The trip started with a tour of the Royal Cemeteries, followed by a trip around the Amber Palace, a visit to a silk weaving factory, a break for light refreshments at the Curry Spoon, followed by a visit to jewelry manufacturing shop. Back to the hotel by 16:30. Our driver Janu, arrived promptly at our hotel in a first class car. Janu: great driver, very knowledgeable, has very good photography skills. Recommended. Royal Cemeteries: not in many tour guide books but worth a visit if you have a guide to "explain you." Amber Palace/Fort: well worth the INR500, Hall of Mirrors particularly noteworthy. Silk weaving factory - ABC Exports: they weave silk and camel hair rugs, free to get in but you are encouraged to buy. The Curry Spoon: Beautiful decor, excellent food, very well priced. Jewelry manufacturing shop - Ratnavali Arts: interesting stone selection, cutting and polishing. Free to get in but encouraged to purchase.

I’ve done the tour of several towns in Rajhastan with Naveen. He is a wonderful driver, very safe and friendly. He suggested us a lot of spots to see and he helped us communicate with local people. I highly recommend his service.

Naveen has been an amazing driver throughout our whole trip in Rajasthan. He was always really helpful and careful, he gave us a lot of useful tips and he was always punctual and attentive. This review is over a year late (my bad), but the sentiment remains the same. We visited Jaipur in December of 2022 and made the right call to pick Janu Travels as our private guide. They were professional from the get-go, picking us up from the airport in a comfortable car and accommodating our schedules. Surya was our guide, and I cannot recommend him enough. He's a master storyteller and will transport you to a different world with his words, and if he likes you, you might even get a free palm reading thrown in. We saw everything we wanted to and then some, ate yummy food and shopped all at their recommended places. The icing on the cake was the connection with Janu himself, meeting him and listening to his fantastic life story on his hotel balcony over steaming chai. We will be back.

He was at the same time the driver, the advisor, the photographer and the one who cared about our safety and our well-being throughout the trip and the service. My tour with Imran was wonderful. He picked me up (with the driver, Salamat) in the morning for a sunrise tour of Taj Mahal. He was kind, informative and patient ( with very good English), and, bonus, he was an excellent photographer! He took the most beautiful photos! Then it was on to the Agra Fort tour which was also a great tour. As a solo female traveler, I value feeling safe and comfortable, which is what Imran made me feel. I cannot recommend him and Salamat enough! Definitely book the tour 👍🏻🇮🇳❤️

The Tour was very enjoyable and well organised. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped to the train station and then greeted on the other side. Malik and Salamat were very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us an in-depth and enjoyable tour of the Taj Mahal and explained the history of the region. They brought us to an amazing spot for lunch. Malik is also a very good photographer 🙂Would 100% recommend this tour.

Janu Tours are the tour company for small group/private tours. The number on the website is Janu himself, and as soon as you get talking to him you will know you're in good hands. He's enthusiastic, professional and so very helpful. I was lucky to have him personally for the tours around the city, and they went perfectly with stops at the main sites and lots of useful little detours to the local areas (on request!). Can't recommend enough.

Our tour was absolutely amazing. Our driver Imran was so knowledgeable about Jaipur and on top of that, really good fun! He took us for the best Lassie we’ve ever had before we set off on our day tour. We went to all the spots we wanted to see as well as some lesser known areas that Imran told us about. We really loved how chilled it was, no pressure to visit anywhere we didn’t like and so many cool recommendations. Janu, the owner, is also such an amazing guy! He will take so much time to ensure not only your tour but your whole trip is perfect. With the price and quality, would 10/10 recommend

From the planning until the final drop off at our final destination, everything was smooth, flexible, accommodating, kind, easy, personalised, tailored, friendly, on time. We had a very short time because we only had 2 days to visit Jaipur, Agra (Taj Mahal) and finish in Delhi. Janu Tours made everything to suit our needs, they said "yes" to every reasonable request we made, so we could have a tailored tour for our needs, preferences and time availability. We were only seeking a guided tour, but we ended staying at Janu's Marigold Homestay instead of a major well known and reputed international hotel chain because Janu's Marigold Homestay had such good reviews that we were curious. Reviews were right, a clean, comfortable, spacious hotel room with everything you can expect from a good hotel, at affordable prices. Plus a relaxing roof top to drink a beer or eat something. We were picked up at Jaipur train station by our kind and helpful and patient driver, Jeetu on a comfortable mid-size SUV. We visited Jaipur during one day, and the next we went to Agra and of course the expected Taj Mahal without having to worry about anything, with the respective guides. Finally we were dropped at our hotel in Delhi. We couldn´t have asked for more. Both the Marigold Homestay and the driver also helped with currency exchange (USD, EUR) every time we needed at good exchange rates. The driver even lent us rupees when we ran out of rupees until we had time to exchange currency with him too. I will definitely recommend to anyone I know who plans to go to Jaipur/Agra. A suggestion, would be to ask the tourist if he is interested in seeing the marble workshop and store, before taking him there (not everyone is interested).

Janu, Kamal and Jeetu know exactly how to advise and how to let us make our own plans. Collected from Agra train station to Coral House (real find by them), Taj, onto Ranthambore and then stayed at the Marigold in Jaipur and onto Dehli. Lots of personal support and Mr Jeetu is the best, patient guide and river. Great price. 4th time using them.

Me alojé junto con mi pareja en Marigold Inn en Jaipur y la experiencia fue maravillosa. Imran, conductor de tuk tuk, nos llevó un par de días por ahí por Jaipur, descubriendo esos sitios locales que nunca irías, si no fuera gracias a él. Asimismo, conocimos a Janu y fue muy amable con nosotros. Muy recomendable. I was in Marigold Inn for two days with my parter and the experience was amazing. Imran was our tuk tuk driver for two days and he was very helpful and nice, he took as to that local sites that you would never go if it wouldn’t be for him. We also met Janu, who was very nice and helpful. Very recommended .
