We booked a custom tour with Jenny's ... 3 days in Shanghai and 3 days in Beijing. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!!! The communication via email with Jenny was great before the trip, she answered all of our questions, added stops we had on our list to see, made suggestions, and was always prompt with her replies. Everything was taken care of from the airport pick-ups, drivers, our tour guide who was able to help us translate. We were naturally nervous going to a country where we didn't know the language but our tour guides were AMAZING. "Apple" in Shanghai was THE BEST!!!! We LOVE her! I would highly recommend requesting her if you go to Shanghai !! Seeing all of the sites especially the Great Wall was one of the best experiences to have with my family. We actually want to return to see Hong Kong and return to Shanghai to see "Apple"! We will absolutely use Jenny's Tours again!!!

The tour was very organised and comfortable. The highlight was our tour guide Peggy who just made our day so comfortable and something to cherish. We covered almost all main spots like the bund, Yu garden, Jade Budha, French concession, etc. The chauffeur and Peggy were both accommodating at the end of the tour as we stretched a bit more than hours promised. The car which was offered was also of great quality. Overall highly recommended , you will not regret. Enjoy your visit to this lovely city of Shanghai!

Great tour! We had a quick family trip to Shanghai, once we booked this tour the communication from Jenny was amazing. We were able to make the day work around the sites we wanted to see and Jenny had great advice on things to see and do for our family. Apple our personal guide was amazing, would highly recommend, we ened up booking for a second day to see more and using Jennys tours when we had a day stop over in Haikou on the way home, next time we are in China Jennys will be out first point of contact to look at tours and book again!

I want to start off by first thanking Jenny for her quick replies and help while I was booking the tour. I found the booking process to be very effective, informative and overall easy to do. For a first timer like me who has never been to China before. I was reassured once liaising with her that my time in China would be well spent. Overall I loved my time in Chengdu. Even though my time was limited I feel I got to experience a good mixture of things. Old and new. The tour included going to the Chengdu Panda base, Heming Tea House, Kuanzai Alley and the Wenshu Temple. My guide Keely was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and was more than happy to answer any questions I had. Thanks to her, I gained a deeper understanding of Chengdu’s history and Chinese culture as a whole. I left with deeper insight and a greater appreciation for Chinese customs than when I arrived. Keely was also very friendly and we got along straight away. Her style of tour guiding in my option was one of the best I have experienced. Some tours I have been to felt like I was with a robot who just throws information at you😅. Keely made it feel like I was touring Chengdu with a friend. It made my stay in China even more enjoyable. Keely also inquired about any dietary restrictions I had. When I informed her that I prefer to eat vegetarian food. She addressed my dietary needs and took me to an all vegetarian buffet which was very considerate of her. Although I’m not much of a shopper and didn’t purchase anything, the sites we visited had plenty of stalls and items for sale. I’m sure Keely would have been happy to accommodate any shopping interests I had. For me the tour could not have gone any better and was excellent in every way. In Summary; I had a fantastic time in Chengdu! The booking process was very smooth and really put me at ease as a first-time traveler. I loved how the tour balanced the city's rich history with its modern vibe. Keely was amazing, her deep knowledge and friendly attitude made the tour feel like a day out with a good friend rather than a standard guided experience. She gave me great insights into Chengdu’s history and Chinese culture and she was also very accommodating. Overall, I enjoyed every moment of my trip and honestly can’t think of anything that could’ve been better. The only complaint I do have is that I should have stayed multiple nights in Chengdu and not just for the duration of my transit 😆. I am definitely considering coming to China again and touring multiple cities. The good thing is now I know who to reach out to when that day comes. I want to thank Jenny and her team for welcoming me and making my stay an enjoyable one.

My wife and I had a total of four amazing private guided tour days arranged by Jenny’s Shanghai Tours. Two days in Shanghai, Suzhou, and Zhouzhuang – and another two days in Xi’an. Jenny was responsive, understanding, and accommodating in arranging customized itineraries to meet our interest, need, and schedule. Day 1-2: Our guide in Shanghai, Suzhou, and Zhouzhuang was Kristy Zhao. Kristy’s friendliness, attentiveness, and deep understanding & familiarities with the region made our trip run smoothly; this made our hot days and long-distance walks much more pleasant and less tiring. Kristy also made sure we were able to visit all the places we wanted to see and at the same time provided us with the in-depth history behind them. It made our visit much more interesting as we felt like we were living through a time capsule. Day 3-4: In Xi’an, we were guided by Sally Wang. Her knowledge of China’s history & familiarities with the region was impeccable. My recent interest in Chinese history had enticed me to read more books/articles about them – but now having visited Xi’an in person + Sally’s personalized guided tour, I learned so much more beyond my expectation. Sally was able to explain all the intricate historic events in detail in a way that made them interesting & easier to understand. Sally was also friendly, attentive, and has a deep understanding with this region. She also has great English communication skills. Although this is my 5th visit to China, I feel like I have just begun to know China after I have visited Xi’an. I would recommend anyone who want to visit China to also visit Xi’an. Kudos to Jenny and her team that made our visit to China pleasant, memorable, and meaningful. I will reach out to Jenny’s Shanghai Tours again for a future trip to China and certainly would love to have Kristy & Sally as our guides again.

we did several days with jenny in several cities. she arranged everything and made it so easy and fun for our family. all the tour guides knew their stuff and how to handle the crowds.

It's our first time visiting Shanghai and was having troubles about it first. Luckily, Jenny's China Tours has been an incredible guide and welcoming agency for me and my mom. We had a great time touring shanghai even if only little time was allotted for the tour because of the 12-hour transit. Our tour guide Sir Troy has been great and overall made this experience much more memorable for the both of us. Me and my mom both enjoyed and learned a lot of things about the beauty of Shanghai's history, architecture, and culture. It was greatly guided and we had no problems during the tour. Ms. Jenny is also very accommodating and honestly answers all of our concerns and questions about the tour. We are more than grateful to have met Sir Troy, Sir Tao, and Ms. Jenny to guide our first trip to Shanghai. Their incredible services and hospitality encouraged us to visit soon again. We booked a full day Shanghai highlights private tour and a half day water town tour and were lucky enough to have Peggy as our tour guide. She was knowledgable and shared so many details of Shanghai life past and present that we felt our day and a half with her gave us a real insight into the life of the city and its people. We loved going up the Shanghai Tower early, to beat the crowds and enjoy the amazing views. We also enjoyed wandering around the French concession, visiting the Yu Gardens, seeing the marriage seeking parents in the People’s Park and hearing Peggy’s stories of her childhood and her parents’ youth, during China’s turbulent past. Our second half day tour to Zhujiajiao water town was also wonderful. We were lucky it was not too crowded and Peggy shared so much information with us about the history of the town and the traditional foods prepared in the many shops there. Peggy was an excellent guide, intuitive to our needs and great fun to share information with. She also took us to two delicious local restaurants and chose our lunches really well, accommodating our dietary restrictions. Our drivers were also excellent both days. We would definitely use Jenny’s Tours again, especially if we could have Peggy as our guide.

There are a lot of good tour operators in Shanghai but Jenny’s Tours are at another level. I wish I could give 10 stars because Jenny raises the bar so much! My guide, Peggy, spoke impeccable English, took the time to ask me what I was interested in and then guide me across Shanghai, making me feel like I was a resident here! Peggy is a very experienced guide, so she knows everything and can answer all of your questions. She made me discover Shanghai from an insider’s point of view and she not just showed me the touristic places (which is what I asked for). It was such a delight! I loved every moment, and her meal and coffee / tea ceremony break suggestions were spot on! Absolutely amazing. I strongly recommend Jenny’s tours, especially since Jenny is very responsive, immediately contacts you after booking (which is not the case with the other tour operators I tried) and ensures that you’ll be satisfied and comfortable. Absolutely top notch!

Peggy was amazing. We first Zhujijio then Shanghai. We had kids with us and Peggy was very flexible with our itinerary. The car was very comfortable as well. Highly recommend.

Peggy was just amazing . Just flew overnight from New Zealand . She was in time met us at our hotel with a fabulous air conditioned car and driver ! Nothing was a problem Well paced , set out a overview of the day and very open to make changes as we went , So knowledgeable ! Fun to be with and made us feel valued , informed and really delighted with our Shanghai experience! Would highly recommend Well worth the investment in time and money !

We booked a private family tour with an English-speaking tour guide, which was a wonderful and fun time for our family. Our tour guide was Peggy and she was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited and also very personable. We learned so much about the different sites in Shanghai that we will definitely book with Jenny's Shanghai tours on our next visit to Shanghai. This tour company also provides airport pick-up/drop-off.

We had two part days and one full day on a privately arranged custom tour that fit our intinerary and stop over perfectly. We were met my our lovely driver Mr Tao at the airport and Troy met us at the hotel for a whirlwind of amazing sites, soaking up local culture and answering all of our many, many questions. The tour was flexed to our specific interests and we moved things round to suit weather, heat and location as we got to know more about our surroundings and Troy could ask about our specific preferences. We took the bullet train to Hangzhao and saw so many amazing things, the train station was an experience in itself and we had Troy to help us all the way. There is the ultimate luxury of being able to constantly slip into a private air conditioned car and be ferried to the next stop as if my magic - we truly felt like royalty. Troy was with us the entire time and there is no way with the language barrier that we could have seen what we did, ate at local places and understood where we were without him. Made for a super simple, relaxing and overall facinating tour - we have travelled extensively and this would be up there as one of the best tours and service we have ever experienced. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Troy, Jenny and the drivers for a seamless experience - cannot wait to come back!
