- Adventure005352381970 contributionsAuthentic Indian Home cookingWe had an amazing experience at Preeti's private traditional Indian cooking class! We learned to make daal, rice, chapati, chicken curry, chai, and bindi, all under her expert guidance. Preeti and her husband were incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The flavors were authentic, and the warmth they showed made the evening truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to dive into the heart of Indian cuisine. Thank you, Preeti!Written September 2, 2024

- 507jaidenj0 contributionsExcellent cooking class!Had a great time at this cooking class! We cooked a variety of dishes all of which were delicious. As a vegan it has been a bit tricky in India to describe dietary requirements but the class was tailored to facilitate this. Run by a lovely family who welcomed me into their home. I’d highly recommend this class as it taught me a lot about Indian food! The entire family spoke excellent English so I was able to ask a lot of questions about food and culture. Do yourself a favour!Written June 18, 2024
- P3017OPemmab0 contributionsSolo female travelling for cooking courseAbsolutely fantastic cooking course. I was welcomed into the home of Petti and her husband and had the kitchen to ourselves. We cooked very traditionally, 5 dishes. Both veg and meat options as I eat anything, however it can be tailored to you. Thank you so much for explaining everything so easily as cooking is not my strong point! I enjoyed every moment!Written June 12, 2024
- Quest591319825160 contributionsGood experienceVery nice experience, lovely to be in an Indian home and the family was so nice! It was really good food, and we got to do everything ourselves, they took us to a market afterwards to buy some spices if we wanted! Overall very good!Written May 9, 2024

- 665sonjaa0 contributionsGreat introduction to Indian cooking!Preeti and her husband welcomed me into their home for this cooking class. Over three hours I learned how to make Masala tea, yellow lentil curry, Okra, Shani Paneer, cumin rice, roti and semolina halva. Preeti is a great instructor, patiently explaining every step of the way. In the end, when I had trouble calling an Uber, Preetis husband even took me to the main road on his motorbike. Would highly recommend booking a cooking class here. The only thing to note, is that it’s close to the airport and if you’re staying in the center of Delhi, around an hour by car outside of the center.Written April 3, 2024

Preeti and Sonu welcomed us into their home with enthusiasm and a sincere desire to teach. After several hours, we had made and shared so many DELICIOUS dishes. Conversation came easy and we had an ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS time. Grateful to them for increasing my knowledge of and palate for Indian food! ❤️

My husband and I were in India for 3 weeks and we were so lucky to spend our last day with Preeti and her family. It was a marvelous experience to spend hours with a family in their home. We learned how to make 8 different Indian items and Preeti was able to accomodate our vegetarian needs as well as my own celiac issues. She taught us everything from chai masala to veg pakora, palak paneer, wheat/corn chapati and other items. They are a very engaging couple with excellent English. Their little daughter was adorable and we spent hours together. Her husband met us at the Uber drop off, and then walked us around the neighborhood at the end to see the vegetable market and then kindly waited with us for the Uber home. We felt well taken care of. And then Preeti e-mailed all the recipes and assured me she would help over WhatsApp if I ever needed it. 5 star day!

Me, my wife and our two small kids had a wonderful cooking class. The experience lasted 3-4hours. We were welcomed at a warm home, talking a bit and getting known each other. Then we started to create the food, which was:
1, Yellow Lentils (Dal)
2, Bindi (Okra)
3, Roti (Indian bread)
4, Cumin Rice
5, Suji Halwa
We were asked before the class, what we want to cook. Even vegan options were possible. They have different solutions for any ingredients.
When we started to cook, everything was pretty well prepared! Each stage of the class was in a smooth speed, so we could listen and learn. Finally we made almost everything ourselves. The kids were very well integrated and loved the experience. Our son was allowed to play in the living room. He even got some toys to play.
The best moment, of course, was to eat the food. It was delicious!
We definitely recommend this class 100%. Very professional, very warm hearted, very delicious!

Great experience in a local neighbourhood. Preeti and her family were very welcoming from the start. They explained each dishes we would be making in a very simple way. Preeti showed us the spices and explained each one, we learned how to made traditional chai, we cooked different dishes, and we even learned how to make the bread (roti). We ate together and went on to discover the market!
Preeti’s husband walked us all the time way to the metro station. We can’t thank them enough for this experience.

This was really the kind of class we were looking for. We learned the basic principles of North-Indian cuisine, which not only allows us to make the dishes from the class, but it also gives us an idea on how to start making other North-Indian dishes. Everything was explained very clear and we could really get some hands-on experience, which will definitely help us remember everything. We also loved the warm welcome, the hospitality and the help in finding the right metro. Would definitely recommend!

We had a perfect cooking experience with Preeti & Sonu. They showed us how to make 3 different dishes, rice, roti & a dessert in their own house. We could ask all our questions, could laugh together and had lunch in the end.

Preeti hosted my wife, friend and me to her home for a comprehensive vegetarian cooking class. It lasted about 4 hours and covered a bunch of dishes. She was incredibly gracious and patient with us. Her husband also helped us too. If you want to learn about real Indian cooking, and do so in a truly authentic environment, look no further than her service! You’ll get to experience beautiful Indian culture from a local family in a true Delhi neighborhood.

This is called a vegetarian cooking class then it mentions chicken curry in the description. We don't want to cook with meat at all. Is that possible?
