- W7844YCfionah0 contributionsA spectacular experience. Go for the lower numbered zones-3 and 4 were excellent! We had a wonderful safari at Rantanbore. We did one morning and one evening safari, both booked by this company. They were very good at advising us which zones to book in. We initially wanted jeep safaris but there wasn't availability for jeeps in the zones that the company recommended. Ranthanbore is divided into (I think) 10 zones and your transport can only move around within the zone you have booked. The company recommended that we were batter to go in the bigger (cantor) vehicle in the better zones than to go in the smaller and usually more desirable and more expensive jeep transport in a less good zone and they were absolutely correct! We were blessed to see 4 tigers in zone 3 on our morning safari and 3 tigers in zone 4 on our afternoon safari. It was fabulous! The best zones seem to be zones 1-5 The days we were there several people didn't see tigers in the higher numbered zones. Having said that you are by no means guaranteed to see tigers in any zone. We spoke to someone who had done 4 safaris over the 2 days before we arrived in zones 3 and 4 and didn't see tigers at all. The park is however beautiful and there is lots of other wildlife to see so even a safari without tigers would not be wasted money or time, but seeing them is a spectacular experience! The tigers definitely seem to be more active in the morning so if you have to choose one or the other I would recommend morning. They tend to be more sleepy in the afternoon.Written November 13, 2024
- N5153ZTdavidl0 contributionswell worth a visitI went here with a private guide, haish, he was excellent , there are a few steps to get to entrance and the monkeys don't bother you on way up . but when you're in fort, I'd like history. It's fascinating, I went on a Sunday, so there were a lot of people on the way to the temple in Fort . downside, there is some rubbish in fort , thrown by Indian tourist so my guide said, saying that still worth a visitWritten November 5, 2024
- gregeE223LA0 contributionsTiger safariWent on two safari’s one jeep one canter and sadly did not see any tigers both times there were sightings in the zone right beside us. It was still a really good experience and the staff was very fast to reply and helpfulWritten October 22, 2024
- Константин С0 contributionsGoodWe have not seen any tiger, but we have seen a few other animals - birds, deers, monkeys, crocodiles. It’s good for open forest. Guide, manager and driver were reliable. 5/5.Written October 18, 2024
- Hemu S0 contributionsGreat visitsA 6th century fort and UNESCO world heritage site. The road to the fort is equality attractive. It passes through dense forests. Divining thru this road is a unique experience. The main attraction of this fort is it's gates which are places at 90degree angle from the pathway to save it from breakage by elephants and wood logs. The fort houses 4 main temples and 1 jain temple.Written October 16, 2024

- williamhR1367CP0 contributionsA must do!My experience at ranthambore was amazing. We did 3 tours in zone 2,3&4 and got 7 sightings! (2&4 by gypsy, 3 in cantar) We went in June, at the end of the dry season meaning that the parks nature was not at its most beautiful, however the higher chances of tiger spotting well made up for it. Zone 4 had great diversity, with lots of deer, birds, boar, crocodile, antelope & more. We managed to see two tigers mating in zone 4 Zone 2 was great, we saw 5 tigers total, including a mother tiger and her 3 not so small cubs, whom were chasing a sloth bear. They came right by our gypsy vehicle, with the mother tiger being only a metre away from me. Zone 3, despite unfortunately not seeing a tiger, has such natural beauty. Massive rainfall the night before resulted in the lakes filling, and lots more greenery. The tour company, especially Laxman were so helpful, making the trip from booking until on the tour itself so smooth and easy! There are many low rated reviews on here, mainly due to people being late to book and getting stuck with not so great zones. I recommend booking at least 2-3 months in advance to get good zones (1-6 , although the people whom are helping you with your booking through this site will help you), and to get the opportunity to do the tour by gypsy opposed to cantar (gypsy is 6 seat jeep, cantar 20 seater) Gypsys are much better, as you can get in much better positions, aswell as much more movement. I felt like when i was in the cantar we were just waiting around for a gypsy to spot a tiger (which didnt happen). Overall great experience. Hotel Saif Ranthambore was great too!Written June 30, 2024
- 65kirah0 contributionsSolo female traveler, amazing experience!!!This experience was so amazing! First and foremost I was a solo female traveler during this trip and my driver made me feel so safe and comfortable right from the start. He was so kind and friendly. When we made any stops he explained to me what we were doing and when we arrived in Ranthambore he made sure my safari was organized and ready to go before I got in the Gypsy vehicle! This was a great experience and I highly recommend!!!Written June 24, 2024
- Jared M0 contributionsTigers and a good tripVery nice. Pickup service was not included, but they were super professional in arranging pickup and everything was outstanding. Tigers (if you are lucky enough to see them — and I did!) are wonderful.Written June 23, 2024
