We had the most wonderful time in Agra because of Perfect Agra Tours! Sunrise at the Taj Mahal was magical and our tour guide Asif was amazing.He made sure to tell us as much as possible about each place we visited and kept us hydrated in the summer heat. The service of Ashish’s team was phenomenal, it was so hot we took multiple breaks to freshen up at the hotel and they still made sure we got to see all the main points of the tour.
Meeting local artists was a wonderful addition to the tour and made a very welcoming experience to see the craftsmanship of India.
I cannot wait to book another action packed tour with them again!

I was visiting Agra with my friend who was visiting India for the first time and wanted to see the Taj Mahal. Based on another friend's recommendation, I reached out to Mr. Ashish who runs Perfect Agra Tours, he customized the itinerary and accommodations as per our needs.
Once we reached Agra, we met this team Mr. Deepak (our driver), and Mr. Asif (our tour guide). Both of them were very helpful and personable, as well as flexible in our needs and also for our requests on changing some plans on the spot, which has been very helpful since we were touring during the June heat! Mr. Asish also took the time to come see us at the hotel to make sure we are taken care of and have a good plan for the two days of our trip.
We had a great time working with our tour guide -- Mr. Asif and visited the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Baby Taj, and local art factories on our 1st day. He has a good sense of humor as well, so we had a great conversation while learning about the history of Agra. Mr. Asif is also a great photographer, which was definitely a bonus for us :).
At one incident near the Agra Fort entrance, there was some confusion between security at the entrance and a few other touring teams, there I could clearly see how other tour guides did not take the situation well. Whereas Mr. Asif navigated it nicely for our comfort and safety. This small event shows how good the 'PERFECT Agra tours' team is and how well Mr. Asish is running his team in order to take care of his clients and show them the best of Agra. I would highly recommend his team if you are planning to visit Agra!

Surjeet was an amazing tour guide for my day in Agra. I had a lot of time and he filled it up nicely with other things to do. He was on time and very knowledgeable and took amazing pictures! Surjeet was very fun to be around during my time so it didn't feel like a structured tour.

Picked up on time from hotel in New Delhi by Anil, who was great and allowed us any stops we wanted along the ride. Met upon arrival to our 5 star hotel with beautiful views of the grounds by tour organizer, Ashish. Ashish spoke great English and introduced us to the tour guide, Asif. Asif was a historian, linguist, photographer, and family man who made us feel safe and answered all our questions. Yes, we were taken to shops to learn the culture and trade of agra but at no point did I feel like I had to buy anything. We did end up getting some of the marble gifts made from the same marble of the Taj Mahal. Probably paid too much but, oh well, part of the experience. Overall 5 stars. Only thing I would change would be more food options for the lunches.

Just came back from my Agra overnight tour with Malikasif and Mushtaq. What an amazing trip.! The sunrise in Taj Mahal just something can’t miss. Really appreciated my tour guide and driver’s company, they looked after me and make sure everything went smoothly. Particular Malikasif took so many good pictures for me, the service just beyond my expectation.

Asif and Shekar made our visit to Agra an absolute breeze. The drive with Shekar was very comfortable and he helped us stop at a great tea place along the way. Once we got to Agra we saw the great sights and Asif was super knowledgeable about all the history and architecture. We also had a great dinner on Asif’s recommendation at Bon Barbeque. Highly recommend this as a way to see Agra.

We took a tour with Agra Perfect Tours in April 2018 with the following general itinerary:
Day 1:
Pickup from airport in Delhi and transfer to Agra.
Meet with local guide in Agra, check in to hotel and transport to dinner location of our choice.
Day 2:
Pick up before dawn to be at the Taj Mahal for sunrise and guided tour of the monument.
Transfer to Fatehpur Sikri and guided tour.
Tour of Agra Fort
Tour of Baby Taj
Transfer back to hotel in Delhi.
Since the monuments themselves will be the same regardless of how you choose to visit them, I will focus on our experience with our driver and guide.
Overall, our experience was excellent. We elected to use the new Innova for our vehicle and our ride was clean, safe, and efficient. Our local guide, Gulshan, was fantastic, easily one of the best tour guides we had during our whole trip in India. The quality of your guide can have a significant impact on your experience, and we were very fortunate to get paired with Gulshan. I am very interested in architecture and history and ask a lot of questions. A LOT of questions. Gulshan was extremely knowledgeable and showed a depth of knowledge, giving us a very high quality experience at all of the sites we visited. There are many instances where he identified minutiae of the sights we visited that would no doubt be overlooked by someone without a guide. One of the great added bonuses we had was that Gulshan is a great photographer – basically all travelers place a high degree of importance on getting that perfect picture, and I am pleased to report that the pictures taken by Gulshan of my girlfriend and I, as well as those taken from the vantage points he identified, were amongst the best in our album from our time in India. He’s a great guy, good sense of humor, and excellent English. We relied on Gulshan to manage our itinerary to make sure we fit everything in. You may want to request him specifically, if that’s an option with the tour operator.
A few other points from my experience that may help you plan your tour:
- See the Taj at sunrise. It is less hot, the lighting is best, and there are fewer people.
- Agra Fort is underappreciated. With the Taj obviously being the jewel in Agra, the Agra Fort has been relegated to also-ran status. Make sure you alot enough time to properly visit this spectacular fort.
- Agra, as a city, is kind of a dump. We took a quick walk outside our hotel (which, to be honest, we were recommended not to do by our guide) and regretted it – we were harassed non-stop by tuk tuk drivers before giving up and heading back to our hotel.
- Fatehpur Sikri is worth a trip, but it takes time to reach and might stretch an otherwise packed day if you are also seeing the Taj, Agra Fort, Baby Taj, etc. You may want to be conscious of your time, or ideally, combo it with a transfer between Jaipur and Agra if you are taking that route. Again, get a guide, since you will miss a lot of the value if you try to explore on your own.
- Prices with Perfect Agra Tours seemed on par with other operators.
- As with any tour, politely decline offers to take you shopping.

Note: This is for the tour only because I booked the hotel separately.
This is a perfect tour for all, especially females traveling solo. I booked this trip based on the positive reviews and they did not disappoint.
Ashish (tour owner) was very responsive when addressing questions prior to my trip and he checked-in a few times during my tour to make sure I was comfortable and the tour was going well.
As a female traveler, I was hesitant driving alone with a stranger for several hours but Uttam was amazing. He was respectful, always on time and made me feel safe. He was also a great driver, very kind and played great music.
My tour guide Asif was excellent. He spoke perfect English and was very knowledgable about all sites visited. He answered all my questions and it was apparent he was a pro in all things Agra. As an added bonus, he took the best pics - angles, views, etc. were all great! My sister actually thought they were from a professional photographer. I visited during Ramadan and Asif was fasting all day. I'm sure it's not easy being a tour guide in 106 degree weather without even being able to sip water. However, you could never tell because Asif was communicative and fun. I also agreed to use a professional photographer and he helped negotiate the price for me. Heard about the carpet and marble vendors so told him in advance I wasn't interested in shopping for that and he did not push. I preferred to shop for Indian bangles instead and spend more time relaxing in the hotel and he accommodated my request. The tour felt like it was customized just for me.
Side note:
There are men claiming to be "professional" photographers upon entering the Taj Mahal. They have packages starting at 50 pictures but you can negotiate for less pics. Asif was able to get me 25 pictures for INR 2,000 but FYI, they only accept cash. While the quality of the pictures were good, the man taking them was not. He was rushing me around and taking pics before I was ready. Many of them I was talking or adjusting my hair/scarf so I probably only ended up with 9 good pics. A real photographer would ensure all of the pics were good before printing. Maybe it was just the guy I had but I suggest if you go with one of these photographers, ask to see the pics after they take them and before they are printed so you know what you're getting. Quite honestly, I though Asif took better pics of me!
The professional photographer is independent of this tour but still thought it would be useful to share.
Regarding Perfect Agra Tours, I highly recommend the overnight tour and both Asif and Uttam - best tour team!

I would like to travel to Agra (collected from hotel in Delhi), via express train from Delhi mid afternoon then collected from Agra train station to hotel, stay overnight then be collected from hotel next morning to Taj Mahal then Red Fort then back to Agra Train Station & back to Delhi. I wish to stay for 2 days in Agra from 2/7 to 4/7/2019. Is it possible to do Private tour overnight in Agra. Arrange for pickup from hotel in Delhi on 2/7 and then stay in Agra hotel for 2 days and back to airport for departure on 4/5 at 11pm. How if I have my own booking hotel but need the transportation and tour guide to visit places in Agra e.g. Taj Mahal etc. What is the difference for the tour package?
