About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Aney600 contributionsPrehistoric human habitation and artThe Usgalimal Rock carvings are a little difficult to locate. There is Archaeological Survy of India’s signage, but it is not very helpful. These Rock carvings depict the art of the pre historic people who dwelt here. They etched these forms on the lava beds besides the quiet flowing Kushawati river. These 4000 to 6000 year old petroglyphs on the banks of the Kushawati river are from the Neolithic period when humans were in the hunter gatherer stage. The pictures are of bulls, birds, dancing men, women, weapons and a labyrinth. Archeologists debate the period and some place it back to the Palaeolithic age:20,000 to 30,000 years.Hiwever the drawings of weapons, farm implements and the presence of the bill in the carvings seems to indicate the existence of a farming community. Absolutely worth a visit.Written August 3, 2024
- Rhys B0 contributionsTerrible and dissapointingMeet up address wasn’t anywhere near the red fort as described. Guide never turned up, didn’t reply to messages and the phone number given didn’t work.Written October 13, 2023
- Saharmvardi0 contributionsGuide didn't show upMy booking was confirmed, I showed up at the meeting point, and there was nobody there. I tried to call the number listed but it didn't even connect. I received a full refund, but the experience of arriving as planned at 9am, waiting, looking for someone, having no way to communicate, and just being stood up was very disappointing and frustratingWritten July 1, 2022
- Astrida030 contributionsHistorical landmark in south goa.Rock carving usagalimal rivona is a historical landmark in south goa. It is one of the great prehistoric sites in western India. It is Situated on the river Kushavati which gives us nature vibes, These rock art's are about 30,000 years old. The images includes of bulls, labyrinths and human figures etc and this are carved on laterite stones. It is a forest protected area and It is one of the rich sites of rock engravings in india. - infoL9821ST0 contributionsA true eye openerA woke walk, intriguing foods to trust and taste. Jain Culture is a culture that every one should be aware of: non violence, many-sided reality, veganism etc and ancient Indian Religion to learn from.Written February 4, 2020

We waited at the given location but no one showed up. We asked some locals to call the phone number in the ticket, but no one answered the call. We rented a scooter specifically for that day, so will also have to sit on these costs. What a waste of valuable holiday time and money! Stay away from this!
