- alessandramP3237BA00Amazing Bombay TourNamaste! We had a great tour with our guide Anthony today. Apart from the many tourist places and sights of Mumbai, he also showed us insights into very special, not so well known places. His basic knowledge of Mumbai is amazing and he is always courteous and responsive to requests. We had the special case of going to a wedding and he helped us find the clothes we needed. The food we ate together was really great and we not only take away great spices from the market visit, but also heartwarming and great memories that we collected together with Anthony. Thank you so much for the time and the experience, my friend!
- David P00Incredible experienceVery insightful and informative tour. Our guide Mukesh grew up and still lives in the slums and was able to talk in great detail about the industry and daily lives of people who live in the residential areas. Mukesh was very friendly and caring and we felt totally at ease during the tour. Thank you so much.
- stevenlJ7620AQ00Phoenix from the flamesBooked this through Getyourguide who seem not to have confirmed the booking with Mystical Mumbai. To cut a long story short, the trip started two and a half hours late. Luckily, our guide (Raj) and driver (Mukdesh) made up for it. They were fun, entertaining and accommodating (whilst doing their job by selling us a few enjoyable extras!). Would definitely recommend them if you want an enjoyable, but not serious, glimpse of Mumbai.
- O5044CPcatherinec00A must do in MumbaiThis was a highlight of our trip. Anthony welcomed us to his home where his family spent the afternoon cooking with us, eating together and giving us lots of information about the history of the area. We cooked a selection of vegetarian dishes and were given local sweets after also. Everything was easy to follow and we will definitely be making them when we return home.
- Paradise1989990582800Mumbai TourAnthony did a wonderful job showing us around Mumbai. He had many interesting facts and insights regarding our stops and also was nice talking to about all the random questions we asked him not related to the tour. :) Thanks Anthony!
- Quest2648357898200Mumbai TourThe tour with Antony was really interesting as he knows a lot about the culture in mumbai. He will show you a lot of different places which are not on the typical touristic tour. I can highly recommend it.

- pernillenbor00Amazing! MUST DO when visiting MumbaiWe had the pleasure of Mukesh on the Bombay by Dawn tour. We can totally recommend taking this tour in the morning, one of our absolute best experiences in Mumbai being a part of the city waking up. Mukesh was good at English, very open, elaborating and shared much about the culture and the local life that went beyond the basic information. He knew so many of the locals and made sure we felt safe the entire time. Just amazing, don’t even think twice about booking this tour. Took many photos but only added a few here. After this tour we decided to book an additional tour with the company and Mukesh to visit Dharavi (“the slum”). Also a huge recommendation to visit there with Mukesh.
- D9859LAryans00Elephant Caves Tour Rocks!Awesome trip! Guides were very knowledgeable about the history and getting us around the area. Would highly recommend for a day trip.
- F5267NLtims00Excellent Jewish Heritage TourFantastic tour. Dev is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Driver was excellent as well. Highly recommend them.

Such a great experience to discover the real face of Dharavi, the way people live, how they work, that every kids go to school, that there is hospital and how active people are. The smiles of people will stay in our mind and we are really thankful for all the precious informations that our very nice guide Ragesh told us. He took time to explain us everything. Thank you to Shailesh for letting us visit his beautiful house and his warm welcome to all of us.

We were given a guided tour by Rakesh who was so amazing! Really knowledgable about the area and seemed to be friends with a lot of the locals. We got to see more than the other bigger tours going in and out of shops and businesses to learn about the different trades. Would highly recommend!

It was an eye-opening and fascinating experience to walk through the streets of Dharavi and to learn about the people, neighborhoods and the thriving industries/businesses within Dharavi. This self contained community is full of life and is a must see. Nikesh was my guide and he was knowledgeable since he also lives in Dharavi which made the experience much more authentic.

Hello everyone! I will tell You about our journey through the Dharavi slums. We were able to go there on 20.10.19. We agreed with providers about convenient time for us. Exactly at the appoint time we were met at the hotel by car and taken to the place of the starting. Our tour was in english. We very simply understood each other.
First we were able to see the famous local open-air laundry where daily the Dhobi caste do laundry.
Then we went directly into the slums. We were shown the unhealthy plastic recycling process, the local bakery and other slums crafts. None of locals asked us for money! I will stop to describe, those who dare necessarily see for themselves.
General impressions.
Solid five for prividers! Do not doubt You will get out of Your zone of comfort. Some facts can be shocking and beyond belief. For example, hygiene and nutrition. I saw that even in the slums very very slowly but the digital age is coming. You can meet people with cheap mobile phones on it’s streets. Undoubtedly they are progressing. Of course we were taken out of the slums and driven back to ohr hotel)
Tips.
You need to respect the local rules and listen to the Guide! Please, if You are asked not to make photos You do not need to experiment to create problems for Yourself and the Guide. Where You can - You will be allowed. People are happy there - watch for correctness of Your statements! Always listen to the Guide. Do not be lazy to buy rubber/rain boots that will not be sorry to leave there, it is hard to find it in India.
Thanks for the tour to MysticalMumbai!
This is a sad priceless experience that will remain for the life term!
Sincerest regards,
Eydelzon Pavel

Hi, how long does the tour take? We have a 5 hour stop over in Mumbai this Saturday. Can we fit it in?
ManadoJeremy

The tour is two hours - better to ask ViaTor- the problem is the traffic get to and from the starting point- do you have flights to catch? So when it says the tour is 2 hours- it is correct it is 2 hours from the beginning of the walking tour to when the tour ends- then your transport will talk you back to where you need to go.
