Simply loved cycling in Old Delhi on our first morning in Delhi, we started quite early and Anchit was very helpful since the beginning of the tour. Saw the really side of Old Delhi while the sun was still rising, we had an incredible experience despite of heat in Delhi. Would highly recommend this tour to everybody coming to Delhi as the experience was very raw and real. Thanks Anchit and Irshad for the lovely experience

    Fabulous Old Delhi Tour
The booking process is easy and you get picked up at your hotel at 5:30am for a 6am start in old Delhi. Typically there are 10 -12 people in the group, led by 2 guides. All the bikes are new and easy to ride. The 3 hour cycle through old Delhi is fantastic, you could not do this by yourself, as you would never find your way out! As the morning progresses,. the lane ways get more busy, but still the cycling is easy. Well recommended way to see the real Delhi.

Incredible cycling city tour for real adventure travellers
By far my favourite tour from my travels through India! You literally cycle the city through dawn (less scary than it sounds), and sample fresh bread, navigate the spice and morning flower markets, drink masala chai and get a crash course in Delhi history. Absolutely brilliant! One not to miss in Delhi.

    Must do activity!
The thought of doing a bike tour in Delhi sounds so daunting...but this experience wasn't at all! It was so much fun, and felt safe throughout! The stops throughout and the history told, were things I would not of seen/learnt had I of been on my own going around the city. Definitely a must do activity when in Delhi!

    Really recommend!
This is such a fun and unique way to see old Delhi, an area that is hard to see on your own. It sounds like a crazy idea but the guys have planned the route well and in the morning the traffic isn’t too bad. You learn a lot and taste some good food too!

Fun private bike ride for 2 - gives glimpse of delhi life
Fun and interesting early morning ride. We are 50+ competent occasional recreational riders. Saw authentic bread makers, hard working Sikh volunteers feeding the masses, architecture, history, pigeon racing all in old Delhi. Would highly recommend. Guide was fun and informative and kept us engaged with his questions.

Really interesting insight into Old Delhi
We had a really wonderful experience with Anchit. We went to some very special and interesting places that we would never have found or known about on our own. We got close to people's daily activities and Anchit explained these to us so we could understand what was going on. He really made the city come alive in a way that would not have happened without this tour. We were especially moved by our visit to the Sikh temple and witnessing the amazing charitable activity going on there. Thank you so much Anchit. If we ever return to Delhi we will come back for another tour to learn more about your incredible diverse city.

    Highly recommended!
An excellent tour, I've been on a lot and this totally stands out from the crowd! It's definitely not the crappy overview kind of tour where the host has a cheesy script and half the details aren't true - Anchit is the opposite of that! It was like having a very knowledgeable friend showing you around. He went out of his way to make it very personalized, and even made some impromptu stops along the way when he spotted something neat. He made an effort to get to know us and what we would be interested in so he could highlight accordingly. Also, he goes out of his way to avoid places where tourists will be swarming, and he knows many layers of detail about the history and importance of each place. Anchit was so conscientious about arriving early and being prepared, and extremely helpful with everything. He even looked up which exit door I should take from the metro station! And he was very safety conscious when guiding us along the streets as the traffic started getting busy toward the end of our tour. He was like a human shield to us! Anchit is a very nice person - humble and accommodating. This is not the kind of tour where you feel pressured to buy things at shops -in fact, there's no shopping on the tour at all! Just really unique info and experiences where you can truly see behind the scenes of Old Delhi.

A great way to see Old Delhi
What an unique experience!!! The guides at Spin Monkey were friendly and professional along with giving a great explanation of the city as we went along. We watched the city come to life as the sun rose stopping at the bakery, a Sikh temple, the community kitchen and the Old Spice Market. The rooftop Masala Chai tea stop was probably my favourite thing! Special mention to Gaurav for keeping us safe whilst cycling the crazy busy streets! A must do whilst in Delhi!

great time with Delhi early in the morning
great time with Spin Monkey on bikes for early biking along Old Delhi. Amazing stories to be told, great places to be seen. Our guides took great care of us especially when crossing big junctions (everyone knows how indian road look like) and changed the route a bit when they got to know that once place was aready seen by us.

    Crazy Good Fun!
I highly recommend these guys - one of the best tours I did on a recent trip to India - and I did quite a few. Anchit & team were awesome! It was an early start (6:15 am) but worth it as you see Old Delhi awaken and by the time you finish (10:30 am) the place is bustling with life. I was at first a bit wary of cycling in Old Delhi traffic but it was fine and really enjoyed it - just wish I had a louder bell to compete with those beeping horns all around!! Honestly, though - it is very safe - nothing to worry about.

Unique perspective of the city from a bicycle in the early morning
Very interesting tour. The tour guide was engaging and patient. We saw the crumbling remains of the Old Delhi town wall, a bread bakery tucked back into an alley, a Sikh temple, and the chili pepper district. We finished with breakfast at a sweets shop. The guide did a great job of explaining history and pointing out interesting facts at each of the locations. We took the morning bicycle tour, which started early but ended up being a great time of day for this type of tour. We could see the city coming to life as we progressed through the morning, and the traffic wasn't nearly as crazy as it would be later in the day. The bicycling wasn't very rigorous, so suitable for most anyone. We're very happy we did this tour – it was a highlight of our trip!

I am back in California after an 8-day trip to Delhi and I am still starry-eyed and dreamy from the unforgettable memories/images I have accrued from this spectacular city thanks to SpinMonkey and his entire crew. I came in to this tour highly recommended by my friend’s family and it far exceeded anything I could have imagined. Although I sadly didn’t get a chance to go on the cycling tour (it was cancelled b/c of the rain but I’ll be back to try it one day!), I went on a private old Delhi food tour with Anchit and a private tour of new Delhi with Gaurav. I also booked a day trip to the Taj with them and Rohan was my fantastic, trusty guide. Not only are all three guides extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their city, but they are personable, funny, and it feels like you’re hanging out with a good friend. You won't want the tour to end! The structure of the tours are designed to strike the perfect balance between the careful curation of historical, must-see Delhi spots like the Sikh temple and spice market while also tailoring the tour to your own interests (e.g. go feed the monkeys!). Communication with Anchit pre and post arrival was superb and, as a young woman traveling the city alone, Anchit made me feel well taken care of and safe throughout my excursions. He was always checking in and making sure I arrived safely to my destination even, for example, going as far as communicating with my uber driver when I was unsure about where I was or where my drop-off destination was supposed to be. In short, these guides will go above and beyond for you. Whether it’s your first time in Delhi like me, or you’ve lived there all of your life, I would highly recommend touring with this company. In fact the only downside to my experience with SpinMonkey is that Anchit did not have any SpinMonkey t-shirts, hoodies, or paraphernalia for sale. Aside from that, thank you SpinMonkey for making my first visit to Delhi a memorable one. You have left an indelible mark on my heart/memory and writing this review makes me miss and long for Delhi to an infinite magnitude. I'm looking forward to the reunion of the heart I left behind in this dreamy, stunning city.

P.S. Look out for Rohan’s bid for prime minister of India in 2050. He’s wise beyond his years and is already taking India by storm!

I have always missed connecting to the Old Delhi charm but after the last night's food walk, I am content.

And thanks to Team Spinmonkey, who were kind enough to include our tour at the last minute.

Thier passion to get us, all the popular Street food that we have requested earlier was commendable and they made sure that we didn't missed any.

Qureshi's mouth watering kababs, Mohd. Hussain's fried chicken (JFC), sharbat-e-mohabbat, Hallem, Nihari, Biryani.... evrything was epic.

And the festive season of Ramzan made it even more special.

🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thank you SpinMonkey from the bottom of my tummy. The overall experience was truly a soulful appetite. 🙂✌️

A must do tour... not just for some of the best street food I've ever tasted but the our guide 'Adil' was a true gentleman. Really knowledgeable about Indian Food and the history of Old Delhi. On a friday evening Old Delhi gets busy, but Adil took great care us and our 10yr Boy. From the Chai Tea and Jalebi's to the Chicken Kebabs and Samosas, you certainly don't need to eat before this tour. Plenty of great food and choice, and Adil ordered to our palates, so can cater for everyone. A great way to feel the real Old Delhi of an evening, seeing the Spice Markets and shopping alleys on route, I couldn't recommend this highly enough...We also booked the cycling tour the following morning, which was an whole new experience again, and well worth the early start to see Delhi waking up.
