About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Journeyman4140 contributionsBeatles , yoga and amazing food!We had an amazing day with Balwinder. Over 2 days we explored the famous Beatles ashram in Rishikesh, did yoga, joined the Ganges river prayer and even had local delicious. It was a unforgettable tour of Haridwar and the colourful Devi temple as well. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with 2 free days in Delhi.Written September 14, 2024
- Inspire305800557500 contributions6 days of paradise in KashmirWe had a memorable experience of kashmir with Five senses tours. They had delighted us with Ladakh earlier and so we booked Kashmir as well. Nissar was brilliant and warm and hospitable. He ensured we had a taste of genuine kashmir hospitality. We saw incredible gardens, landscapes , glaciers and had rides on ponies and gondolas. The company had yaken care of our flight from Delhi, hotels, car and guide. This tour had left us with a lifetime of memories.Written September 5, 2024

- li0ntraveler0 contributionsBusiness Trip Detour - Worth It!The tour was amazing and the team catered the day to my scheduling and interests. I was a little uneasy about being a solo, female traveler but 5 Senses and Vivek were able to erase all of those concerns by picking me up directly at the hotel and ensuring safe spaces throughout the day. The Taj Mahal experience was incredible with Rajul as our local guide, sharing exactly the right amount of information about the history and the local area. Vivek insisted on a photographer, which I wasn’t super happy about as I hate being in pictures, but he knew better and was totally right that they were needed to really capture the moment. We also visited a local artisan shop where they shared the amazing history of their craft and family. Be careful if you have extra time to shop, it could get dangerous in here will all of their beautiful items for purchase :). We had a wonderful local lunch and went on to Fort Agra which was the perfect way to close out the story of the Taj Mahal and the local history. I definitely recommend enduring the longer car ride from Delhi to Agra if you have the free day and have never seen the Taj Mahal. It’s worth it!Written August 28, 2024
- Roving042159081400 contributionsCharming Old DelhiMy second tour with Five senses tours was equally fascinating. We did a tour of Old Delhi which is steeped in history. The local food stalls were amazing. The Mughal period monuments were fascinating specimens of architecture. The company had arranged pick and drop and send a clean car. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour t every visitor to Delhi ro appreciate its true heritage.Written August 18, 2024

Five senses tours had sent a lovely and clean SUV and an incredible guide who made this tour memorable. We also saw the majestic Agra Fort. Lunch was included as well. This was a dream come true and a top quality tour. I would highly recommend this company.Written August 18, 2024

- AKB12390 contributionsFantastic Experience in Rajasthan with Five SensesWe had an absolutely splendid time on this Palaces of Rajasthan tour with Five Senses. Being rather relaxed travellers, the specially curated itinerary which wasn't too hectic and allowed us ample time to wind down and visit sites at our own pace worked perfectly. Several attractions and activities included on the tour were quite 'off-the-map', which really set the whole experience apart from those offered by other operators. Our guide and cultural ambassador Balwinder did a fantastic job, going above and beyond at every step, giving us some great local recommendations, and always keeping us engaged and enthused. I would highly vouch for anyone considering this tour to go for it without hesitation.Written January 8, 2024
- sandyas20220 contributionsGreat slice of RajasthanWe went as a family to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. In our group we had 3 senior citizens and 2 kids(one below 10). The trip was arranged wonderfully with accommodations and guided tours all taken care of without having us to worry about a thing. The one star that was cut was only due to the dessert safari which was a bit of a let down. We feel a little research could have gone into the dessert camp company. The company that had been arranged did not meet our expectations at all. We were looking for something more classy and unique where as what this company offered was way below our expectations. But apart from that the rest of the trip was seamless. Logistics, travel, guides all planned and executed to perfection. Our next India trip, we will use Five Senses for sure.Written January 2, 2024
- Samj68p0 contributionsOutstanding architecture and sculpturesIt was an amazing 3 days of exploring medieval temples. Some of the temples had sculptures of the famous book kamasutra. The carvings were exquisite. Our guide Anurag was brilliant and made this tour very memorable. I would highly recommend this.Written September 19, 2023
- clarkb8300 contributionsGet a glimpse of Hindu culture rarely seenTremendous experience, thanks largely to Balwinder and 5senses. The guide cleared the way through crowds and I always felt safe. Few tourists visit these towns (in august) but I believe that will change. The hilltop temple in Haridwar has dirty floors and requires visitors to be barefoot but the experience is worth it. Balwinder was able to get tickets to bypass the queue for the tram. I enjoyed being in nature for the Beatles ashram, despite a brief rainstorm. The evening aarti and experience of witnessing the pilgrims performing their traditions in the Ganga impacted me a great deal. The food and staff at the hotel were terrific, especially the pandit and yoga instructor. Wear orange to fit in if you’d like to.Written August 15, 2023

My friend and I booked a 3 day trip to Jaipur with 5 Senses. The itinerary included the Amber Fort, City Palace, observatory and many more stops along the way. Our guide was very informative and was always happy to answer our questions. He was also a great photographer and knew all the great spots to take a picture. Our driver Balwinder was also great. He was so accommodating as we had a list of shopping venues.

I travelled with my 79 year old mother. Starting off with Amritsar, moving on to Delhi, Agra and then winding up in Jaipur.
The schedule was organized impeccably - tiring, without being exhausting. The Golden Temple and the Wagah Border are spectacles that we enjoyed immensely.
The Qutub Minar is a wonderful sight, and I wish we'd spent more time there. Humayun's Tomb was a bit underwhelming, in retrospect.
The piece de resistance of the trip in undoubtedly the Taj Mahal. No amount of hype can prepare you for the sight that greets you. I was left agape for most of the 2 hours I spent there. I can't wait to go back for another sighting on a moonlit night.
Both the Agra fort Fatehpur Sikhi are beautiful as well. We visited them either side of the Taj Mahal, and they complimented each other pretty well.
On to Jaipur - the Amer fort is spectacular. Just the sheer scale and the opulence are breathtaking. While I found the the Jal Mahal and the Hawa Mahal quite avoidable, there's the totally unheralded Step Well near the fort which is quite brilliant. I was also left wondering why the Jantar mantar hasn't been declared another wonder of the world. It is fabulous!
The only crib I might have is the quality of guides. While these have all the factual information at their disposal, I quite missed having one with an ability to weave good stories. Surely there can't be a dearth of stories while going through sights dating back centuries! :)
5 senses planned the trip extremely well and we were shepherded expertly by the always-smiling, tireless Balwinder.
