My family and I recently spent 3 adventure filled weeks in India where we met Imran of Holymont tours. We've used over a hundred cabs during our stay in India and have hired multiple car rental companies for longer more specialized trips, but Imran was by far the best driver we've had and just a good personal experience in general. While cab hailing services like Uber and Ola are very prevalent in many Indian cities, the quality of the driver can really be a mixed bag, and often, there is a language barrier. For longer outstation trips or day tours? I have horror stories to tell of bad drivers, scams, bad customer service and inexplicable hidden fees -- even with the big companies!! But with Imran, everything was PERFECT. We met Imran as our Uber driver in Jaipur city. When you're a visible tourist in India, you become an easy target for over-eager (and sometimes very persistent) vendors who wants to sell you something at inflated tourist prices. Therefore, sometimes you can develop a bit of a wall against even very nice people. But with Imran, we immediately felt like we could trust him. He was just a friendly, happy and helpful guy. During our ride, we just had a great conversation about the city where he was happy to offer up local tips. He did not try to sell us anything at all. In fact, WE were the ones who asked him what it would cost if we booked him for a day tour. Turns out he has a whole tour company and multiple cars! So we happily worked out a rate for a day tour out of Jaipur city to a place called the Chand Baori Stepwells. The rate he gave us was very reasonable (at a competitive market rate -- I did the research). He didn't try to inflate his prices or try to cheat us into any other fees or hidden expenses. Sadly a lot of tourists get taken advantaged or get scammed by nefarious vendors because they don't do the research. But with Imran, everything was clearly communicated, honest and straightforward. He showed up for our pickup early, in a car that was new and clean! Of course at the end of the trip, we made sure to tip him. Plus, his English is VERY good. Therefore it's just a joy talking to him and hearing his insights on this country, his culture and his travels. He has a happy demeanor that is infectious ... when he takes you to a place (for example the Tiger Fort), his own love and excitement for the place is palpable and rubs off on you too. He's a true Jaipur local who knows his city. One last thing I wanted to mention ... and I think this says a lot about who Imran is. While he was waiting for us at one of our stops, he sat with some drivers and chatted with them. Later we all learned that one of those drivers was cheated out of a significant booking fee by a passenger who has disappeared on him without paying. Imran not only tried to help the driver troubleshoot the situation, but even after leaving him, he tried to call around to other friends to see if anybody can be of assistance to a guy he just met. He is truly a kind person who helps people out of a sense of justice and goodness. If you book your tour with him, you're guaranteed to be in good hands.

We have been taken on 2 tours by Imran. I found him both knowledgeable about Jaipur and very entertaining. His English too is very good. I would highly recommend him.

We hired Imran did 2 days to take us around Jaipur. It was an excellent experience. He gave us insights being a local on what was best to see during our short time in Jaipur. He also helped us on his own time to go to a mobile phone Sim card seller to activate our Sim cards that we had purchased the day before but the sellers did not activate. (that is another story all together about some of the crooked Sim card sellers out there in India) I definitely highly recommend Imran to guide you around Jaipur!

Going to India I was worried about the people who were out to get tourists. The scammers to the tour guides that were overcharging, Imran made sure we were safe and had a good experience. He kept us in good areas, while showing us the places we shouldn't go, I truly had a great time in India with Imran. 10/10 will call him when I'm around again.

I had a day tour with Imran and it was great. We met randomly in the street and he quickly orientated me and recommended things to do and visit for the nexts days. He even gave me a ride to the pink city free of charge. At any point he offered any tour or ask for money. He was just a nice guy helping out. We connected quite quick and I decided to ask him for his tours. He drove me around Jaipur for more than 10h at a very affordable price. He speaks perfect English, he is reliable, punctual and he takes care that you feel comfortable all the time. He never rushed me in any of the stops more the opposite. He always told me take your time and enjoy I'll be waiting for you here. He also introduced me to some local not spicy indian food and the best lassi in Jaipur. He even drove me back in the evening to get another one. Totally recommended. Very nice guy and great service definitely recommended!!

Imran is really a good person, always open, sociable and helpful. He knows English well and knows every place in Jaipur. I recommend it because it does not force you to buy anything and is very hospitable.

Good tours Nice and cheap in good company. He showed us many interesting places of Jaipur so we took advantage of our holidays in India. e didn't took sightseeing or another trip with Imran but I have to write about him as a Man. We met him in Jaipur and when he heared our story he declare help for us. We are cheated day earlier and he helped us took back our money. It wasn't easy and took some time. He really took care about us. He showed us better side of Jaipur,helped buy a local SIM,show elephant, took for good food etc. Most important is that Imran did all of this cause he is a good person. Very trustable, good and worth recommend man. He knows the city and neighborhood of Jaipur very well so his companionship is valuable. He took as to the Elefant farm, good place to see this amazing animals. He can recommend best places to eat and sleep in the city.We were in big troubles and he helped us with everything. If you want to try to understand the way of thinking of Indian people he is the best guide. I could recommend his services for everyone.

Imran took us around Monkey Temple, Nahagarh Fort, Amber fort and the Elephant village. He is a nice guy, speaks good English and knows a lot about India. We really appreciated discussing with him, he didn't try to change our trip to go to commissioned shops or restaurants and was of good advice Good guide and driver, would totally recommend ! We met with Imran during our trip at Jaipur. When we asked an adress on the street, He helped us. We need a arrange a tour to Jodhpur+pushkar. He confirmed that he also has a tour company so he helped us arrange this tour. We already took some prices from different agents but he gave us best price in all offers. He care about us and helped visit some places with own car. Also our trip to Jodhpur was safe and we arrived without any problem. He arranged a new car with good driver. Thanks for everything. If we would have had more time, we would have definately booked a tour with Mr. Imran khan. We got to know him when we were in need of transportation to our hotel from the Palace lake. Where other taxi drivers overcharged us, Mr. Khan took pride in providing us with his service for a fair price whilst telling us a lot about his country. We would higly recommend Mr. Khan for your future visit to Rajastan.

I would totally recommend going with Imran if you are in Jaipur! We run into him by chance in the parking lot of Hawa Mahal. He offered a reasonable price for going to and coming back from Monkey Temple, so we asked him to take us on a whole day tour next day. He's super friendly and easy to talk to. He's English is very good. He speaks when is necessary, explaining history and facts of Jaipur. We liked that he wasn't trying to talk too much or take us to buy things that we didn't want to. He's punctual and contacted us every time so we could know where we could find him after visiting each attraction. We had nice conversation and I like his honesty. Bonus: he has good taste for music! :D
