About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 314codyp0 contributionsGreat day of guided hiking! Our day was so much fun and so perfect! Clear skies for both hikes, and the waterfall was amazing (besides the 515 stairs to get there). Mario was the BEST guide and so knowledgeable about every aspect of our tour. Will definitely come back next time we're in Costa RicaWritten September 14, 2024
- Coastal319446715220 contributionsA wonderful day!My daughter and I had a wonderful day, spending it with Mario, who is a true gem. He has a wealth of knowledge of the flora and fauna of Costa Rica, and worked very hard to make sure that we saw as much as possible. The hanging bridges were magnificent, the 600 steps at the waterfall were challenging, the lunch was authentic and delicious, and the volcano hike, although cut short by lightning, was glorious in its own, right. We appreciated his willingness to answer our questions about Costa Rican history, society, education, etc. We highly recommend this tourWritten September 10, 2024
- staceyl2710 contributionsExcellent! My tour guide, Mario was amazing! Had vast amounts of knowledge about Costa Rica and gave many suggestions about where to go next. Recommended great coffee places. Tour consisted of a big lunch, La fortuna waterfall, area volcano hike and hanging bridge hike with tons of biodiversity, transportation included with pickup from stay (if you are staying in La fortuna city). Mario is a local at La fortuna and nothing can beat that!Written September 3, 2024
- TravelW1se0 contributionsReasonable price with customized itineraryI was initially skeptical about booking private transportation in Costa Rica due to negative YouTube reviews, but 7 Tours Private Shuttle exceeded my expectations. They offered the most affordable rates, and their punctuality was spot on. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Mario, who was an exceptional guide—pleasant, knowledgeable, and deeply familiar with the local culture, nature, and wildlife. His insights and personal stories enriched our trip, and we were so impressed that we booked our entire tour with them. Bryan and Keylor, who handled scheduling and customizing our tours, were professional, easy to work with, and precise. If you’re looking for reliable, affordable, and knowledgeable service, look no further than 7 Tours.Written September 1, 2024

- M3999MPashleyn0 contributions10/10 Recommend! Our tour guide Mario was awesome and made both of our tours (the Arenal Waterfall and Volcano, and the Rio Celeste Waterfall) so welcoming and educational. He made funny jokes and was super informative about the historical sights, but also didn’t overdo it and let everyone have their space and experience everything how they wanted. I also appreciated that he repeated most things in spanish and english (so we could understand but also learn a bit more spanish). He also volunteered to take our pictures and also helped take pictures of wildlife, even if we couldn’t see it, he could!Written August 21, 2024
- elodiez6230 contributionsNice hanging bridge and Waterfall experienceThe hanging bridge tour brings you in the middle of the rainforest. It's very nice, even if we got a lot of rain! The waterfall is beautiful but we were not allowed to swim in it because of the rain, so there was not a lot to do except exercise with the 500 stairs and take a nice picture. Mario the guide is super experienced. He was spotting animals like a magician! He even spot a Sloth while we were at the waterfall for us to be able to check it on our back to the lunch. For the lunch we stopped at a very decent restaurant. All in all you have a very nice experience for you money!! Thank you Mario! 😁👌🏻Written August 20, 2024

We really enjoyed the Mistico hanging bridges park and saw amazing wildlife, views, and learned a lot about the area. I would definitely recommend the park as something family friendly and fun to do in the Arenal area. Our guide Mario was great and very knowledgeable.
However, the tour was a miss because we had 23 in our group when only 12 was advertised in our booking. Although Mario was great, it was too many people to manage for one guide. Water and snacks was also listed in the tour description which was not provided, so we didn’t pack water. We passed other groups along the path that were much smaller and more intimate which is what we paid for and expected but did not receive. These little things did impact the experience.
I would recommend the park, it’s a must see, and recommend our guide, just not the tour company for mis-managing our booking.

Saw plenty of amazing wildlife. We had a private guide, Roy, who was very good at spotting creatures. He was also very knowledgeable about the wildlife there so we learnt a lot. We were lucky that it wasn't too busy but I believe it can get very crowded at times so pick your entry time carefully.

Our tour was exceptional! Our guide Roy was incredibly knowledgable of the flora and fauna of the park and spotted dozens of plants and animals we never would have seen had we done this tour on our own. We can't say enough about how cool the entire experience was - the bridges were awesome, the sights outstanding and again, Roy made the whole day with his insight and eyesight! (LOL). We are a family of four - our boys are 10 and 12 and this was on of their top activities in La Fortuna! Definitely a must do

We went on the morning tour with Ricardo. He was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. The rainforest and hanging bridges are beautiful. We had been on several hikes while in Costa Rica and it was really nice to see the rainforest from the top of the canopy. We saw lots of wildlife and learned a lot about the eco system.
Highly recommended!

What a wonderful morning we spent with Kenya who guided us through the rainforest. She was super bright and incredibly knowledgable about all the flora and fauna. She was so patient, kind and lovely with my family including 2 young kids. She brought a telescope and seemed to spot every animal in the rainforest! An unforgettable experience

Fantastic tour. Amazing site and the tour route in the park was phenomenal. Or guide Kenya was so kind, so informative about the ‘ecosystem’. She spotted all sorts of diverse flora/fauna from leaf cutter ants to snakes to monkeys to colourful birds to amazing forest trees/plants! And how they all interact. An excellent tour.

Guide Ricardo was superior in pointing out birds, insects, frogs and whatever happened to be nearby. He made sure we saw or heard them and shared wonderful background on each. Our grandsons, ages 11 and 13, were totally caught up with Ricardo's sitings and explanations. We all enjoyed crossing the bridges too. The park does get crowded and some people will push through but we were kept on a reasonable pace and never felt were waiting around.

Hanging bridges walk with a tour guide. Our tour guide was Ricardo and he was great. Family trip with 13 and 11 year old kids. About 3 hour walking tour. 20+ bridges with 6 hanging bridges. Hanging bridges were high and long but safe. Tour guide helps you find wildlife that we wouldn’t find on our own. Kids were tired by the end of the tour. Group size was about 15. Included transportation to and from the hotel. Great view of volcano if sunny. We saw sloth and other unique animals. Good trip.
