Your tour begins with a front-door pickup in your hotel lobby, where you’ll prepare for an hourlong drive to Zhujiajiao, one of China’s best-preserved water towns. A private guide will lead you on a leisurely stroll down winding lanes and over picturesque stone bridges as you listen to commentary about the historic village. Get your camera ready: Next, you’ll hop aboard a boat for a relaxing canal ride, where you’ll have a front-row view of the town’s quaint traditional houses. Enjoy a break for lunch in a local restaurant for the chance to sample authentic regional delicacies. Most other tours end there, but you’ll continue the day with a visit to Shanghai city highlights, beginning with the 400-year-old pavilions of Yuyuan Garden. The action-packed tour concludes at the lively Bund district, where you’ll see staples like Shanghai Tower, home to a high-rise observatory with panoramic views of the city. You'll also have the opportunity to customize the tour with optional add-ons like the resplendent Jade Buddha Temple or the Shanghai Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Chinese art.

8 hour exploration of Shanghai
Wow! Words cannot fathom the experience we received today. Our tour guide was professional and super knowledgeable about this city!
We started the morning off with greetings and first class private experience that made us feel welcomed. This tour really involves all of what Shanghai has to offer. The lunch was so authentic we kept ordering more food! My girlfriend & I still can't believe how much of the city and culture we for to experience.
Our driver Mr. Han was so professional and kept us all safe! We came from the airport for our layover for a one day tour and he brought us back to the airport, which was so kind and gracious!
Last but not least our amazing well experienced & super knowledgeable tour guide Wilson gave us the most beautiful experience of this spectacular city! Truly an unforgettable experience & we highly recommend to anyone wanting to book highlights with an authentic lunch!

Awesome private tour of Shanghai

our tour guide Snow did a wonderful job touring us today. aside from the places mentioned in the tour description, she happily added few places we requested to visit. she is very knowledgeable about Shanghai history and culture, as well as Taoism and Buddhism history and beliefs, so our tour was enjoyable at the same time very informative. Snow is also very thoughtful. she gave me, my husband and my kids gifts when she met us at the hotel lobby, including home-made snowcandies, which she made herself. for lunch, she took us to a good restaurant with delicious options for my picky-eater kids. over-all, I highly recommend this private tour to families who want to experience Shanghai in a very relax and enjoyable way. request for Snow as your tour guide because she is amazing!

Beautiful water town

Berlin did a great job showing us this town. It was stunning and the markets were awesome. They had the cheapest prices of all items I’ve seen on China thus far and Berlin did a great job helping us to navigate it. She was awesome and made the tour amazing!

Wonderful day tour of Shanghai
Berlin was a fantastic, friendly guide who answered all of our questions about Shanghai and had no problem with English. She took very good care of us all day. Zhujiajiao is great town to explore with extensive market and great food. We loved the garden visit. Berlin was keen to get our input and changed the itinerary to suit our interests. Definitely would book this tour with friends and request Berlin again.

A&Mazing first day in Shanghai

We are a group from Texas touring China for a university study abroad. Berlin was our guide for a full day tour that acclimated us to the side streets and sights of Shanghai and also the village of Zhujiajiao. Her attention to detail was perfect and helped our group customize a tour that exceeded all our expectations. From helping us negotiate with vendors,explaining the history and cultural relevance of Jade Buddha Temple, and ordering local dishes that truly gave us a taste of Shanghai, everything about our day was top notch. So much so that we requested her as our guide for our next day. This was a perfect was to orient to this city. Absolutely 5* tour company and tour guide. Highly recommend

Snow met us at our hotel in a very timely manner. She is so friendly and knowledgeable! She was very informative on our drive to Zhujiajiaozhun, a charming canal village. She is very patient in explaining specifics about everything from traditions to food to religion. We absolutely enjoyed our day with her and would recommend her guide services to all!

Had the privilege of Alana as our tour guide. She was incredible. Full of energy and information.
Enjoyed the water town and the authentic lunch.

Alana picked us up at our hotel, gave us all a beautiful gift and a bottle of water for the start of our trip… short ride in a comfortable air-conditioned bus. She was extremely knowledgeable.
