About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- smjsmjsmj20170 contributionsSunrise Taj is the only way!Our guide, Ankush, was great! Perfect itinerary and adapted well to what our group wanted to do and how much time we had. It is a must to see the Taj at sunrise — don’t do it any other way.Written February 6, 2025
- 464arashe0 contributionsOvernight to Taj Mahal from DelhiA perfect tour from start to finish. Ankush made it easy from the hotel pick up in Delhi to drop off the next way. Agra was great with many sites to see. Our group enjoyed everything.Written February 5, 2025
- Timothy C0 contributionsDon’t hesitate - if you are thinking India - reach out!Booking from the US to such a foreign land is daunting. Europe and the more familiar Asian counties (such as Japan or Thailand) have a track record that makes planning easier. India is vast - so what to do an how to get around is a mystery. Arum made the booking very flexible and tailored our guided tours to our interests. We spent three days going into the wild to see exotic animals in their natural habitat- and still got to sleep in 5 star accommodations and sightsee and shop. There is simply no way you could do this on your own as an America - nor would you want to juggle all the little details to make this work. That juggling was handled by Arum behind the scenes and Ali - who was a personal driver who saw to us from the moment we arrived to the airport through each zig and zag in our moments of planned and unplanned fun. Whether stopping at a local lassi shop (SO FRESH) or getting blankets to stay warm while in a truck for an early am trip stalking tiger - Ali was on it for 7 days. You would think that a personalized guided tour for a week with a driver would be expensive but the price and value were incredible. I couldn’t recommend this more.Written November 30, 2024
- Cynthia S0 contributionsAwesome trip!!Our tour was truly remarkable! The tour agent was highly responsive and consistently checked in with us throughout the trip. We opted for the package with 5-star hotels included, and the accommodations were exactly as described. The package made trip planning effortless, taking care of all the logistics—sightseeing, accommodations, transportation, and more. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves and decide where to eat for lunch and dinner. The guides were knowledgeable and accommodating. While they did suggest shopping stops, none of them were overly pushy. There was one instance of an unexpected shopping trip, but that was partly on us for not double-checking the route set by the guide. That aside, our guide for the Taj Mahal was exceptional! He took amazing photos of us and was very receptive to our requests. The highlight of our trip, however, was having Mr. Ali as our driver. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and reliable. Always punctual, he kept the car spotless and stocked with snacks and water, which he thoughtfully provided. Mr. Ali ensured we reached all our activities on time and communicated any requests to the guide and tour agent for smooth schedule adjustments. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!Written November 29, 2024
- TheRidders0 contributionsAn Amazing Trip - Personal, Professional and Well OrganisedThis was our first trip to India and we booked the 5* hotel option for this tour. All I can say is that it was well worth it in so many ways. On Day 1 of the trip, we were pleased to find that we had a private tour to look forward to, just the two of us along with a dedicated driver, Akhtar (Ali), for the duration of the whole trip in a good sized SUV, which meant our bags were looked after at all times and moved with us on all parts of the trip. For each leg of the trip, the tour guides who joined us were all enthusiastic, knowledgeable and made the trips informative and interesting. Ahktar is an amazing person, courteous, respectful and an extremely safe driver and it was a pleasure to be in his company during the long journeys between cities. He provided plenty of insightful information on places and things we saw along the way. He always remained calm, stuck to the speed limits, always used his indicators and kept his car in spotlessly clean at all times!! He was there to help us with whatever we needed (we fell ill on the Agra leg and Akhtar bought fruit and rehydration powder for us!) and did everything he could to ensure we were comfortable. Arun (from Agra Trip HQ) constantly checked in with us via WhatsApp to make sure we arrived and left each of the planned trips on schedule and also ensured the local guides were updated with any specific requirements we had - this gave a massive personal touch to the trip which was made all the better by having additional flexibility to see other things, which we did in Jaipur (elephant sanctuary and the local gemstone stores). Also, with hotels not being booked by the tour operator until 4-5 days before the start of the trip, we missed out on one of the hotels we selected (so were allocated a 4* hotel) but Arun more than made up for this by adding lunches and dinners as well as paid entry fees to the other parts of the tour that were not not originally included. All I can say is that this trip delivered more than we expected and is highly recommended if the Golden Triangle is on your list of things to do. If there was a '6' rating option for this review, I would give it. Thank you Arun and especially Akhtar, for making this a trip to remember!Written November 19, 2024

- jueljewel0 contributionsGolden Triangle w/ RanthamboreThe golden triangle tour was the perfect way to experience northern India’s history, culture and architectural wonders in just4 5 days. The pace was very fast but the downtime during the drive between locations allowed for extra rest. I feel I had a rich experience in Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. The guides at each location were very friendly and knowledgeable. What made the trip so enjoyable was the seamless transportation as our amazing driver stayed with us from city to city, always providing breaks and cold water bottles when we needed them most. Thank you, Ali.Written April 4, 2024

- Bladen450 contributionsExcellent trip to see major sites in IndiaThis was our first international family trip and it was a good one. The hotels we stayed in were top notch, especially Le Meridien in Jaipur. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and their English was good. You will spend quite a bit of time on the road during this trip. It's good because you will see India from a different perspective but the downside is that you won't be able to enjoy the hotel amenities as much.Written December 21, 2023
- GlennNaughton0 contributionsGolden triangle amd VaranasiWe recently embarked on a mesmerizing trip to India, and it exceeded all expectations. From the bustling streets of Delhi to the serene waters of Varanasi, every moment was an adventure. The rich tapestry of India's culture unfolded before my eyes as I explored historic landmarks like the Taj Mahal and experienced vibrant local festivities. The diverse cuisine was a culinary delight, tantalizing my taste buds with flavors I'll never forget. The warmth and hospitality of the locals added an extra layer of charm to my journey. Our knowledgeable guides navigated us seamlessly through the country, ensuring we didn't miss any hidden gems. Mr Ali was especially accommadating and always smiled when asked a question. India's beauty is unparalleled, and this trip was a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. If you seek a travel experience that engages all your senses, India is the destination, and this trip with Agra trip was an unforgettable odyssey.Written November 24, 2023

- johntunla0 contributionsHighlights done quickly!A great trip if you are short on time and trying to cram as much in as possible. The hotels were my main worry but they turned out to be the best I’ve stayed at on my trip. Raza the driver is much more than just a driver, he was a legend. Sunil in Dehli was a delight, and should really be registered as a photographer, he has the eye, and was flexible is doing whatever I wanted to do for the day. Liman was great, and although I was taken to a carpet factory they knew no meant no. Varun in Jaipur was great too, once I said I didn’t want to shop he was understanding and made sure that I had a great time. It’s a lot of time spent in a car, but the hassle saved by doing it on my own was worth it. FYI I normally HATE tours, but this was perfect way to see the sights without getting hassled too much. The only let down was the tiger trip, I understand that you are not guaranteed to see tigers, but getting told to be ready for 6am then not getting picked up until 7 was a bit annoying, but hey, it’s India innit!Written November 9, 2023

A friend and I enjoyed the trip. The itinerary was good and we didn't need to put in much effort. We were impressed by our guide. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He took the time to explain the sights in great detail. Our driver got us to our destinations safely, but was not always prompt. Overall it was a good experience that covered major attractions in this part of India.

Would recommend to a savvy traveler who wants to see India. Not for the unseasoned traveler. Besides the driver, there was a second local tour guide her every day showing us the sights of that city.
