Great show! Very entertaining and suitable for all ages! A must see. You can buy your tickets on line at get your guide. When picking up your tickets, make sure to give yourself enough time as the line at the box office can be quite long. Also if possible have the hard copy of your invoice to give to the box office so that they can easily find your reservation and print your tickets.

Truly spectacular show.
I recommend.
We bought the ticket on the day and got good seats.
There is a subway stop 50 meters from the Shanghai Circus Building.

I am not a big fan of acrobatic shows normally but I was coaxed into going to this one and boy was I impressed. It is Cirque du Soleil Plus. It is worth the money.

If you are expecting a Cirque du Soleil level performance I suggest you save your money. It's an unheated venue where spinning plates are dropped to the floor, acrobats stumble and you are actually expecting the motorcycles to crash inside the ball. Thank goodness they didn't!!

Simple to get to off the Metro, just walk 1 block North of the Shanghai Circus World stop on Red Line 1. Plenty of seats were available the day of the show on the Thursday night I went. I picked up tickets early in the day, noonish, but there were lots of empty seats at performance time. I found the the acts to be sensational, very entertaining and just plain fun to watch ..... many “How in the world did they do that” moments! I got the midrange 420 RMB tickets, Section B, and they were great. However, it doesn’t look to me that you would loose much in entertainment by sitting in Section D in the least expensive seats. The venue is small so no one is very far from the action. However, the acts ARE all oriented so that the A section guests get the full, straight on, best viewing angle with each succeeding section further off to the side. I see no reason at all to pay the premium to sit in the Stage side “Infield Seats”. I was laughing, applauding and thoroughly enjoying myself the entire show. In my opinion you can’t go wrong seeing this show. I’ll go again if I ever get the chance.

Circus show was fantastic and well worth it! Ticket pickup was super easy, just need to show the Booking Reference number provided by TripAdvisor at venue box office to exchange for paper tickets. Great show overall, and a highlight of our Shanghai trip!

After seeing other shows in China, I found this one disappointing. The sets , lighting, and music did not come close to the other, more traditional shows. That being said, show was entertaining with lots of short acts and audience participation. Reminded me of a 50's or 60's talent show. If you go to see it at the Shanghai Center Auditorium there are good restaurants and shopping right there.

The circus lives...UNREAL!!
We are from the US and had no idea what to expect. Booked at the last minute with two couples.

I have been to a lot of cirque de sol shows in Vegas and I am pretty spoiled by the theatrical display so when we pulled up to the old school circus tent I thought it would be a long 90min. Boy was I wrong! The talent and things the performers did was absolutely jaw dropping. It was authentic and wonderful. (Ps for the lazy husband like me that worries about comfort the AC was also great...lol.).

So if your cynical guy who’s traveled all over and you think you ha e seen it all. You have not until you have seen this!!!

Spectacular Show!

This has been the highlight of our stay in Shanghai. What a show! Highly recommend this show. During the show we had a couple of elderly ladies who couldn't stop oohing and aahing with every acrobatic exhibition. So much so, we couldn't help busting out laughing.

Wow!
We really enjoyed this show and the talented young performers. Something different to do in the evening. Theatre was small enough that all seats had good views (section B was great, could go even cheaper and have a good view). Venue looked new and was immaculate.
