About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- phillipf4750 contributionsTaj Mahal in 1 Day.Trip includes everything. No extra fees or surprises. Taxi from hotel to airport. Air India plane tickets (round trip) BOM-DEL-BOM. Private driver to/return to Agra. Private Taj Mahal tour guide includes all entry fees. Taxi from BOM airport to hotel. Although we flew unescorted, we received detailed instructions on our trip. Drive to/from Agra is more than 3 hours each way. Mr KK was an excellent driver and he spent time with us to explore the Indian culture during the long journey. Great personality and informative. Good job. Taj Mahal guide was Mr Raj. During the long walk around the estate we were presented with a chronological history of the king who built the monument to his wife. He looked after our safety and security during the travel throughout the afternoon. He took us, at our special request, to see original hand made artworks. Tour was excellent. Raj our guide spent more than 5 hours touring together. This is a very special experience. Taj Mahal is a world treasure. This trip far exceeded our expectations. Must go. Warning: Hotel pickup was at 3am, Hotel drop-off was at 3am next morning. I highly recommend this trip, and the driver Mr KK and tour guide Raj.Written December 5, 2024

- K1480GAlauram0 contributionsTaj Mahal at Sunrise - you gotta be happy with that!I scheduled a pick up from the Jaipur airport at 2 am, driver was on time and had signage which was great. Fast trip (relatively) to Agra and we arrived at 6 am. Roci the guide met me at a prearranged hotel lobby and we began the tour at 6:45 am. The Taj Mahal did not disappoint and Roci had some great information to share, he’s also good at getting the right photos at the right time. I was not there for the Instagram shoot but it was clear that 50% of the people visiting were only there for this reason. Lots of options for that around on site (roaming “professional” photographers but Roci also seems very capable in this regard 😂 We also visited Agra Fort which was super to see but the day is long and after this visit I was ready for the drive back to Jaipur. But, as with every tour, it also involved some visits to local handicraft places and I did enjoy this but was pretty clear by the end of the second visit that I was not interested in being sold anything more! Roci definitely understood! The drive back was painfully long midday (almost 6 hours) so I would encourage a stay over in Agra with a drive back the next morning with less traffic.Written November 27, 2024
- Connector209137032170 contributionsGreat trip once in a lifetimeOur guide Rajni Kant was excellent took care of us very well and was very informative regarding the history. - K7030WFtracyb0 contributionsFabulous - memories for a lifetime 🥰I cannot recommend this company highly enough. All aspects of my travel arrangements, pick ups, drivers and tour guides were exemplary. A special mention of Vijay-my guide and Mr Omkar-my driver from Delhi airport to Agra, around Agra and back to the airport. Both of these gentlemen were kind, courteous, thoughtful and extremely knowledgeable. I hope I can retain the wealth of historical information that I’ve learned. In addition, thanks to Vijay, I have the best photos I could have ever wished for and Mr Omkar navigated the crazy traffic perfectly. The Taj Mahal was as incredible as can be imagined as was Agra Fort. The hand embroidery and inlay sessions were enlightening. I don’t have any negative issues to report at all - Thank you, thank you and thank you 🤩Written November 26, 2024

- alexjamesbx0 contributionsBeautiful 6-Day Golden Triangle Tour Full of Culture, History, and Delicious FoodI recently embarked on the 6-Day Golden Triangle Tour to Jaipur and Agra from Delhi with Nikita Holidays, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable travel experiences I’ve ever had. This trip not only covered some of India’s most iconic landmarks but also gave me a taste of its rich culture, fascinating history, and mouthwatering cuisine. Day 1: Departure from Delhi The journey began in Delhi, where I was picked up promptly. The car was clean and comfortable, ensuring a relaxed start to the tour. The drive to Jaipur took a few hours, and along the way, I got to see rural India, with its scenic landscapes and small villages. Day 2: Exploring the Pink City – Jaipur Arriving in Jaipur, I was immediately struck by the city’s vibrant colors and architectural beauty. Known as the “Pink City,” Jaipur is famous for its royal heritage and iconic monuments. The first stop was Amber Fort, which was an absolute highlight. Built on a hill, the fort is a mix of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Walking through its grand courtyards, intricately designed palaces, and mirrored halls felt like stepping back in time. The view from the fort, overlooking the surrounding hills and Maota Lake, was breathtaking. Later, we visited the City Palace, which is still partially a royal residence. The museum inside showcased royal costumes, weaponry, and artifacts that told stories of Jaipur’s glorious past. Another must-see was Hawa Mahal, or the “Palace of Winds.” Its unique façade, with countless small windows designed for royal ladies to watch processions without being seen, was mesmerizing. Food in Jaipur: The food in Jaipur was as unforgettable as its sights. I tried dal baati churma, a traditional Rajasthani dish consisting of lentils, baked wheat dumplings, and a sweet crumbly dessert. Another standout was laal maas, a spicy red meat curry that was rich and flavorful. The sweets, particularly ghewar and mawa kachori, were delightful. In the evening, I explored the bustling bazaars of Jaipur, filled with colorful textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. Shopping here was an experience in itself, and I left with some beautiful souvenirs. Day 3: Jaipur to Agra The journey from Jaipur to Agra was a scenic drive through rural landscapes. On the way, I made a quick stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ghost town, built by Emperor Akbar, is an architectural marvel. The Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world, was particularly impressive. Day 4: The Taj Mahal – A Dream Come True Arriving in Agra, the highlight was, of course, the Taj Mahal. No matter how many photos you’ve seen, nothing prepares you for the beauty of this iconic monument in person. The white marble structure, shimmering in the sunlight, was breathtaking. Learning about its history and the love story behind its construction made the visit even more special. Food in Agra: Agra has its own unique culinary heritage, and I made sure to indulge in local delicacies. The famous petha, a sweet made from ash gourd, is a must-try. I also enjoyed bedai with aloo sabzi for breakfast, a crispy fried bread served with spicy potato curry. Agra’s Mughlai cuisine was another highlight—rich curries, kebabs, and biryanis that were a treat for the taste buds. Day 5: Agra Fort and Local Bazaars The next stop was Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. This massive red sandstone fort was a blend of military strength and architectural beauty. Walking through its grand halls and courtyards, I could imagine the grandeur of the Mughal era. Later, I explored the local bazaars in Agra, known for marble inlay work, carpets, and leather goods. The artisanship here is incredible, and it was fascinating to watch craftsmen at work. Day 6: Return to Delhi After an early morning drive, we returned to Delhi. The tour concluded with a timely drop-off, leaving me with countless memories of this incredible journey. Cultural Highlights of the Tour This tour was more than just sightseeing—it was a deep dive into India’s culture. From the grandeur of Jaipur’s palaces to the serenity of the Taj Mahal, each destination had a unique charm. Interacting with locals, experiencing traditional music and dance, and shopping in vibrant bazaars added a rich layer of cultural immersion. Food and Hospitality The food throughout the trip was unforgettable. Each city had its own culinary specialties, and every meal was a delight. The hospitality of the people, from the hotel staff to the guides, was heartwarming. Conclusion The 6-Day Golden Triangle Tour is perfect for anyone wanting to experience India’s history, culture, and cuisine in a short time. Nikita Holidays planned everything seamlessly, and the memories of this trip will stay with me forever. If you’re considering visiting India, this tour is a must!Written November 25, 2024
- erinsF8148ZK0 contributionsAgra experience.Taj Mahal and Agra Fort plus related experience of marble inlay work and artisan embroidery with purchasing opportunity. So pleased to have visited these sites. Nothing beats seeing them in person. Was all above expectation. Our guide Raj gave a very comprehensive and knowledgeable history which added to the depth of the experience. He took some beautiful photos of us especially at the Taj Mahal as he knows all the best angles and photo shots as he has been there many times before. Find the retail experience very interesting from a historical and artisan perspective but the pressure to purchase can be overwhelming at times. Amazing Indian buffet lunch included. Definitely worth the trip from NZ to see the sights and sounds and people of India:-)Written November 23, 2024

- allisons4800 contributionsGREAT TOUR!We had the most amazing time on this trip. It was fast pace because we arrived by cruise ship with only two nights in Mumbai. But so very worth the effort. Getting to the Tai Mahal at sunrise was beyond words. The colors of the sky bounding off of the Tai was beautiful. And the guide provided so much information about the history of the Taj. Don’t think twice book this one. You will not regret it.Written November 21, 2024
