We had a fabulous experience with RajastanTour. Mr Bhagwan was great to work with regarding planning the trip. We had 14 days as a family of four experiencing Rajasthan -including the festival of Holi. Collected in Delhi, we visited Agra, Jaipur, Pushkar, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Amritsar. Our Driver Mr Suwai was fabulous. He was an excellent driver and felt like a family member by the time we departed. We had a range of excellent guides who would meet us at each location. All of them were great quality guides, excellent English speakers and each helped us discover things we never would ourselves. Highly recommend booking with Rajastan Tours for a hassle free and good value experience !

We did a golden triangle tour with a longer stay in Delhi and adding Ranthambore park between Jaipur and Agra. The arrangements for the trip were made by Rajasthan tour by car and driver, based on positive reviews I had seen online. Our final impression is that they are reliable and efficient when you know exactly what you want and remain within the well-known tourist attractions, but are not great in providing alternatives a bit off the beaten track or in giving complete information when several options are possible. The most positive aspects were: our driver, Mehendra Singh was very professional, competent and really nice. He does an excellent job dealing with the difficult conditions on Indian roads, with great patience. Always had water for us after each visit and was ready to stop spontaneously anytime we asked. Thanks Mehendra! 😊 The communication with the company was always easy, they replied very fast to all our emails with various enquiries before the trip, and also to a couple of WhatsApp messages during the trip, The hotel selection was good, with no problems at all with any of the reservations. There were a couple of negative points, though. The main one, they booked 3 private safaris in Ranthambore park for us, and all 3 turned out to be in the „bad sectors“ with very rare tiger sightings. I had no idea when we exchanged emails that there were good and bad sectors which could be booked separately. The park webpage mentions a lotery and I naively believed it. It turns out that the agency knew that no private safaris were available in the areas with good chances of tiger sightings (1-5) and booked the other ones without telling us anything. That, I find unforgivable; it is not only that sectors 6-10 have less animals, arriving to them requires a long and unpleasant drive through a town (or several) which is particularly noisy, dirty and caotic. So that added an hour of driving (both ways) every time, and even 2,5 hours the third safari! Not a nice experience. They could have offered a group safari instead, or give us the choice of replacing Ranthambore by another city or park. That spoiled the whole trip for me, because the safari was the main reason to choose this trip and not another one. I also did not appreciate the reaction when I realized the situation after the first safari and complained, basically telling me it was our fault for not saying that the „good sectors“ were a must. Well, the point of using a local agency is precisely to have access to information which is not in my travel guide and also not in the official park webpage. If one books tiger safaris is obviously to have the best chance of seeing them! Finally, I had the impression that in every hotel we were in what must be the cheapest room category within that hotel (the names of the rooms don’t say much, Deluxe garden view corresponded to a view towards the back not the actual garden). So, they are serious, and the very helpful for moving from one place to the other, have the guide organized, etc, but I would recommend to do very specific requests, especially if you are not following a standard program and have some extra time available like we did. You get indeed what you book, but a better service would require more transparency. Best service is what one expects when booking a private tour with 5 star hotels.

We have visited India many times and travelled by car for most of those trips. I can honestly say that this was the best service. We left it last minute to make arrangements (booking the night before from Delhi) and immediately went to had a five day solution. Sunil picked us up from Jaipur airport and for five days drove us to Bikaner, Osian camel camp, and down to jodhpur. We felt safe every part of the journey and Sunil was kind, helpful and informative. It was also very well priced. Thank you Ram and Sunil for making this part of our trip so easy. As a traveler from the US who has to trust reviews and take some chances with online bookings, there are always risks and rewards. This is especially true when you are not from the country or the region you are visiting, and when you need to just trust that you are going to get what you pay for. In the case of Rajasthan Tour by Car and Driver, it was everything I expected and more. More importantly, our driver Mr. Randhir was professional, punctual and an incredible host during our 5 days in Rajasthan. To start with I reached out to them via email and gave them a general idea of the cities I intended to visit and our specific needs. Through nothing more than a few email interactions with Himani, we were able to lock in a day-by-day itinerary and price for 5 days. To be prudent, I reached out to a couple of other agencies but the trifecta of responsiveness, professionalism and competitive pricing of this firm won me over. Mr. Randhir Singh was at the airport when we arrived in Jaipur and sent us off on our onward journey from Udaipur 5 days later. Not one moment between arrival and departure was stressful and we were taken care of like royalty. As a retired Indian Army veteran, and someone who has been in the hospitality for 20 years since, he was dressed smartly and on time every morning. He spoke perfect English and exuded that professional spirit of the military, enveloped with much care, giving us advice navigating the key sights while protecting us from the typical hassles of aggressive guides and such. I could not sing his praises more and I highly recommend him and this firm.

If you are looking for a driver to tour you through Rajasthan, stop looking, you have found the right agency. We strongly recommend Rajasthan Tour by Car and Driver where we booked from Germany via internet a 2-week journey in a comfortable, new Toyota SUV with English-speaking driver visiting the major tourist sites in Rajasthan. Their office was responsive and flexible, they made suggestions for stops and hotels, they also arranged for local guides and on-site safaris (e.g. desert safari in Jaisalmer). Ram, the owner, is highly responsible and regularly checked with our driver that all was going according to plan. Best of all was our driver, Mahendra Singh, who might have been the Chauffeur of a Maharaja in a former life: totally professional, totally familiar with relevant Rajasthan cities and sights, always on time, polite, flexible, responsible driving, good English, always coming up with suggestions for activities when we had some time to kill, always advising us where we should be mindful of tourist traps and the like. He never put up music unless we requested it. If you ask him, Mahendra will make also suggestions for shops, but will not push for it (e.g. to get commissions). The price for Car and Driver was very reasonable, and payment with the company was transparent in three installments before, at beginning, and at the end of the drive, respectively. Naturally, if you book local tour guides, you cannot expect in-depth coverage as with trained guides, but that is not the companies fault but inherent in this style of traveling. The one exception was our local tour guide in Jaipur, Vishnu, who was outstanding for local tour guide standards. If you go to Jaipur, make sure you get him. To summarize, Rajasthan Tour by Car and Driver, and especially Mahendra, made our journey a very comfortable and mostly enjoyable experience in beautiful Rajasthan.

We just returned from a 2 ½ week tour of India conducted by Rajasthan Tour by Car & Driver and the service was absolutely excellent. We had a group of 18 for the first week, a 3-day India wedding in the middle and then 11 of us continued for another week of touring. Mr. Rom and Bhagwan catered to all of our needs and went above and beyond the call to help all of us have the experience of a life-time. I have nerve damage in my feet and if I needed a wheelchair or advice on touring, they had an answer to make it easy. They chose wonderful daily guides at all cities and each day seems to trump the next in terms of experiences with culture, food, gorgeous accommodations and getting the most of the experience. Coming from the United States and not knowing the culture, we always felt open to ask questions. I could not recommend Rajasthan Tour by Car & Driver more highly for an enjoyable tour of India. Their standards could not be higher.

Tour arranged was customised as per our plan 2 each nights in Jaipur, udaipur , jodhpur and jaisalmer . Mr bhagwan singh ji was very transparent in the inclusions for the tour. I first used this company in 2017 for a 12 day tour from Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaiselmer and Udaipur. I found them excellent with communication and very good value for money. So this year I used them for Delhi-Agra-Rathambore-Jaipur. Excellent comfortable cars and good drivers. We also used them for day tours in Delhi. I found the company to be very clear regarding cost, efficient and transparent. They called me twice during the tour to check that everything was ok. I can't imagine any company in this price range being better. Highly recommended
