Don’t use or book any taxi with this firm if you like good communication and service. I had a confirmed booking with HireMeCar to take me from Goa Airport to Calangute. I made booking with booking.com. No one showed up! We waited an hour. During this time we called HireMeCar 24/7helpline a few dozen times, there was a message that the phone saying the line was occupied, then it would ring and message saying they haven’t picked up the phone. Booking.com didn’t have a phone number to call so I sent a direct message. I finally got through to a person who wanted my booking reference (which was on the phone I was calling him on) they wouldn’t accept my name and booked details (I guess there were lots of people with my name, going to an unusually named apartment in Calangute from Goa airport but I didn’t see any name cards there) demanded my booking reference which I gave twice and told me the driver will be with me in a few minutes and hung up without an explanation. There were no driver details or contact numbers unlike all other Indian car prebook taxi companies. Eventually booking.com called after 55 minutes to tell me the taxi was stuck in traffic and will be with me after 40 minutes. The driver details and contact popped up on the booking.com app. I texted the driver no response. So took an airport taxi to my destination. It’s been 6 hours since my pickup time and HireMeCar still haven’t contacted me to find out why I didn’t use my pre booked and paid for taxi, apologise or offer me my money back. Don’t book with them! Don’t use booking.com either!

I hired a car from HireMeCar to transport four adults from Amritsar to Shimla. I paid approximately £100. The car never arrived at the hotel. At the time we were unable to contact the company or Satydev SINGH to find out where our car was. I did eventually receive profuse apologies from the man, explaining how high he held customer service etc!!!! He promised a full refund of all monies within 8 days. Fortunately I had paid with Paypal. The money was never returned. Paypal took over the investigation to no avail and returned my money. Its a basically a cab service provider for going on touristic places and other nearby areas. Decent services.
