- Edward A00Three day golden triangle tourIt was an amazing three day trip through three cities of the golden triangle with a extremely knowledgeable tour guide and a patient driver who made us feel safe, even in the crazy city traffic. The sites in the tour are all amazing as advertised. The hotels (upgraded) were fantastic and clean with superb breakfast buffets. The people in India are so friendly and helpful. The tours are very detailed and take you on routes off the beaten path. This allows you to see the local areas in a much different way than without a guide. By having a driver you can be dropped off and picked up quickly without the headaches of parking in a congested city setting. They do take you to local craft and artisan shops who educate you on their trade, and even do demonstrations. Some of these businesses have been there for several generations. Of course there is an option to buy at the end which is completely optional. These were three jam packed days with a lot of driving, but it’s amazing how much you see, learn and experience about India that couldn’t be done without an excellent tour guide and a skilled driver. Would 100% recommend this tour.
- U6442SSmarcok00Short Roundtrip IndiaVery good trip, the driver was very good. He always drove carefully and gentle. If i will come back i want the same driver again. :-) But 7 days are a very short time to discover India.
- brendanr66800An unforgettable experienceMy wife and I were visiting India for the first time for a friend’s wedding, and we booked this tour through Viator to get a brief taste of the nearby highlights of India. Given the affordable price tag (for 5-star hotels no-less), we didn’t expect much. These expectations were quickly blown out of the water by an incredible trip thanks to our incredible driver DK Sharma and our 3 local guides, Dilip (Delhi), Mahesh (Agra), and Ashok (Jaipur). DK was incredibly prompt and professional, always arriving early before pick-ups, making sure that we were comfortable with water and snacks, and opening doors (often shielding us from traffic). His driving somehow made us feel safe on the chaotic streets of India. We enjoyed chatting with him on our long drives together between cities, informing us on aspects of Indian life, culture, and politics that we weren’t able to cover during our local tours. He was a highlight of the tour and we would make sure to travel with him again if we return. The three city guides were all fantastic- Dilip, Mahesh, and Ashok were all incredibly knowledgeable and eager to not-only share their knowledge but also engage in conversation to help answer all of the many questions we had. They led us on exploration and made us feel safe along the way. Special shoutout to Mahesh in Agra. All of our guides were fantastic, but he was truly the best we’ve ever had. He was relaxed and flexible, letting us tweak our schedule to our own preferences. His wealth of knowledge was paired with what felt like a PhD in iPhone photography. He even took us out to a night market where he helped us pick some delicious street food that would be safe for our American stomachs. Our visits to Agra fort and the Taj will be lifelong memories thanks to him. If we were to return to the area, we would want him to lead not just our visit in Agra, but our entire trip. One watch-out: as with any tour, you’ll be taken to several overpriced shopping stops that prey on tourists. The one that was easily the worst was “Art India” in Delhi where we were aggressively pitched carpets that miraculously cut their prices in half as we were finally able to tell them ‘no’ and leave. Let your guide know in advance that you aren’t interested in this stop. That said, in Agra, Mahesh was very up-front with us and let us opt-in if we wanted to go to these types of stops. In Jaipur, we were able to quickly leave a gem shop and then visit a block-printing textile shop where we actually had a lot of fun picking materials and buying custom-made clothes that were delivered to our hotel at night. All in all, it was an incredible trip that was worth every penny. We highly recommend.
- Escape3038141436400If you wish to visit India, I believe this tour is a must see. Each guide was very good. I had a separate guide at each area and all were extremely knowledgeable in their subjects. Also good laughs and made feel very welcome. My Driver (Sunil) for the time was outstanding. I was very impressed, and also I booked a separate excursion and I pacifically asked for the same Driver. 10/10
- 130tarun00Very goodThis tour was absolutely amazing. Our driver DK Sharma was second to none. He was extremely pleasant, punctual and went out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. All our guides were knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. Many thanks to Dilip Singh, Ashok Sharma and Raj, and of course DK Sharma, for making our trip so enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour group for anyone visiting India.
- jojo37300Lifetime memoriesThe tour was a fantastic way to see so many sights in comfort with everything arranged for us. It was a lot of travelling and journeys sometimes longer than expected , but that’s Indian traffic! Driver Prem so careful in the chaotic traffic, and tour guides Veejay Prashand and Seema(one of the very few female guides) were great. Hotels were varied- some not quite as 5 star as expected but staff were so courteous. There were some government backed craft centres that we stopped at daily which were not on our written itinerary. Only advice would be to come for longer as we wanted to spend more time in each location!! No tigers this time but everyone else we spoke to had seen them, so just our bad luck. Good excuse to return.
- 717rajus00Amazing Northwest India Tour!!!We just concluded our tour of New Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore National Park and Jaipur. Pacific Classic Tours (PCT) exceeded our expectations by a mile. The level of attention to detail and service that our guide (Mahesh) provided was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced on any of my travels. We were a party of seven from Chicago and our group spanned three generations including my parents and my children. Mahesh ensured all three generations were engaged and entertained throughout the tour. We never felt rushed and he ensured that we received the best possible experience we could possibly have. Our private van was clean, modern and better than any mode of travel I have ever experienced in India. Our driver, Rajinder, was skilled at navigating the Indian roads and made sure that we were safe and comfortable throughout our journey. The van had a cellular hot spot so I was able to connect and work while we were on the road when needed. I know that I'm on vacation but it was wonderful to know that I could effectively connect with the outside world for business from the van. This was the first time we took our children to India and out of all of the destinations that they have been to, they have both proclaimed that India is their favorite destination. Much of the credit goes to Mahesh and PCT. The hotels that were arranged were clean, beautiful and provided top-notch amenities and service. Our favorites were the The Leela in New Delhi and The Tigress near Ranthambore National Park. The food at every hotel was excellent as well as the restaurants that Mahesh chose as we traveled from one place to another. Both of our children have treenut allergies and we have had anxiety about this ever since we started planning the trip. Mahesh was incredibly protective of them and spoke to the chef or manager at every restaurant to ensure we knew what foods the kids should avoid. Also, every restaurant that Mahesh selected on the road seemed to have experience with western travellers so they were well-versed with food allergies in general. This put us at ease immediately and we are thankful for that. At every stop, Mahesh took his time to explain the history and the importance of what we were seeing and he is a master of making history informative and entertaining at the same time and that is no small feat. I have been to New Delhi several times and I saw a side of Delhi that I have never seen. We started our trip by staying at The Leela Hotel in Gurgaon. The Leela is one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed at. We flew in from Chicago and we were famished when we checked in at 2AM. The restaurant was still open and the late night menu was available. If you find yourself in this situation, get the aloo paratha. It comes with a salad and dal makhani that is out of this world. Trust me.... you'll thank me later. The next evening, we went to the Ambiance Mall next door because we were trying get over our jet lag. We had dinner at Daryaganj restaurant. Boy oh boy, this may have been one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. The next morning, we had breakfast at The Leela and it was fantastic. There were plenty of Indian and westiern breakfast items to choose form. We headed out to Qutab Minar and it is a must see and I am happy we had Manesh as our tour guide because we would have missed so much meaning that was hidden in plain sight. All of the intricacies make this site special and it takes someone who is passionate about India's history to make it come alive and Mahesh did just that. After Qutab Minar, we traveled to Agra and we stayed in JayPee Palace which is a vibrant and beautiful hotel. The next morning, we went to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. I highly recommend seeing the Taj Mahal at this time because you have an opportunity to see this magnificent structure transform as the morning sun rises in the sky. Also, you don't have to deal with the crowds. This is where we discovered Mahesh's photography skills. Most of the photos he took are professional quality and our family will cherish them for years to come. The Taj is magical and any photo you have ever seen does not do it justice. We then went to Agra Fort and this is where you start to understand the complex lives that the Mughal kings lived. Agra Fort is a must see if you want to fully understand the complicated love story behind the Taj Mahal. We then travelled to the area near Ranthambore National Park and stayed at The Tigress Hotel. This is high-quality boutique hotel that is picturesque and provides excellent service. The staff is attentive and the rooms are clean and well-appointed. The food was great as well. We went on two safaris at Ranthambore. Not only did we see a tiger... we saw four tigers. We saw a tiger stalk a herd of spotted deer and then watched as he caught one. It was amazing to watch this magnificent animal in its prime. On our second safari, we saw two lions mate and finally, a guide thought he saw a tiger enter a patch of tall grass 10 feet in front of us. We sat 10 feet away from that patch of grass (from the safety of our vehicle) for over 20 minutes and saw nothing. I thought the guide may be mistaken but just as were about to leave, out steps a tiger and walks right past us. It was exhilarating to say the least. We also saw well over a hundred other animals including Sambar Deer, Langur monkeys, crocodiles, Nilgai, kingfishers and numerous other bird species. Our day at Ranthambore will be a day my children will never forget and they will tell their children about the time they stood ten feet away form a wild tiger! We finished our tour in Jaipur. We drove through the busy streets of Jaipur and my kids were able to see how an Indian city has one foot in its rich history as it moves towards a more modern India. Here we saw two forts. The more impressive fort was Amber Palace. The sheer size of the place is staggering. The beauty is stunning and the history oozes from its walls. Mahesh told us stories about the kings, queens and staff that made this palace run. His narrations took us back in time. We concluded our time in Jaipur by visiting Elephant Village where my sons were able to ride, feed and interact with elephants. This was the first time that they were near an elephant and it is a memory that they will never forget. The animals seemed well cared for and the employees seemed to genuinely care for the elephants. My parents enjoyed seeing their grandkids on the elephants so they took an elephant ride themselves. Thank you to PCT and a special thanks to Mahesh and Rajinder for helping my family create memories that will last a lifetime!!!
- francom777777700Wonderful trip, perfectly organizedThe tour was wonderful, everything was well organized, with lovely guides and a good driver. We stayed in nice hotels (5 star option) and the food was also better than expected. The tour went as listed in the description of the day, with enough stops. Personal requests that were not on the daily plan were addressed. You have to know that you spend a lot of time in the car, but that is why you can see so much in a short time. Many thanks to the travel agency for this unforgettable trip.
- Navigate2015089468800Solo Tour to IndiaI had a great time traveling as a solo female traveler throughout India. Each local guide was informative and exceptional. My driver for this tour was exceptional too. He was always on time and made sure I felt comfortable.
- P5174PRdavids005 day golden triangle/ranthambore tourOur 3 guides, Prashant, Vijay and Vijay, for Delhi, Agra and Jaipur we're all very good. They explained all about the history of each destination we visited and that of India in general. Most importantly, our driver Prem was amazing, navigating the crazy roads, with snacks and water and rest stops. He also pointed out a number of buildings along the way when we were without the guides and told us all about Diwali.
- G9651FNsofiab003 day private golden triangle tourGreat tour with our very professional guide Mahesh and driver Shiv. Our guide exceeded our expectations! The minibus we rode was very comfortable and the hotels were great.
- Stay57581700Fantastic 3 days to spend in India!Very professional and experienced team Mahesh and Shiv, took care of us in best way for three full days. Really good program, excellent hotels (5* was almost to luxurious ) . Mahesh is an excellent photographer, so we have a lot of excellent pictures! He knows many trix and secrets that he shared with us together with stories about the country and monuments ... Shiv was really a hero, driving long days!
- Lisa B00Highly recommended for Golden Triangle!A fantastic way to see the golden triangle. Our driver, Mr Gurmeet Singh (Bittu) was an excellent driver who had a spotlessly clean and comfortable car. He went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time! Our guide in Delhi and Agra, Mr. Mahesh was incredibly knowledgeable and catered the tour to our specific interests. Additionally, he is an amazing photographer and knew all the special spots, angles, and secrets so we have photos that are so much better than what we could have done ourselves! Himmat at the step well was so knowledgeable and really provided an amazing tour. In Jaipuir, Ashok showed us the beautiful city and gave us very personalized attention. We felt very fortunate to have such an excellent driver, safe and comfortable vehicle, and outstanding tour guides. We definitely recommend this company and we look forward to using them again on our next visit to India!
- Guidons8900Excellent experience, especially for first-time visitors! As first-time visitors to India, we booked this tour to get a glimpse of Delhi and the surrounding cities of Agra and Jaipur. In each city, the tour guide changed, while the driver, Dk. Sharma, stayed with us for the whole trip. First and foremost, a big compliment and thanks to Dk. Sharma for his excellent driving skills and his ability to seamlessly navigate the traffic in all cities. He made us feel safe during the whole trip and sometimes also pointed out interesting things along the road. The three tour guides, Vijay Chauhan, Shobit, and Dilip Singh, each did an excellent job at explaining the historic sites and also provided additional information about their respective cities. The tour company made sure that it felt like a comprehensive experience and was available if needed. I can highly recommend this tour, especially if you're visiting India for the first time like us.
- Kguidon00Great way of experiencing India for the first timeWe did this tour at the end of October as first-time travelers in India. We had a different guide for each of the days - Dilip Singh (Delhi), Vijay Chauhan (Agra), and Shobit (Jaipur). DK Sharma was our chauffeur throughout the tour and drove us between each city. The guides were all very knowledgeable, courteous, and were able to answer any extra questions we had. Shobit in particular took many good photos for us in Jaipur. The chauffeur DK was also very nice and always pointed out interesting things for us to see along the side of the road. We learnt a lot on this tour and would highly recommend it for an educational, stress-free trip around the Golden Triangle. We would fully trust the tour company for future tours.

Dilip our guide was great. Personable and informative. Our driver Mr Singh worked his way through the Delhi traffic remarkably well. Good mix of six temples with enough time at each to marvel at.

I would give this a one star, but the sites they picked were quite excellent and interesting. The tour guide was more going through the motions and didn't know the answers to a lot of my questions. He was friendly enough but wasn't really all that interested in getting to know me. I mean it's not a requirement to get to know your customers but it does make the experience all that much better when you get to know a local and that local takes an interest in where you're from. The tour guide didn't even introduce himself when I got in the car and I eventually had to ask him his name. At lunch he sat me down and said that he had to take a phone call and that he would meet me in the car later. I took a tour with another company the day before and the guide ate lunch with me. It was one of the best experiences because I could ask him more questions and get to know the culture from a local. I was disappointed that he didn't even want to eat lunch and extend the experience. I also would've appreciate a warning that the tour wouldn't take very long on a Sunday. The traffic was lighter than usual and so the tour ended 6 hours earlier than I expected (at 1 PM instead of 7 PM). I was very unsatisfied I was with the driver (not the tour guide) for this tour. He handed me the customer satisfaction survey at the end of the tour. I was honest with my assessment so I didn't feel comfortable giving it back to the driver or the tour guide until I was out of the car. The rating of "5 very good" was not what I experienced. It wasn't terrible but was more average. I didn't have anything to complain about as far as the driving but nothing was extraordinary about the driving experience either. Therefore, I should have given a "3 average". However, I put a "4 good" because I was feeling generous. After I filled out the survey the driver and I were alone and he asked for me to give him the survey. I did not feel comfortable giving it to him until I got out of the car. He demanded that I give him the survey. I didn't want confrontation so I gave him the survey. He pull it out of the plastic sleeve while driving, which made me feel unsafe, and then said, "4's! Why not 5's. You give me 5's". I told him no and that it was inappropriate for him to be looking at that while he was driving, while I was still in the car and to be pressuring me to give him a better rating. If he had given back the survey I would have given him 0's after that experience. I recommend going through A plus tours. They were much better and way more professional than these guys! These guys are just looking to make a buck, not provide an experience.

We tour Delhi for two full days with this company. Most important: DRIVER (K. K. Sharma) SAFE, PLEASANT AND COMPETENT; he manouvered the insane trafific calmly and effectively. GUIDE: (Ravindra Singh) POLITE, PLEASANT, WELL INFORMED, ELOQUENT, SERVICE MINDED. Answered all our questions which not always pertained to what we viewed but rather to life in India in general. Overall, very good tour. Excellent.
Two suggestions: (1) for two days in a row we were taken to lunch to the same good restaurant. Not an imaginative plan. (2) Out of ignorance, we evidently tipped at the end below the guide's expectations. He left us with a sour face, which affected the way we've felt about the time spent together. As a suggestion, perhaps he could have said something rather than feeling offended and letting this project.
Thanks for a wonderful introduction to Delhi.
