Itinerary
- 1Take an exciting private day trip to Ranthambore National Park from Jaipur, ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. The park was once a royal hunting ground, and still houses the Royal Fort and a scattering of ancient temples. The area is known for Bengal tigers, mugger crocodiles, Indian leopards, sloth bears, and hundreds of species of birds. After early pick up from your hotel or the airport in Jaipur, relax on the approximately 3 to 4-hour drive to Sawai Madhopur. Reach Ranthambore at 1 PM. Your 4-hour afternoon safari will start at approximately 2 PM. Travel through the forest zone with a government-approved naturalist guide in an open 6-seater Jeep or a larger canter, as you look out for the varied Indian flora and fauna in its natural habitat. At the end of the safari around 6:30 PM, the driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel in Jaipur. You may request a dinner break on the way back. Enjoy a fun, memorable tour at India's most popular national park.
About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- paulrA6509KC0 contributionsWe had a great time!We had a very nice time on this tour. Our driver was great. We thought about driving ourselves but I’m glad we chose not to. The tour was well thought out. We had enough time each day to relax. The tour company is owned by a woman named Sonia. She checked in each day to make sure everything was going well. If you want to support a small business owner give this tour a go. P. S. The guides in each city were very good.Written February 3, 2025

- Trail7625580 contributionsGreat layover Delhi SightseeingThis is second time with Vivek as we had long layover in Delhi so thought of utilizing time in sightseeing in Delhi. Vivek put together half day sightseeing plan. We had lots of luggage due to international travel but his driver has accommodated us very well. Vivek is very knowledgeable and trustworthy guide in Delhi, I will highly recommend him.Written January 14, 2025

- 582viktord0 contributionsGreat itinerary, clear communication and friendly/professional organiser and driver - Great intro to India for usWe were first-time visitors to India for 3 weeks and this was our first trip to the country. Overall, we had a very nice experience through the trip, which served as a great intro to the country. The tour was well organised, and had a good balance of sightseeing, guided tours, safari and nature - all with smooth transportation and nice hotels. Our driver Sonu took good care of us, was extremely friendly and polite. He was an excellent driver, smoothly navigating the busy streets of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, as well as the hillside roads of Ranthambore and introduced us to the local culture. The schedule was well structured, with days well spread out and plenty of nice sightseeing at each stop, making the longer drives feel not that long and totally worth it. We chose the 4 star hotels option, which proved to be of good quality, ensuring good sleep and rest. Communication from Sonia (organiser) prior to and during the trip was also very clear and professional - pleasant being in her hands. If I would make one recommendation to the organizer, it would be around the Ranthambore stop - It would be good to ensure adequate English proficiency of the actual safari tour guide. Potentially, the safari team could split the visit groups more in locals only, vs. mostly foreigners. In addition, if there could be a way to ensure a good zone allocation, that would also help the tour a lot. Overall, would very much recommend the tour!Written January 11, 2025

- dantorsiello0 contributionsLook ElsewhwreHere are a list of complaints from my tour. The only reason it is not one star is because the driver Rampal was exceptional. —— On 31/8 when we toured the spice market, we took an electric rickshaw at the guide’s behest. I wasn’t informed that I would be paying 500 rupees when I would have happily walked. On 31/8 I was given then option of the Sikh temple or the Hindu temple. I chose the Sikh temple believing I would still visit on 2/9 as according to your plan. However such a visit on 2/9 was not possible as the temple is closed on Mondays. On 31/8 I was asked if I wanted lunch, which I did. I was really disappointed to be taken to Drama - a knockoff of Planet Hollywood. I was never asked what may interest me or what my preference was. On 1/9 my guide brought me to a rug shop, which was neither on my itinerary or what I would choose to do. I was hard sold rugs which I had no interest in. On 1/9 I was asked if I wanted lunch again. I said yes, but insisted on something quick and off the street from a food cart. My guide said no problem - then took me to a high end sit down restaurant, the literal opposite of what I asked. Today (2/9) we made the Red Fort photo stop that was scheduled and skipped by my tour guide on 31/8. The only reason we made the stop was because I asked. Today my guide asked me to leave a review, which I always do. When I said I would do it when I return home as is my preference, I was pressured by my guide to do it then and there, even offering me a hot spot to access the internet. Such pressure made me uncomfortable. The timing off the tour was considerably off as we returned to Delhi, with everything completed, before 3:30pm, leaving Rampal (who is an absolutely incredible person and a true asset) to fill time.Written September 2, 2024
