- Journeyman4140 contributionsBeatles , yoga and amazing food!We had an amazing day with Balwinder. - Inspire305800557500 contributions6 days of paradise in KashmirWe had a memorable experience of kashmir with Five senses tours. They had delighted us with Ladakh earlier and so we booked Kashmir as well. Nissar was brilliant and warm and hospitable. He ensured we had a taste of genuine kashmir hospitality. We saw incredible gardens, landscapes , glaciers and had rides on ponies and gondolas. The company had yaken care of our flight from Delhi, hotels, car and guide. This tour had left us with a lifetime of memories.Written September 5, 2024

- li0ntraveler0 contributionsBusiness Trip Detour - Worth It!The tour was amazing and the team catered the day to my scheduling and interests. I was a little uneasy about being a solo, female traveler but 5 Senses and Vivek were able to erase all of those concerns by picking me up directly at the hotel and ensuring safe spaces throughout the day. The Taj Mahal experience was incredible with Rajul as our local guide, sharing exactly the right amount of information about the history and the local area. Vivek insisted on a photographer, which I wasn’t super happy about as I hate being in pictures, but he knew better and was totally right that they were needed to really capture the moment. We also visited a local artisan shop where they shared the amazing history of their craft and family. Be careful if you have extra time to shop, it could get dangerous in here will all of their beautiful items for purchase :). We had a wonderful local lunch and went on to Fort Agra which was the perfect way to close out the story of the Taj Mahal and the local history. I definitely recommend enduring the longer car ride from Delhi to Agra if you have the free day and have never seen the Taj Mahal. It’s worth it!Written August 28, 2024
- Roving042159081400 contributionsCharming Old DelhiMy second tour with Five senses tours was equally fascinating. We did a tour of Old Delhi which is steeped in history. The local food stalls were amazing. The Mughal period monuments were fascinating specimens of architecture. The company had arranged pick and drop and send a clean car. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour t every visitor to Delhi ro appreciate its true heritage.Written August 18, 2024

Five senses tours had sent a lovely and clean SUV and an incredible guide who made this tour memorable. We also saw the majestic Agra Fort. Lunch was included as well. This was a dream come true and a top quality tour. I would highly recommend this company.Written August 18, 2024

- AKB12390 contributionsFantastic Experience in Rajasthan with Five SensesWe had an absolutely splendid time on this Palaces of Rajasthan tour with Five Senses. Being rather relaxed travellers, the specially curated itinerary which wasn't too hectic and allowed us ample time to wind down and visit sites at our own pace worked perfectly. Several attractions and activities included on the tour were quite 'off-the-map', which really set the whole experience apart from those offered by other operators. Our guide and cultural ambassador Balwinder did a fantastic job, going above and beyond at every step, giving us some great local recommendations, and always keeping us engaged and enthused. I would highly vouch for anyone considering this tour to go for it without hesitation.Written January 8, 2024
- sandyas20220 contributionsGreat slice of RajasthanWe went as a family to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. In our group we had 3 senior citizens and 2 kids(one below 10). The trip was arranged wonderfully with accommodations and guided tours all taken care of without having us to worry about a thing. The one star that was cut was only due to the dessert safari which was a bit of a let down. We feel a little research could have gone into the dessert camp company. The company that had been arranged did not meet our expectations at all. We were looking for something more classy and unique where as what this company offered was way below our expectations. But apart from that the rest of the trip was seamless. Logistics, travel, guides all planned and executed to perfection. Our next India trip, we will use Five Senses for sure.Written January 2, 2024
- Samj68p0 contributionsOutstanding architecture and sculpturesIt was an amazing 3 days of exploring medieval temples. Some of the temples had sculptures of the famous book kamasutra. We really enjoyed this tour taking in some of Delhi's awesome sights. You'll want to start early to avoid the traffic which gets really heavy in the afternoon and be ready to adapt your itinerary to avoid the traffic as the need arises.
We were picked up at 8:30am from our hotel and went straight to the Qutub Minar complex which also houses the Tomb of Iltutmish and the Iron Pillar. The guide was very informative and added the right amount of information without overloading us. We had previously visited the sight 15 years ago and were pleased to see that the brightly coloured green parrots still nest in the Tomb of Iltutmish which makes great photos. The Iron Pillar is fascinating as it is so pure (98% purity) that it has never rusted and we can't achieve this level of purity with all of our modern technology... how did they do it?
The next stop was at the Humayun Mausoleum which is a striking geometric building in massive grounds. When the water features are working again it will be even more impressive. You are struck by how much space and tranquility there is here outside of all of the maddening street traffic.
The next stop was Aksardham which was simply amazing. Unfortunately, you cannot take a camera inside but this is the highlight of the tour. It's jaw dropping amazing and quite incredible that the ornately hand-carved stone temple has been built without structural steel within five years by 11,000 artisans and volunteers. Simply amazing and you could spend a week here taking it all in.
After Aksardham we were due to see a couple of other sights and India Gate but as the traffic on New Year's Day was something else and after driving by one of the other temples and seeing a massive queue we asked our driver to drop us off near India Gate and we walked through the park which felt like over a million people had come here to celebrate New Year's Day and on to our hotel.
A really enjoyable tour with a driver and guide that allow you to see double what you could do on your own as they know all of the tricks of the trade at each of the sights. Highly recommended.

After taking a day tour of Old Delhi, we decided to do the one of New Delhi as well as we enjoyed it very much, especially with the driver Balwinder. We visited the main monuments and adapted the tour to our needs. The Guide was detailed and precise, making us beautiful photos. In the end we were escorted to the airport. Everything is perfect. Recommendation.

We spent two excellent days exploring Delhi with Balwinder, one of 5 Senses’ excellent cultural ambassadors. At our request the company booked some very special experiences for us—a visit to a traditional “kusti” wrestling school and a “city walk” focusing on services being provided to street children by an NGO called Salaam Baalak Trust and led by a young woman who had benefited from the program since she was abandoned by her parents at age six, and who was now in the running for a scholarship to study in the US. Quite a success story! We also did some “normal” tourism—Qutub Minar and Chandni Chowk. This was our second tour with 5 Senses—in 2020 they hosted us for three weeks in the South. It is a highly recommended operation.
