They amended the itinerary following my requests. We visited a National Park where we spotted tigers, Prayaraj, Varanasi, Khajuraho, Agra, Mathura, Jaipur and Delhi. Amazing trip. The driver, Mr Rajendra was the best driver I have had in India. He drives safely, he has a deep knowlege of his country, interesting conversations and advices, and he has a huge hearts. From the moment Sunil Kumar of Deejohn Holidays contacted me to make final arrangements before the trip, to my experience in India, everything went perfect. Driver Sumit took me everywhere, and was a very interesting guide in himself. The tour guides (Mahendra in Jaipur, Mayank Sharma in Agra, the guide in Delhi, and the drivers for the Safari) were all amazing, interesting, and very professional. Our day started out great when we were greeted early in the morning in a nice clean SUV with a wonderful driver Mr. Smith and our guide Manoj. Manuj did a wonderful job at having our train tickets booked and getting us safely to the train station and on the express train. We were very grateful to have such excellent support getting to the station and onto the train.
The express train arrive safely in agra and again we had an excellent driver and a very nice guy who met us at the train station.
Our guide, Shanti was very experienced and had been doing these tours for 31 years. Shanti had many amazing and detailed stories about the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort And the Baby Taj. His broken English was often difficult to understand and we had to work very hard to follow what he was saying at times.
We really felt like we were with someone who promised us VIP treatment.
When we entered the experience at the Taj Mahal and went through the first gate, The first view of the Taj Mahal was breathtaking!
It was even more amazing that it was built more than 350 years ago.
It was clear as we were visiting the Taj Mahal that Shanti had many connections having done this to her for 31 years. When we enter the Taj Mahal however,we got a “very bad taste in our mouth”.
Inside the Mausoleum the “guards”for the dead bodies were very aggressive about us “donating money”, after one donation they gave us a “VIP” demonstration. The demonstration included a flashlight on the marble and gemstone decorations inside the Mausoleum as if the moon was shining through. Then demanding more money.
Our trusted guide, Shanti just left us to the “guards”. As we witnessed other groups getting the same translucent experience as part of their tour.
At the end of the tour of the Taj the gate he led us to was locked and we were unable to get out. We walked further on a less common opening in a gate,where Shanti paid to get out, after several people were soliciting us for way overpriced items.
After giving tours for 31 years he clearly was aware of what he was doing.
We were truly set-up.The rest of the day was difficult as were weren’t sure who we could trust.
When I questioned Shanti on why he would treat us in such a way, he interrupted and talked over me as he had earlier in the day.
We spent an extra long time at lunch, as we didn’t not feel safe or comfortable, but we had the rest of the day, until our 5pm train.
Manoj, was a welcome face in Delhi and he and Mr.Smith were incredibly gracious and delivered us safely to our hotel, and had safely stored our luggage for the day..

I'm a solo traveler and was pressed for time on this short trip. My tour guide was Mehfooz. He was amazing!!! Very knowledgeable, excellent communicator and fun tour guide. Took me to the best spots at the Taj Mahal and I learned a lot. The tour was well put together. Safety was top notched, great lunch and overall one of the best tours. I have now completed 6 of 7 world wonders. This one will be one of my most memorable!!!!

Was a nice overview of Taj Mahaj and Agra. The car with AC made a big difference. My guide, Neeraj Gupta was quite knowledgeable. Overall a pleasant day in Agra.
