They had delighted us with Ladakh earlier and so we booked Kashmir as well. Nissar was brilliant and warm and hospitable. He ensured we had a taste of genuine kashmir hospitality. We saw incredible gardens, landscapes , glaciers and had rides on ponies and gondolas. The company had yaken care of our flight from Delhi, hotels, car and guide. This tour had left us with a lifetime of memories.Written September 5, 2024

- Roving042159081400 contributionsCharming Old DelhiMy second tour with Five senses tours was equally fascinating. We did a tour of Old Delhi which is steeped in history. The local food stalls were amazing. The Mughal period monuments were fascinating specimens of architecture. The company had arranged pick and drop and send a clean car. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour t every visitor to Delhi ro appreciate its true heritage.Written August 18, 2024

- AKB12390 contributionsFantastic Experience in Rajasthan with Five SensesWe had an absolutely splendid time on this Palaces of Rajasthan tour with Five Senses. Being rather relaxed travellers, the specially curated itinerary which wasn't too hectic and allowed us ample time to wind down and visit sites at our own pace worked perfectly. Several attractions and activities included on the tour were quite 'off-the-map', which really set the whole experience apart from those offered by other operators. Our guide and cultural ambassador Balwinder did a fantastic job, going above and beyond at every step, giving us some great local recommendations, and always keeping us engaged and enthused. I would highly vouch for anyone considering this tour to go for it without hesitation.Written January 8, 2024
- sandyas20220 contributionsGreat slice of RajasthanWe went as a family to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer. In our group we had 3 senior citizens and 2 kids(one below 10). The trip was arranged wonderfully with accommodations and guided tours all taken care of without having us to worry about a thing. The one star that was cut was only due to the dessert safari which was a bit of a let down. We feel a little research could have gone into the dessert camp company. The company that had been arranged did not meet our expectations at all. We were looking for something more classy and unique where as what this company offered was way below our expectations. But apart from that the rest of the trip was seamless. Logistics, travel, guides all planned and executed to perfection. Our next India trip, we will use Five Senses for sure.Written January 2, 2024
- Samj68p0 contributionsOutstanding architecture and sculpturesIt was an amazing 3 days of exploring medieval temples. Some of the temples had sculptures of the famous book kamasutra. The carvings were exquisite. Our guide Anurag was brilliant and made this tour very memorable. I would highly recommend this.Written September 19, 2023

- clarkb8300 contributionsGet a glimpse of Hindu culture rarely seenTremendous experience, thanks largely to Balwinder and 5senses. The guide cleared the way through crowds and I always felt safe. Few tourists visit these towns (in august) but I believe that will change. The hilltop temple in Haridwar has dirty floors and requires visitors to be barefoot but the experience is worth it. Balwinder was able to get tickets to bypass the queue for the tram. I enjoyed being in nature for the Beatles ashram, despite a brief rainstorm. The evening aarti and experience of witnessing the pilgrims performing their traditions in the Ganga impacted me a great deal. The food and staff at the hotel were terrific, especially the pandit and yoga instructor. Wear orange to fit in if you’d like to.Written August 15, 2023
- terimorris710 contributionsExciting 3 day trip to Jaipur which hits all the beautiful palaces and forts and leaves time for shopping! My friend and I booked a 3 day trip to Jaipur with 5 Senses. The itinerary included the Amber Fort, City Palace, observatory and many more stops along the way. Our guide was very informative and was always happy to answer our questions. He was also a great photographer and knew all the great spots to take a picture. Our driver Balwinder was also great. He was so accommodating as we had a list of shopping venues.Written June 13, 2023
- adamfQ6084FA0 contributionsWeekend Tour of Jodhpur - Big Thumbs Up!Bottom line up front: I am a dedicated Five Senses customer and a big fan! Actually, I should say that I’m a repeat Five Senses customer, as I now rely on them exclusively to help me plan all my travel in India. Most recently, I took a trip to Jodhpur. Now, I’m not the typical foreign tourist. First, I live in India six months out of every twelve, so I’m reasonably comfortable and familiar with things. More importantly, I love Indian food – all of it – from Andhra to Rajasthan to Goa, and everything in between. Next, I’m a huge history buff, and India’s history, its kingdoms and empires, battles and conquests, customs and innovations, are all fascinating to me. However, it’s difficult to find a tour company or a guide who in India who understand how to craft an experience for someone with my particular interests, both historical and gastronomical. I should say it WAS difficult! Until I found Five Senses. All of my trips with 5 Senses have been carefully planned and curated to satisfy not only my historical curiosity, but also my culinary interests. On this trip, the Five Senses staff were experts in navigating around Jodhpur, explaining the significance of everything I saw, from forts to palaces to the stark beauty of the desert, all while making me feel less like a client and more like an old friend with whom they wanted to share their India. In a nutshell – the tour was great, the city was great, the places they took me to eat were great, the guides were great…for what more could one ask?Written March 25, 2023
- JanePeters780 contributionsVisit to the historic KhajurahoWhat a fantastic wonder tucked in the interiors of India! It was a magical 3 days as we visited a dozen temples build in incredible architectural style. It is literally the Kamasutra book etched in stone. The arrangements were impeccable with Five Senses tours arranging a clean and safe car, a highly knowledgeable and patient guide and flights. I would highly recommend this tour without hesitation.Written March 18, 2023
- JanePeters780 contributionsSerene Golden Temple at AmritsarI had a weekend free at Delhi and tried the tour company, Five senses again for my tour of Amritsar. I had heard a lot about the glittering golden temple. In reality, it was truly magnificent and tranquility personified. The kitchen experience was mind-blowing and will leave me with a lifetime of memories. It is a must do if you are around Delhi and have 2 days of free time.Written March 18, 2023

Balwinder, our tour manager and guide made sure we were comfortable from the minute we got in and until we got out after he dropped us back at the hotel. He made sure all our needs were taken care of. He also ensured we covered all highlights of the itinerary. We had a wonderful lunch which everyone in the family enjoyed. Overall, the experience was top notch and I highly recommend this 5 senses tour to anyone who wants to do Agra in a day from Delhi.

The Taj Mahal lived up to its reputation. I had been planning this trip for decades now. Finally I got this opportunity visit Delhi on work. I booked the day trip to Taj run by Five senses tours. Balwinder picked us on time and we left in a comfortable air-conditioned car. The Taj was breadth taking and even more impressive than imagined. The guide was outstanding and made it an enriching experience. We also saw another spectacular monument, the Agra Fort before returning to Dlehi by late evening. Very highly recommended.

Very efficient, prompt and relaxed day trip to Agra from central Delhi. Pickup from hotel and driven straight to Taj Mahal. A relaxed visit with a very knowledgable guide and then on to Agra Fort. Again, a relaxed but well-informed visit followed by a stop for lunch and then back to Delhi. Excellent guide and driver. A really good day!

This was another excellent 5 Senses tour (we have had many with them). Our cultural ambassador and driver was Balwinder Singh, a wonderful guy who we now call a friend.
As we had asked for two nights in Agra in our customized experience, and since there was a full moon, we were able to see the Taj at dawn and in the moonlight. Magical! Don't be lazy and miss the early morning Taj--great light and fewer visitors.
We also visited interesting Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son when he wanted to build a second, black Taj (and bankrupt the state). You can sit at the window where the Shah gazed at his beloved monument during the eight years of his captivity.
In addition to Balwinder, 5 Senses booked a local guide who was knowledgeable and happy to answer our many questions.
Finally, for lunch or dinner we highly recommend Salt Café, near the Radisson where we stayed. The food and service are great, and we ended up eating dinner there both nights.
Homework suggestion: stream the Hindi film Jodha Akbar to watch before or after visiting the Fort to see how the Moghul court looked in its glory.

A long cherished desire was fulfilled when Five Senses Tours organised a guided tour to Taj Mahal. It was a memorable experience with Balwinder making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable journey from Delhi. The Taj Mahal indeed is the greatest romantic monument. The sheer beauty and elegance is mesmerising. Balwinder told us fascinating aspects of the Mughal Empire during which great works of monuments happened. It is a must do in any travel bucket list.
