About
This Chennai walk is led by a cultural evangelist who will bring alive the heritage and legacy of Chennai's first settlement. Trace the evolution of George Town as the trading post for East Indian Company in the 17th century to its modern avatar as the trading hub of Chennai in this walking tour in Chennai. Experience cultural diversity in this walking tour in Chennai at ancient temples predating the British Era and an iconic Church of Armenian traders.

The Georgetown walk is a lovely one to learn more about the history and heritage of Chennai. Vijay was an awesome guide. He took us to landmarks which had a part to play in the rich history of the city. We saw magnificent buidings like the Madras high court and Armenian Church. Vijay narrated the fascinating story of how Georgetown town evolved from a small trading centre to Chennai metropolis. We even saw a couple of quaint temples. I would strongly recommend this tour.

Great wan to experience the rich history of George Town. The Armenian Church, Burma Bazzar and other bazaars were an eye opener, especially for the the teens.
