This was a great experience! My husband always wanted to make La Mian so we were very happy when we saw this class.
The “class room” is a little hard to find: take line 7 or 9 to Zhaojiabang Road, take exit Nr 2. Find the gate for 269 Zhaojiabang Road. You have to go around the first house, turn left in the backyard, walk through the backyard, turn left again (almost as if leaving the compound through another gate), find building No 2 on the left hand side, take the elevator inside up to the fifth floor and turn left.
The class is taught by one chef with the help of a very friendly translator. At first we were irritated since the ingredients were already prepared but that was only for the sauces. In the back room they had prepared flour and water and so we got to prepare the dough for the noodles (hard work ;) ). Once the dough is ready you get to cut your own noodles and eat them with the self made sauces.
Be prepared though: the pulling of the La Mian is not easy and I’m not so sure that we’ll be able to prepare them at home without the help of the chef. I guess we have to try try try
All in all I would highly recommend this class!

Hi, I am trying to book for a spot for April 6 class, but the system asked for minimum two adults. So I entered two adults, but then system gives me an error message that it needs at least two infants. It is so weird. I think something is wrong with the booking system. So can you book one spot for me please? Thank you.
