Raj’s experience, knowledge and hospitality made my 1st India trip special. He is very well connected, fluent in several languages and an authority in India’s rich culture and history. We met in his hometown, Khajuraho, where he introduced me to his lovely family, His mother made us chai and shared some of her delicious cooking. His father is a local guru and made a pooja for me. The whole experience was so authentic and heartfelt. I’m very grateful. After that Raj facilitated several things during my month trip so I was able to enjoy more and worry less. Hello everyone, I met Raj in Khajuraho. Since he speaks almost fluent German and is also a very happy person, we got along well from the beginning. He showed me several waterfalls and parks in the area, which was really great. In addition, we drove on the way back through several very traditional villages on which we had to keep weather conditions. It was a great experience to meet people who almost never see a tourist. Raj is also very flexible and adapts very quickly, at least that is my impression. I can highly recommend Raj! PS. For German speakers it is a must to explore India with him! I have repeatedly travelled with Rajendra (“Deepu”) and it is always such a joy and great experience. He is such a knowledgeable guide, everything is well organized, is tailored to my preferences and totally authentic. This time we explored the surroundings of his home town Khajuraho in more depth. We visited several temples in Khajuraho (make sure to visit also those outside the Western Group of temples!), some small agricultural villages (wonderful just before harvest - the light! the colors!), Panna National Park (such a beautiful park, best to visit morning and afternoon!) and lovely Chitrakoot (by Indian standards it’s not far, about 3 hours from Khajuraho). I love those rides through the countryside (rather than the fast roads), and shorter distances we would go by scooter or motorbike. Rajendra is such a friendly and genuinely welcoming person and will go out of his way to make the journey a wonderful experience. He loves what he does, it’s his passion, not just a job. Thank you Deepu, I will be back.

I've spent full day in Khajuraho with Rajendra as a guide. He has been extremely informative and welcoming. Beside his fascinating temples' explanation, I've got a chance to experience true Indian hospitality by getting introduced to day-to-day life of local community. When strangers become friends… We travelled with Deepu (also called Raj) for two weeks from Delhi to Jaipur, Agra, Orchha, Khajuraho to Varanasi. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Deepu is fluent in German, he is perfect in organizing everything and has a huge knowledge of the history of India. He is the perfect example of „going the extra mile „. I found Deepu through a friend of a friend. He was absolutely amazing. He has such a sweet nature and is a genuine caring person. His English was very good and knowledge of the city and transportation was great. Having the opportunity to be one on one allowed us to become friends. He has an infectious laugh! Our tour was specialized seeing as I had already been out in Delhi. I got to do a lot of great shopping in chandni Chowk, eat delicious food, have great chai all over. Deepu will be the first person I contact on my next trip!! I would recommend him to everyone!

In 2017, I, my fiancé and in-laws visited Khajuraho. There, Mr. Rajendra Dwivedi, a young and charming friend we got to know through Couch Surfing, taught us Yoga and meditation in the beautiful garden around the Kamasutra Temple. I had the opportunity to do my 200 hours yoga training in Rishikesh India in June of 2016. Mr. Raj Deepu met me at the airport and took me to Rishikesh.
