Our guide was more than amazing, made us feel safe. We were lucky enough to be the only ones that booked that morning so we essentially got a private tour, I honestly wish I did this part a second time around with my husband before we left, we truly enjoyed every aspect! They are all about PURA VIDA VIBES! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making it truly memorable.

This was an adrenaline filled day for all of us! My young kids loved galloping the horses along the scenic path to the Arenal volcano. Our guide was knowledgeable and a great horse handler. Some paths were a little rough and difficult so I’d recommend this experience for an intermediate rider or request an easy path before beginning your trek. The zip lining was also very scenic! We were done in less than an hour with the zip lines. The kids loved both experiences equally. Highly recommend for active kids!

My son and i did the White Water Rafting tour with Carlos, Brian and Jeffrey and the Safari Float/Waterfall/lunch with Andres. Both were amazing experiences! All of the guides were kind, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Both trips were worth every penny and I'd highly recommend.

We hiked the Arenal 1968 trail and the La Fortuna Waterfall with our guide, Jason. He was amazing and knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of the area and the volcano. He also gave us a lot of information about the plants and the animals in the area. Jason took care to make sure we were safe and hydrated. He also was very patient on our 500+ stair climb from the bottom of the waterfall. Then we went to the farm for a delicious local lunch. The dragonfruit pineapple juice was a-mazing! Great experience! Felix was our driver. We had Jason & Diego as tour guides for the hanging bridges. They were very knowledgeable and could spot wildlife easily that I would not have noticed. Jason even spotted a baby viper on a small leaf coiled up about the size of a quarter! This was my first time zip lining and they made me feel very comfortable. The three helpers for zip line had a great sense of humor as well.

My husband and I took a kayak tour on Lake Arenal with Cesar. We chose the afternoon tour and ended up having it to ourselves. This allowed us to paddle at our own pace and get to know Cesar, who was a wonderfully knowledgeable and relaxed guide. We had great views of the volcano and a pleasant day out on the lake. We’d highly recommend this tour for a peaceful afternoon outside.

We stayed at 5 locations in Costa Rica and we booked Jacamar to move us from place to place. Their vehicles are modern and comfortable. Our drivers always showed up 10-15 minutes early which was perfect and we learned we could count on them for timely transportation. Their drives were great. They were careful drivers and very accommodating and pleasant to be with . I would definitely use them again

We did the hanging bridge tour with Cesar. He was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna, friendly, and professional. Pace on the trail was fun - doable for anyone in decent shape. Got to see a number of howler and spider moneys, along with snakes and fantastic array of birds. Transport vans were new and clean. Driver was always safe.

A bit of a factory...little concern for guests. We were supposed to do horseback riding after the zipline and could have made it before the rain. Instead we did horseback riding first with a guide that brushed off all concerns...didn't gage the horseback to the rider, (and his looked like it had a lame leg), didn't consider which horses got along or liked to lead or follow, didn't help guests with concerns (like an elderly lady with a rubbing stirrup ring). The horses have no bits (so don't respond as well) and one had a strange gait. In short, a very unprofessional horse operation. By the time we got back for ziplining we were soaked (and would've had to go in the rain), so we passed. My advice is book horses separately from a real horse operation, and do the bigger separate zipline with the company with safety measures. A lot of people resell this Jacamar tour but I wouldn't recommend it.

We did the volcano hike & waterfall experience tour. Our guide Gustavo was so knowledgeable & friendly! He never rushed us & made the experience so great! We also did the sloth experience at mariolas trail with Kevin. Kevin was also excellent. He made sure we got to see the sloths & other animals & helped us get photos through the scope! After each tour we went to the company farm & enjoyed traditional Costa Rican food which was delicious! Would recommend to all!

It was wonderful having a naturalist as a tour guide. This was above and beyond tours we'd done with other companies. While the others were lovely, having someone as knowledgeable as our guide Helen and driver (usually guide) Ron. They spotted a very rare siting of a Bat Falcon within 5 minutes of leaving our hotel. They were so excited about all of the flora and fauna and history of the area that it left me wanting to learn even more about Costa Rica. We had a very easy walk at the Arenal Peninusal section of the park. It was peaceful and lovey. We say Tucans and leaf cutter ants and an Ant Eater. After the walk we took a boat ride on Lake Arenal where we saw more beautiful birds and cayman. Do this tour, a more quiet way to see Arenal.

We went on the Zip line and hanging bridges tour and had a wonderful experience. Jose our driver and guide was incredible. Unfortunately we did not see much wildlife, but his knowledge of the rainforest was spectacular. He gave us so much information about the trees plants, bird, the Arenal Volcano, and Costa Rica that it made the experience. We cannot thank Jose enough for this amazing opportunity to go on this hike with him. Thank you Jose!!

Our first visits to Costa Rica was amazing. The staff at Jacamar made our experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Erica, Alberto transported us to different sides of country. They were knowledge and we felt very safe on the windy roads of Costa Rica. Marco & Jorge, our tour guides on the Arenal 1968 tour were so knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.
