There were some minor problems in the beginning (driver did not show up), however all was solved perfectly and I ended up having a great tour, seeing many parts of Delhi I would otherwise never have visited as a solo traveler. Tour guide was nice and very knowledgeable. If you don't have much time for your Delhi visit, this half day tour (including Red Fort visit) is what I absolutely recommend :)

Three friends and I took this tour, also a lovely couple from Monrovia joined the tour. Our guide, Anshul, met us promptly and after introductions we were off!
We began with a metro ride. A few stops later and we were in Old Delhi. The area was bursting with life. People walking. Bicycles. Rickshaws. Hand trucks. People coming and going, loading and unloading goods. People living life on the streets, cutting hair, getting a shave, sewing clothes, ironing. The colors. The wares. The sheer number of people. The sounds. The horns. The smells. Wow!
Anshul did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the area, as well as what’s current in an interesting and relatable way. He skillfully guided us through the streets, and a few alleys. We went to the Jama Masjid Mosque, a Sikh temple, Kinari Bazaar, and the spice market. Along the way we sampled daulat ki chaat, and had wonderful chaayos. Plus we had a birdseye view over the spice market from a rooftop. Besides the metro ride, we also rode a rickshaw. All-in-all a very enjoyable tour. After the tour concluded, we mentioned that we were going to try and reverse our walking path back to our hotel. Anshul offered to walk back with us and help guide us. His helpfulness was much appreciated.

Old Delhi can be a difficult place to navigate. We are so glad that we had a guide who was able to show us around. Our guide, Isha was fluent in English, confident, and knowledgeable. She showed us all the important sights, carefully navigating through the narrow streets. As part of this tour you will visit multiple religious establishments. Make sure everyone in the group is dressed conservatively.

Our tour guide, Suraj, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. The tour itself was very informative and fun. We got to explore different areas of Old Delhi! I really enjoyed the Spice Market. I felt like I was able to get an authentic experience of India.

I was picked up by Akansha who greeted me & made me feel at home. I enjoyed my first ever ride on metro & Akansha filled me knowledge about culture & history. The visit to Mosque & Gurdwara Sikh Temple was just an amazing experience ! I learnt so much from these holy places & amazed with the architecture. The wedding shops & spice markets were impressive. So many spices ! The food at restraunt was just delicious, yummy. If you like a great tour of Old Delhi then this is the tour ! Thank you Akansha, definitely like to recommend you !

This tour really covers a lot of ground. Our guide was knowledgeable and helped us buy things we spotted along the way. The tour was well organised and informative. We really enjoyed it! The only hard part is it moves quickly through very crowded areas. If you have someone in your party, as we did, who can’t move at quite that pace, it can be a little tough as the guide keeps it moving. But we did enjoy it very much, even the less mobile person in our party. Certainly recommend!

Isha was such an energetic guide, full of useful information and made the tour really interesting! Would recommend for those wanting a look at some of the more traditional and raw places in Delhi. It got busy and hectic at times, great to have someone like Isha who was very calm and organised to guide us through.

I took the 3 hours Old Delhi tour and to my surprise I was the only one, so a private tour which I was very pleased with.
The tour is nicely organised with parts of waking and parts of rickshaw and parts of walk.
My tour guide was a lovely hound lady called Neha and very accommodating too.
You have to pay for rickshaw rides which are each around 20-40 rupees. I didn’t have any cash with me due to change of plans and she was so nice to pay for me and then takes me to the ATM.
She also took photos of me in different spots which was really nice.
We finished the tour in 2.5 hours which I think was just enough length.

Hi,
My flight will land in Delhi at 8:30 in the morning. I am traveling without luggage and I need to catch train for Haridwar on 29th October. Can this tour work for me. Also are they operating on 29 th ,given this a holiday season.
If yes do let me know and I will book the tour. Also should I select pick up and drop or as I am traveling without luggage, I can manage on my own?
Written October 22, 2019
My train is around 3:30 from Delhi station. Any help around this is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

My hotel is in Greater Noida. Is there pickup availability for this area?
Written September 3, 2019
I doubt there are pickup options From greater Noida. You could ask the tour operator. We took an über to the meeting point at United Coffee House. Believe there are metro options to Rajiv Chowk stop which is walking distance from the meeting point for the tour.
Written September 3, 2019
Do you think we would be able to book this tour at short notice on the same day, as we are not sure how long it will take us to get from airport to hotel and finish with representative etc?
Written February 20, 2019
Max you can book the tickets is 3 hours before the tour departure.
Written March 4, 2019
Does this tour include entry to the Jama Masjid or we have to pay for our own tickets to enter?
Written February 18, 2019
Yes Sir Entry to Jama masjid is included and there is no entrance fee to Enter Jama Masjid. However, there is a camera fee of 300 Rs Per Camera Including the mobile one. If you do not wish to take photos, you can leave the cameras with your guide to avoid paying camera tickets.

Hi would this tour be suitable for a 2 year old in a buggy?
Written October 30, 2018
I would suggest it would not be suitable. The pavement in Old Delhi is exceptionally uneven and broken up. There are also numerous steps involved getting to the Mosque. Unless the buggy folds, it's also not going on a rickshaw or Tuk Tuk.

How muck walking is involved I cannot walk fast
Written September 6, 2018
There is quite a bit of walking involved. It's a moderate paced tour, it does get very crowded at times but you should be able to manage.
Written September 7, 2018
I cannot walk fast would this walk be OK how long is the actual walking part of the tour
Written September 6, 2018
It’s quite a lot of walking and most of the streets are uneven but we walked at a pace that suited us all.
