This is a very inactive, flavorful tour. Great guide, great food, lots of options yo learn more about the food and the culture.
We thoroughly enjoyed the street food tour. We went to many different stalls and had a variety of food from light to heavy, sweet to spicy, and everything in between. Our guide, Dave, was a former chef, so his knowledge of food was extensive. He knew his way around old Delhi and knew the vendors who were making the food. A word of advice: Don't have breakfast or have a very light breakfast, before you go. There was so much to taste and the tastes were often snack sized, so we were stuffed. The driver was also professional and efficient. Our guide and driver worked as a team, so we weren't spending time waiting around. The price was more than we paid for some other tours, but it was worth it. The value was there due to the quality of the tour and the guide.

Arrived in Delhi at 5am, joined the food tour of old Delhi at 10am......best thing ever. A full on delicious intro to the food, heat, traffic and crowds that is old Delhi. Our guide ADI gave us such an amazing insight into this cuisine. Best tour ever.

    Gastronomical indulgence
A wonderful personalised tour tasting some incredible authentic and traditional foods with fascinating commentary by our accompanying chef Aditya. A wonderful way to experience and get to know Old Delhi as we also got to do a rickshaw ride and visit the spice market.

    Very good tour old Delhi
Me and my friend had a Delhi food tour with Aditya. I was very impressed. He took us to some brilliant places we wouldn’t have stopped at otherwise, and we enjoyed some delicious street food. Also had great knowledge of the history of the area, the food and ingredients.

Great tour with a fantastic guide
I've done several food tours in different countries, and this was one of the best. What really made it stand out was having Aditya as my guide. He's a professional chef by training, and you can tell he loves food. We went to some great places I would never have chosen on my own. Also, he's a really cool guy who you can totally connect with. I've done some other tours before, and while the guides were fluent in English, they weren't people I could see myself hanging out with. This was like taking a tour with a friend.

    Educational food tour!
Aditya was a great guide. He educated us on all the various dishes we tried, discussing the profiles of each and how the different flavors complimented each other. I’ve taken many food tours but this one stands out. He followed up too with a list of the dishes we tried. Honestly we were sick of Indian food by this point but that’s because we were ordering the same dishes each time we ate our. Aditya exposed us to new dishes with very different flavor profiles that were different than what we had had and delicious. Thank you Aditya!

Best Guided Shopping and Food Tour Ever!
My husband and I are on a 7 day trip to Delhi for a wedding and wanted to cram as much into our days as possible. We’ve been on 3 all-day tours and have had amazing guides through different agencies. We had a day of shopping at several markets with Shika. I am not exaggerating when I say Shika is by far my most favorite guide of all time even considering trips outside of India. She was at our hotel 15 minutes early to pick us up for our tour. She had the concierge call us in our room to let us know she was in the lobby but to take our time. It was such a great demonstration of how the little things can have a huge impact. The tour continued in a similar vein. At every moment she was considerate and detailed. The itinerary was flawless and we were able to get everything we wanted plus more. I applaud her patience because we were shopping from 10am-4:30pm. She gives great advice for souvenirs and even helps with clothing sizes. I can’t recommend her services highly enough. India is a service oriented country but I didn’t realize how comprehensive it was until our guided tour with Shika. Next time we’re in Delhi, I NEED to go on a food tour with her. Shika’s lunch and dinner recommendations were killer and I’m sure she has more places in her pocket. Summary: you/I/we need this person when coming to Delhi.

Great first day in Delhi, excellent food with a charming guide.
We booked an old town food tour very last minute on our first day in Delhi. Adi was an excellent tour guide and reassuringly understood that although we were willing to be adventurous, we were also slightly anxious about deli belly. This was a great way to be introduced to a new city with such a strong culture. The food we ate was absolutely delicious and I would strongly recommend the tour. Thanks

Not your ordinary food tour 100 🌟
Absolutely incredible… it isn’t just about food for me, although the food was delicious and the information that came with it from our guide, but the place itself. I don’t think you could possibly get the same relaxed feeling if you tried to explore old Dehli alone and I doubt you would go down the streets we did without getting lost and stressed. This tour has everything, a safe way to enjoy Indian street food, the history of the area as well as the food stalls and shops you visit. Trust me when I say feeling relaxed in Old Dehli is not something I imagine many visitors can say, but our guide kept us informed and relaxed the whole time. On top of the 4 hours food in Old Dehli we also visited some famous sights around New Dehli and some delicious food places there too. However the highlight for me really was the Old Dehli part. A real insight and delight for all 5 senses! 100 stars ⭐️

    Lalit Kumar Yadav
We had an outstanding half day tour of Humuyan’s Tomb, India Gate, Iskon Temple and other monuments with Lalit. We had only four hours in Delhi. Nonetheless Lalit delighted us with his knowledge of Indian history and culture. We were tired and needed to modify our tour and Lalit was most helpful.

We had a wonderful afternoon tour of Old Delhi with our amazing guide Ash. He not only showed us many things we just would not have found alone but also gave us an insight into the street food and its history. We tasted many wonderful foods (my personal favourites were the rose water and cardomon lassi and the Kulfi. ) We had the oppostunity to take some great photos of the food and the people. Thanks Ash!

I want to start by saying Ash was great all the way through. A car picked me up at the hotel and from there we met up with Ash. He took me through all the nooks and corners of the city to experience the real life of Delhi. Ate some of the fantastic flavors of the old city. I really enjoyed eating off the beaten bath. We finished the evening with a terrific sunset on the rooftops of the city and then the Red Fort. This night will stay with me for a long time.

My husband and I did the food and photography tour in Old Delhi with Raj.

This tour was a welcome change from the other tours provided by our driving company during our time in the Golden Triangle. You pay the price for the tour upfront and there are no hidden costs along the way, and you know that the agenda is to give you a good experience and not extra commissions for the guide.

Raj knew the streets of Old Delhi well, and seemed to know most of the shopkeepers along the way too. This gave us opportunities to explore and understand many aspects of the neighborhood we wouldn't otherwise get access to. It also gave us a lot of photo opportunities that we wouldn't otherwise feel comfortable getting or be able to communicate enough to get.

The food was yummy and reliable. Neither my husband or I had any stomach issues. The food quantity isn't too much either - we felt like we got a taste of everything without stuffing ourselves (though Raj did offer us seconds everywhere we went - so you could eat more). Raj knows a ton about Indian food, and welcomed questions.

There was more photography instruction than I expected during the tour. I am a beginning photographer and Raj was eager to share his tips and give me feedback about composition, camera functions, etc.

I would recommend this!

We usually explore on our own, but we only had 2 days and no time to do any major research beforehand, so we went with Food Tour in Delhi, as recommended by my work colleague. We've opted for the combined full day Food and Photography Tour.

Rajeev, the owner of the company, and the driver picked us up in an air conditioned van. He asked us what type of photography we were into - we said street/travel photography. He then inspected our cameras, changed some settings, gave a few advices and let us try our first shots to implement what he's just taught us, before we reached the breakfast spot in Old Delhi. It was more than  just a breakfast  - it was a full on tasting without stuffing us- including Cachori, Potato, Bedmi and some great rose water lassi. He talked us the different flavors that you experience while taking your first, second and then third bite. It was truly amazing to notice these different flavors, while eating the same food, but just taking another bite or by combining it with some different food.

We tasted a few more street food stalls, followed by cookies and kulfi (some ice cream) before taking a Rikshaw to the Spice Souk. We had lunch and then visited a flower shop, where people buy flowers for temple offerings – so colorful and beautiful for pictures, we then went up the roof, observed the busy road from a different perspective.  Next, we visited a local temple and entered its communal kitchen where they cook in massive pots and pans on big stoves - everyone there was volunteering, truly unique vibe and experience.

We asked to book another day tour for the following day and luckily enough – Rajeev was able to move some things around and show us around the next day. While the first day was very focused on daily life of Delhi, the second day we wanted to see of the tourist sights – We visited Qutb Minar, Lotus Temple and Humayun's Tomb accompanied by great food from start to finish. We finished off our second day with a Tea Tasting – at this great Tea House, the Owner, Vikram performed the tea tasting for us –very knowledgeable man, and such an interesting, delicious tea tasting experience. We stocked up on the delicious tea for and as some gifts.

Rajeev has done an amazing job in balancing the food and photography element of the tour and we were truly impressed of how much we’ve seen and experienced in only 2 days.Thank you so much for this delicious culinary adventure! We'll be back soon!

On my first day in Delhi I booked a Photo and Food Walking Tour in Old Delhi. It was an incredible experience with a very knowledgeable and patient guide, Jaidev.

On the 4-5 hours private tour we stopped at many food places in the heart of Old Delhi. Far away from touristic places I tried many different traditional Indian dishes - all of them very good! An excellent (and safe) choice of food by the organiser!

Also, we took many pictures in the small alleys of Old Delhi. Jaidev, the guide, was really patient with a not professional photographer like me. He explained in much detail how to take the best pictures and I think we did pretty well (although the light was not the best)!

Thanks again for the amazing tour, Jaidev, and all your great suggestions for the rest of my Indian trip!

I would highly recommend the tour to everybody visiting Delhi.
