 90 minutes. The Tarzan swing is the 3rd to last activity and you can opt out of doing it. This was a great value activity with very friendly staff. We were returned to our hotel promptly at the end of the canopy tour.

This place was AMAZING. My husband, myself and 17, 16, 14, 14, and 12 all ziplined. The lines were high and long and exciting. Our guides Andre and Juan were friendly, informative, patient , and overall nice guys that took great care in making sure we were safe. We liked this place too because it was less commercial. We were the only ones in our group. We've ziplined in Mexico and DR but they were nothing close to here! It was a wonderful experience, worth the $55 and yes- another $10 for the Tarzan swing!!! Do it!

Absolutely spectacular! It was just me and a couple on their honeymoon. Our two guides (Julian was one and I don’t remember the one man’s name, sorry!) were wonderful. They were kind, helpful, fun, and made sure we were always safe. There are 8 lines of varying length and speed, but all of them are amazing. It rained as we were going, and there is just nothing like zipping over the rain forest as the rain drenches you! Even when I got a little turned around on the line, the guides were great to me and helped me out. It was truly glorious!

This was our first tour while visiting La Fortuna, Costa Rica and it set the bar high! Joel was an amazing guide; he was funny and laid back! The best part was doing the Tarzan swing! I highly recommend going on this adventure. You won't be disappointed!

Neither my wife nor I had zip lined before this. What a great first experience! Marvin picked us up at the La Fortuna pick up point and drove us and another group to the park, about a half-hour ride. Adrian and Maoul (sorry if it's misspelled, Maoul!) were the perfect guides. After we stored our extra stuff in a free locker, they went over the rudiments of hanging, starting and stopping. Then they both accompanied us on the zip lines, one leading, one following. The most strenuous for me was the climb to the first tower. After that, nothing bur exciting! My wife thoroughly enjoyed her two tries on the tarzan swing (hers and mine)! Highly recommended!!!

First time ziplining, and it was so much fun!
Marvin and Yulian were helpful and cheerful in assisting us getting into the equipment and guiding us to all of the platforms, and showing us how to do soar through the air. Was scared at first, but then got used to it and it was so exhilarating!
Got to see some birds in the trees on some of the platforms.
Also got to try a Tarzan swing!

I'm looking to come at Christmas with a group and we want to zipline. Does the Canopy Zipline have multiple ziplines? We were also looking at one near the Sky Tram (not sure if this at the same place). Any help is appreciated.
