Enquired with Ghum India Ghum back in March, Saurav promptly got in contact to ask what sort of package we were after. Saurav was very accommodating and created us a bespoke package for us which included a shortened Golden Triangle, with a week in Himichal Pradesh (Shimla/Manali/Kasol) including a 2-day trek. On arrival at Delhi we were met by our driver for the trip, Deepak. Before setting off, Deepak informed us that driving in India was an art and not to be alarmed by the driving standards. If driving is an art, then Deepak is Michelangelo. He put us at ease and was great company throughout the two weeks, so thank you Deepak! 🙏 The only blot on our trip was being informed that our 2-day trek had to be cancelled due to the government suddenly enforcing the ban on overnight camping in Kheerganga. Saurav put me in touch with the sub-agency responsible for the trek and we arranged an alternative 2-day itinerary and stay in Tosh village. This probably worked out better as we arguably had our best meals at Himtrek campsite and the two separate walks allowed us to see different valleys and therefore different views. Ghum India Ghum (GIG) has got to be hands down one of the best tour agencies I've traveled with. From the planning stages to the end of the trip, they provided us with fantastic services and were very attentive to our needs. As two ladies traveling from Canada to India, Mr Saurav (the owner) would respond to us during our local time during the planning stages. They also allow for custom itinerary! We felt very safe when we got to India and shootout to Mr. Deepak Singh! He was a very skilled driver who has your back when you need him to help you in any way! He was the MVP of the trip and made us feel like family while we were there. We ended up calling him our big brother as he took care of us while I had medical issues. There was many other guides that took us around throughout the monuments and we wanted to thank them all as they were very educational. Notably, Raj (one of the senior guides) at the Agra was very good at taking pictures and we even took some pointers from him when we ended up going to Baby Taj and in Mumbai, Jeetu, Sajid and Saddam made us laugh and helped end our trip on a high note. I would highly recommend going with GIG and wouldn't hesitate with traveling with them again if I go back to India.

Review Ghum India Ghum Before: When I thought of visiting Golden Triangle India, first thing that came into my mind was who will be the best tour planner (tour agency). I did a bit of research on selecting tour agency. There were too many agencies appeared in google search including Ghum India Ghum. After reading all the reviews and comments by previous travellers and also enquired few other agencies, I decided to go with Ghum India Ghum. Even so, I was kind of reluctant to take their service because we never had any meeting to discuss. All communications were through whatsapp and email only. Although several good reviews I read about them, I was always little worried of how their service is going to be. Mr. Saurav, the person from the first day communicated with me, never disappointed me. He was always ready to provide a service that I wanted. He suggested me the tour plan and also amended the plan according to my request. Since I am from Malaysia, I do not know much about Golden Triangle tour. Hence, he came up with an itinerary that accommodate my dates. He offered me one of the best package and rate compared with other agencies. I request for 4stars hotel, the price that Mr. Saurav quoted me was very reasonable. Although at first, we agreed for 4stars hotel in New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, without me asking him, Mr. Saurav arranged me for 5stars hotels in Agra and Jaipur for the same rate he and I agreed for. When I asked him will there be any additional cost, he replied that no additional cost and his team had planned the best hotels for me. Unlike other agencies, Ghum India Ghum only wants the best for their travelers. All now set to go. During: A day before my parents and I arrive in New Delhi, Mr. Saurav shared his driver details to me. Upon my arrival with my parents at New Delhi, Mr. Saurav had arranged a driver (Mr Suraj) for the whole tour with a very comfort car which is Innova Crysta for three of us. Mr Saurav promised me to give us Innova Crysta before we arrived in India. And again, he impressed us for fulfilling his promise. I must say about the driver, Mr. Suraj. Mr. Suraj is a perfect driver. Passengers must not feel tired or scared while travelling by car, and Mr. Suraj was very careful in making sure we the passengers were happy and safe. He drove us everywhere as stated in the itinerary with full of patience and most importantly very safe. In the interest of the passengers’ safety, he was very concern and drove extremely careful. He never says NO if we request a little time or even to stop on the way to any Point of Interest (temples). He even explained to us about certain places when there is no tour guide. We were assigned three tour guides (Mr. Nick at Delhi, Mr. Yogesh at Agra and Mr. Sandeep at Jaipur). All the tour guides were very competitive and English spoken. They explained to us clearly about all the monuments and places we visited. At New Delhi, Mr. Nick amended the timing of the visits to make us able to visit all the planned places timely. He was very friendly. He suggested one of best place to eat. At Agra, Mr Yogesh made us very comfortable throughout the tour. He took us to very clean and hygienic restaurant to eat. I told Mr Yogesh that I don’t want to waste time just to buy tickets at Taj Mahal. Hence, he agreed to follow us as early as 5.30am to Taj Mahal to avoid the crowd. Mr Yogesh explained to us almost full history about the places we visited. Not only that, he helped us to take some nice pictures wherever we wanted. He asked me to share a picture taken at Taj Mahal for record keeping. I didn’t expect that he would surprise me and parents by giving us a memorable photo frame by Ghum India Ghum (picture taken at Taj Mahal). This again, impressed me about Ghum India Ghum. At Jaipur, Mr Sandeep also did his best to make sure we don’t miss anything that planned. Without hesitance, he took us to many shops for shopping upon our request. Hotels: We stayed at Regent Grand Hotel in New Delhi. At first, we had hot water issue at the hotel. But after contacting the hotel staff and Mr. Saurav, they rectified the issue. Breakfast in the hotel we nice and tasty. We stayed at Hotel Clarks Shiraz in Agra. Food here were extremely good and tasty. Rooms are very clean. The hotel staffs are very friendly. A good choice of hotel for one who wish to stay at Agra. We stayed at WelcomHeritage Traditional Haveli in Jaipur. Best choice of hotel by Mr Saurav. We had wonderful stay here with superb food. We even took dinner at this hotel at a very reasonable price. Hotel room was nice. We were treated with respect and care especially by the hotel staff Ms Mamoni. She assisted us to make us comfort. Places of Interest: We get to visit most of the highly visited places in the Golden Triangle India (Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Delhi) such as Jama Masjid, India Gate, Qutub Minar, Parliament, Old Delhi, Red Fort Agra, Taj Mahal, Hawa mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and many more. We were even taken to some places especially temples (Birla Mandir) and some shops for shopping which were not mentioned in the itinerary. That’s the beauty of Ghum India Ghum which always wanted the best for their customers. Again, the closest person from Ghum India Ghum was Mr. Suraj, the driver. Without him, we would not have visited to all these places safely. He did a great JOB. Ghum India Ghum is a very reasonable, safe and customer centric agency. We got more than what was promised by Ghum India Ghum to us. TRUST ME, it would be a great regret if I did not take their service. I would strongly recommend Ghum India Ghum to my family and friends. Overall, the tour planned by GHUM INDIA GHUM was a great TOP NOTCH.

We were first quite reluctant to choose a tour guide in India from our home country. After a short research on finding a tour agency, we found Ghum India Ghum (GIG). Although there are plenty of good review about GIG, we were still worried of how our experience going to be. But now, we can tell that all those worriness were UNNECESSARY. We had tremendous tour plan by GIG. From the day we started the communication till to date, we were treated with respect. NO DISAPPOINMENT at all. For a traveller, that's really important. We were given spacious vehicle as promised (Innova crysta) for three of us. Its is very important for us to share about the driver, Mr Suraj. Mr Suraj is not merely a driver. He became one of our family. He is a great man with patience, never made us unhappy. He drove us everywhere safe and sound. His driving is more than perfect. Hours of journey, we felt NO TIRED. Mr Suraj is an asset of GIG which every traveller should get like him. The tour plan, we're given, was a perfect one. We never felt wasting time. We were kept occupied throughout the tour. We had a wonderful time sight seeing and enjoyed a variety of delicious food. The hotels were superb, and accomodating for food allergies. Thanks to our wonderful driver Dipak, we felt safe and comfortable the whole trip. The agency was very helpful in helping us plan a surprise proposal as well!

This trip was amazing! The tour guides were knowledgeable and spoke good English, as did our driver, who was very helpful and accommodating. They all helped my (now!) fiancee propose to me at the Taj Mahal, which was so romantic. The hotels they chose were nice, though a more modern one in Jaipur would've been great. I loved seeing and hearing all about the history of the Amber Palace and Fort, as well as the Taj Mahal and Jaipur City Palace!

We had a fantastic time in the 5-day golden triangle tour that we will remember forever. All of the sites we visited were beautiful and the tour guides shared a lot of historical facts as well as helped take some great photos. Our driver Singh was incredible and took us to each destination safely, ensuring we never had any problems while giving great advice on how to best enjoy each place we went to. We stayed at the best 4 and 5 star hotels in the region who gad delicious restaurants that could cater to any needs including allergies, we enjoyed great comfort alongside great adventures. The best experience we had was at the Taj Mahal, where I proposed to my girlfriend who is now my fiance (see photo). Singh went out of his way to help bring flowers and discreetly inform our tour guide of my plan so that we had the best possible place within the world wonder for a proposal and we can't thank them enough for making the experience perfect! If you are planning to visit the Golden Triangle Area, I highly recommend Ghum India Ghum and especially suggest you request Driver Singh to have the best possible experience at a very good price!!

The trip was fantastic, organized down to the smallest detail. The hotels were perfectly suited to my requests and always clean. However, what truly made the trip exceptional was the incredible support from my driver, Deepak. He always provided great advice and met every need, making this journey unforgettable.
