Excellent experience at the hotel. Great view of the volcano, lots of hot springs to use and good staff. BUT the food is not that good. We had dinner the first night and we had to return a couple of the plates because they were not good. And the server of that night was not good either. Yet the rest of the staff were real good and the room was super clean and modern. I would definitely come back.

It is a beautiful place to spend time! But in our case my room was beautiful, jut the refrigerator was not working at any time ! The customer service was nice ! A little overpriced for the drinks !

We decided to stop by at this hot spring based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed . There are two big pools and a few small ones attached. There was work being done on of them which they didn’t mention on the webpage. The place itself needs updating and you can see it in different areas. I guess most of the reviews were done by visitors who were on tours and got there in the evening. Definitely it not worth the $43 entrance fee.

We went to this place for the evening for the hot springs and dinner. We would recommend skipping the dinner option altogether as the buffet food was not great quality, not well cooked and not very tasty and also with no alternatives for vegetarians/vegans. The hot springs were warm and relaxing and mostly full of young American tourists. The changing rooms and locker facilities were dated and tired. The cocktails were nice but on the expensive side.

My wife and I spent an evening at Paradise Hot Springs on a day pass. It was absolutely relaxing, beautiful, and refreshing. The only thing we suggest is that you do NOT get the buffet dinner. It was underseasoned and overcooked and definitely the worst meal we had in Costa Rica. The swim up bar has a bunch of “snack” options that could definitely be whole meals - highly recommend doing that instead (it’s also cheaper!).

We had a room for the night and liked the space and the safety of it all. Large rooms and helpful staff. At night the hot springs were perfect for soaking and star gazing after a long day of exploring.

We had a great day relaxing at the hot springs. We had been warned it gets really busy and maybe we were just lucky but it was perfectly fine! We got there just before opening time at 11am and stayed till about 2pm. The pools were lovely and clean apart from a few leaves that fall during the day. All areas were spotlessly clean but special mention must go to the bar area at the back with the most fabulous views of the countryside with an uninterrupted view of the volcano - superb.

Outdated. Crowded. Poorly managed pool bar (noisy, drunk people tolerated...) Don't even think you can relax there. The place is an absolute nightmare.

Went to Paradise after a day of white water rafting. Perfect end to the day to just relax and warm our muscles. Went with my family (parents + 2 kids ages 12 and 9). They had pools of various warm to hot temperatures. There was a swim up bar, and kids had a great time. We chose the day pass with meal and likely didn’t need the meal. It was a buffet style - decent food, good variety but not excellent. If you’re looking for a more rustic and natural feeling hot springs, this is the place. It doesn’t have that posh feel, which is exactly what we were looking for.

If you’re looking for an affordable day pass to some hot springs, go for it. It’s prettier at night time if you’re going… I don’t recommend upgrading to get the food, or spa services at all. Embarrassed that I bought this for my family.

This place is amazing, private, beautiful grounds and very affordable, the pools and jacuzzi are nice and warming, very welcoming!! 🙏🏼

We had a wonderful day in Paradise. The name says it all. Warm hot spring pools( Not crowded) great lunch. Our server Guermo was very attentive and the food was authentic Costa Rician. We also enjoyed a 60 min sheepish massage what a great day! If you are in LaFortuna skip the fancy expensive places and come for a great relaxing time here at Paradise.

We booked hot springs and dinner here because of the reviews. 2 middle aged couples. Have to say very disappointed. It’s basically just a bunch of lukewarm swimming pools and very worn facilities. Dinner was a very lame buffet with tasteless food and horrible desert. Really got the feeling they just wanted to do the minimum they could get away with. Considering the number of similar operations in the area I’m sure there are much better options. We paid over $100 each. Big mistake. Would not recommend.

Very peaceful, relaxing and soothing. There are 8 hot springs pools that very in temperature. There is access to a pool bar. Clean locker rooms to change in. Would recommend it to anyone.

It was part of the tour package, locker need some remodeling, no changing room and just a shower so open space and no bench . As you walk to the spring water pool areas ( it needs some maintenance , it looks nothing like the photos . Deep cleaning maintenance.
