Incredible food, incredible guide. Jade was so kind answering all of my questions. She gave the best insight about the food and Shanghai! Come hungry… like really hungry because there are 4-5 stops with lots of food! Will book this tour again! Great way to try local foods!

Where do I start! Our food tour in Shanghai with Jim was absolutely out of this world amazing. This was our very first experience after stepping off the airplane into China, and it set a high standard for the rest of our trip! The tour was incredibly interesting, and Jim went above and beyond to share extra details about the food and culture. The variety and quality of the dishes were exceptional—we enjoyed them so much that we returned to a couple of the restaurants in the following days! This experience truly made our visit to Shanghai unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Jade was a fabulous host! We ended up being the only 2 people on the tour and it was very fun. She took us to 4 food places and a fun bar as well as a stop for local fruit. They were all super tasty dishes. At the fruit place she even let us pick out some special ones like the white strawberries. We also took a nice route through a park and sky bridge where she took nice photos for us. Would highly recommend as a good intro into all sorts of Chinese dishes from good restaurants!

Our guide, Jade, was amazing and showed us so many local places that we’d never get to see otherwise! She was very kind and spoke amazing English. She also did a great job telling us about the culture and the history!

Jim and Rebekah are absolutely fantastic! They showed us all those amazing local foods and we had a tea ceremony/testing which I loved! The food was super yummy and Jim told us a lot about the chinese culture. Would totally recommend to anyone who‘s into food, good moods and culture!

We had an amazing time on the food tour with Patrick! We got to experience a lot of different food, and the dumplings were probably our favorite! Definitely recommend when in Shanghai!

We had an excellent food tour with Jade and Rebekah, including amazing noodles in a tiny shop, a lesson in tea drinking with four different types of traditional tea, some fantastic seasonal fruit including white strawberries and finishing with 7 different types of dumplings in two restaurants. Our group was interesting and friendly and the walk took us through the old French quarter of Shanghai. Our guides took great care of us, procuring extras like barbecued lamb and roasted duck, beers and soft drinks and bathroom stops when needed. It was a great way to get to know Shanghai, visit some restaurants I would never have found myself, and make some new friends. Highly recommended.

Our guide Helen was amazing. All the food she took us to were really good. The food was varied and we were given cultural information about each dish. She was very considerate about what each person could eat and even helped me find a bathroom late at night when the options were thin. Would definitely have her again if given the opportunity.
