My friends and I were in Chennai for a wedding and wanted to see the sights on our last day in town. We only had a few hours and wanted to see the main sights without too much time spent in transit. I reached out Wonder Tours based on the reviews and received an email from Rajesh very quickly with suggested options and rates. The booking process was easy and transparent. Rajesh organized a personalized, private tour for us to see four of the main sights, including transportation and lunch. What was nice was that Rajesh presented us with options so we could really tailor the itinerary to our tastes and it didn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all approach. All in all, this was the perfect way to see everything and finished off our trip to South India. The highlight was the delicious biryani lunch at this low-key place we would have never found for ourselves. Rajesh in particular was great to work with, he responded to my emails very quickly and was patient when I had to change the party size twice. He showed up on time and communicated well with my group. I can’t recommend him and wonder Tours enough, really great experience all around.

My husband and I had a memorable day in Pondicherry with our guide Rajesh. We went to a temple, checked out several fun restaurants and got to spend time in Auroville. Rajesh provided interesting insights about the history of Pondicherry and was quite accommodating during the whole trip. It was a fantastic day!

Rajesh is a great guide.Wander through the charming streets of the French Quarter, adorned with vibrant buildings and bougainvillea, creating a scene straight out of a postcard. Visit Aurobindo Ashram for a soothing experience and enjoy the scenic beaches that line the coast.Later lunch visited Auroville a fabulous experience.

While a day feels great, both heritage and natural beauty leaves a lasting impression, making Mahabalipuram a must-visit for history enthusiasts and casual travelers alike.

Started strong then fell off quickly. This was compounded when we were told we could go to see handicrafts being made and were instead taken to a jewelry shop and given a hard sell to buy (obviously some kind of commission deal with the guide) - I’d expect this from a random taxi guide but not for a paid tour! Quite shady behaviour. The tour guide was not enthusiastic - felt like we were a burden after the first temple. One of the temples was closed with no replacement stop. The lunch was tasty but we were told that it was “the McDonald’s of India” - for the price I’d expect better. Considering this costs £55 per person (!!), I would say it is very overpriced.

The Promenade Beach offered stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. The food in Pondicherry was fantastic, with plenty of options for both French and South Indian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed trying out the French pastries and local seafood. The vibe of the town is calm, slow-paced, and ideal for unwinding. Overall, Pondicherry offers a charming blend of history, spirituality, and coastal beauty, making it an unforgettable experience.

We booked the private tour with Wonder tours which made the journey hassle-free. The drive along the coastal road was smooth Mahabalipuram is the place where we can see different types of architecture.In this tour the company arranged 2 guides both are excellent.I definitely recommend this trip.

Felt rushed and it seemed that the guide had no interest in doing that tour. The local guide by the sides was okish though.
