About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- keithfW8716LQ0 contributionsMemorable in every wayWhat a well organised trip this was. We booked the 6 day standard tour and added some extras. The amount of time we had to enjoy each part of the itinerary was just right. All our guides were brilliant, they would ensure we managed to escape the crowds and our photos are amazing. Our driver’s were also marvellous, how they navigate the crazy traffic is a sight to behold in itself. Shakul informed us of all plans via WhatsApp and always responded quickly and professionally. Any long drives between cities was broken with a comfort stop. I cannot recommend PCTI enough and the personal service we received was a credit to Shakul.Written February 12, 2025
- kimcE8521PK0 contributionsFamily Fun with Pacific Classic ToursMy family and I took a nine-day tour with Pacific Classic Tours in January before heading to a wedding in Bangalore. It was an amazing experience. We LOVED our tour guide Mahesh. He was quite knowledgeable on all of the places we visited, was flexible in tweaking the schedule as needed, and was a master at identifying and taking the very best pictures! We consider ourselves lucky to have been under his incredible care! Our accommodations were lovely and most welcome after long days of touring. They were absolutely worthy of the five-star ratings, although some required more driving to get to than we might have liked. Our two drivers were quite competent - which is no small feat as driving in India is like nothing we have ever experienced. We also appreciated Shakul and his planning skills both in advance of the trip and as itinerary changes were made. The one thing we would change if we had to do it again is to stay longer in fewer places. We squeezed in more cities than was humanely possible, which resulted in more driving and less touring than was ideal. Bottom line, it was a great trip that we will always remember. Thank you, Pacific Classic for making it possible.Written February 12, 2025
- keithfW8716LQ0 contributionsBeyond expectationsWe have had an amazing experience on our tour of India. Our contact with Shakul was easy and he kept us updated every stage of our tour. The experiences we had were beyond our expectations, spotting tigers and bears on safari, was unexpected and wonderful. What memories we have made. Our drivers and guides were excellent on all legs of the trip, we wanted a private tour, and that is exactly what we got. Pacific Classic Tours India, is a professional and well run company. We would definitely recommend them to others and absolutely use them again. Thank you for making our India dream perfect in every way.Written February 12, 2025
- MaryAnnDorset0 contributionsThe highest quality serviceWe booked our 11 day private tour directly through Pacific Classic Tours India (PCTI). Correspondence with Shakul was excellent, from the initial planning through to the completion of the trip. Our initial driver for 5 days DK Sharma was impeccable, smart, courteous and good fun…and a great driver. All our guides in every city were wonderful too, I forget all their names, they were all knowledgable, interesting and engaging…a big shout out to our guide Mukesh in Agra, his knowledge and photo taking was exceptional and we were lucky to have him during our visit to the Taj Mahal. Our safari in Ranthambore was incredible, we were lucky to be in a small vehicle with just 4 others and were are very happy we saw a tiger. Jaipur, Varanasi and Amritsar, we loved every second of our trip. India is such a diverse country, the culture, people and sights are wonderful. We chose the 4 star hotel option, every hotel was excellent, all very high standards, all with great restaurants. We are so pleased we found Pacific Classic Tours India. I would highly recommend using them the service was faultless.Written February 12, 2025
- Q5883DCstefanp0 contributionsWonderful ExperienceIn January 2025, we embarked on a 5-day tour of the Golden Triangle. We booked the tour without accommodations and selected the hotels ourselves. The tour operator was very helpful and provided feedback when we booked a hotel too far from the tiger reserve. Our driver, Kuldeep, was always friendly and reliable, picking us up from our accommodations and expertly navigating the chaotic traffic in India. The car was always clean, with water and snacks available for us. For the early morning tiger safari, he provided us with warm blankets, as it is very cool in the mornings in January, but pleasantly warm and not too hot in the afternoons. Our guides, Himmat in Delhi, Mahesh in Agra, and Vijey in Jaipur, shared their extensive knowledge of the sights and Indian history with us. In Jaipur, Ashok created a birth horoscope for us, offering fascinating insights into our personalities. We are extremely satisfied and highly recommend this tour and the tour operator.Written February 9, 2025
- kevinfI8206AF0 contributionsExcellent Tour of the Best of JaipurMr Anish was an excellent driver, personable companion and a a respectful host. Anurag, my guide, was extremely knowledgeable and added an additional dimension to my tour of Jaipur. Together they were a great team and made my day trip from Delhi a very memorable and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you, gentlemen.Written February 7, 2025
- 840jeffreyg0 contributionsRanthambore Tiger Safari is a must do!Pacific Classic Tours India has been a pleasure to work with. The experience has been exactly as advertised on Trip Advisor. From the time we booked the trip, several months in advance, Shakul Garg has been very reliable in communicating by WhatsApp all necessary details needed and has been available to advise when plans changed. Our driver and guide, Vipin Sharma was a joy to work with. Very polite, speaks good English and is extremely punctual. He had us in good position for every appointment we had. We took the 5 star hotel option and were pleased with the service, accommodations and food at the Tigress Hotel. Our tours were in an open safari vehicle that holds 20 persons. There are many smaller 6-8 person vehicles out in the park. We would recommend choosing the smaller vehicle option, if Pacific Classic ever makes that option available as part of their package. Our one night package included an evening and a morning, 3+ hour tour. Dress as warmly as you can for the morning safari. We experienced a lot of wild life and saw a tiger during each outing in the national park. We would use Pacific Classic Tours India again without hesitation and recommend them highly.Written February 6, 2025
- AlejandroPost0 contributionsAn Incredible Five-Day Tour Through IndiaThe trip was perfectly organized, and we had an amazing experience, thanks to our fantastic guides, our skilled driver, and the seamless coordination by Shakul. Himmat, Mahesh and Vijey gave us deep insights into the Indian history and culture making the experience of visiting the landmarks and our time in India both educational and entertaining. Our driver, Kuldeep, accompanied us throughout the journey. He ensured our safety on the roads, was always punctual and attentive, and made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout the trip. Unfortunately, in Ranthambore, we didn’t spot any tigers, but the overall experience in the national park was still worthwhile. One of the highlights in Jaipur was meeting Ashok, an astrologer, which was a truly unique experience. We returned with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for India’s rich culture and history. Highly recommended!Written February 2, 2025

- dianee7620 contributionsA great introduction to northern India. This trip met all my expectations. Our driver DK Sharna was wonderful and looked after us really well. The car was clean, comfortable and wifi , charging points and snacks a great bonus. The 3 guides were so knowledgeable and their iPhone photo skills next level. Seeing a tiger at Ranthambore , the highlight.Written January 28, 2025
- lindsayh6940 contributionsExcellent tour even for solo female travellers!I went on this 5 day tour as a solo female traveler and it was excellent. I was respected and felt safe throughout the entire trip. I would recommend. Personal driver: The driver Kuldeep was fantastic - always on time, always had drinks and snacks prepared, drove safely, car was clean and AC’d, and gave me a run through on the itinerary each day. Guides: For the main tour guide, it was spilt up for me depending on which city I was in but Himmat, Ratan, and Anurag all equally did a great job with providing me a debrief of history at each site. Anurag (Jaipur guide) was super helpful getting me a better deal at the gem store as well. Safari: I did not see tigers on this tour. I did see two leopards (among other wildlife). I am not that disappointed as if you want to ensure your chances of seeing a tiger you really need to give yourself more than one day to see them, as nature is nature. I was planning on doing another safari for tigers in south India, which is why I wasn’t too disheartened by not seeing them in Ranthambhore. However, if this is your only shot at seeing them, I’d recommend a tour that includes 3 days of safari. As it’s extremely lucky to see them in one day. Hotels: I went for the 5 star hotel booking option. In terms of stars in India 5 star doesn’t necessarily mean luxury (5 star in India is more like 4 star in USA/UK/Europe). I think if I were to rebook I would book my hotels separately. I didn’t have any problems with any of the accommodation and all hotels were clean and staff and service was excellent. I had more of a problem with atmosphere and food as the hotel I stayed at especially in Ranthambhore, the food was quite bland (probably on purpose for westerners) but I had to eat there two days in a row (breakfast, lunch, dinner and all buffet style but really bland - and really greasy Indian food — I’ve had better Indian cuisine in the UK). On top of this, all hotels didn’t have the relaxing ambiance I would have preferred. So again, if I were to do this tour again I’d book accommodation separately. But everything else was great and if food/atmosphere isn’t big on your travel agenda then the hotel options the tour agency provided are adequate. Luxury hotels I would book for next time: The Lodhi, The Oberoi, Taj All in all - I’d highly recommend this tour!Written January 24, 2025
- ninnikuramen0 contributionsAdventure in Agra!Overall this was a great experience. Coordination and making arrangements with Shakul was simple and easy. Mahesh was our guide, and was hugely knowledgeable and skilled with conveying history in a way that was engaging and interesting for us and our teenage children. He managed the timing of everything very well, we never felt rushed and managed to fit the full itinerary in. He knew all the best angles for photos. Our driver DK was also excellent, navigating the Agra (and Delhi) traffic deftly, with patience, and smooth driving. He showed up on time for pick ups, and added special touches like flowers and snacks in the car. Would definitely recommend!Written January 22, 2025
- sandracX1553KT0 contributionsVery good tourOur driver was for the entire trip was amazing - very sweet, helpful, and accommodating. Each of the guides in the different cities were very nice and knowledgeable. Some of the non-monument visits felt a little touristy.. The trip coordinator sent the detailed itinerary ahead of time, which was very helpful with what to expect. They were also flexible with our preference to start in Jaipur rather than Delhi. Hotels were generally very good. Always clean and conveniently located. The hotel in Agra (the JP) was exceptional. As two women traveling alone, we always felt very safe.Written January 20, 2025
- Venture089629545220 contributionsGolden Triangle + RanthamboreOverall a very solid tour with no major hiccups or issues. Our driver Prem was lovely, spoke very good English, and was very helpful. The tour itself was very standard - it seems most tour groups follow the same routes, make the same stops, etc. At stops where there were “demonstrations” (textile, jewelry, marble inlay) there was definitely pressure to purchase although we were told there wouldn’t be, but I am sure you would experience this on any tour in this region. I would recommend this tour if you are looking for reliability and to see the major sites and areas. Perhaps look elsewhere if you want a more “off-the-beaten path” experience, but we were satisfied and felt we got what we asked for! Leading up to the tour, the company was very responsive and helpful in making any adjustments we requested.Written January 20, 2025

We just completed a GREAT three-day Golden Triangle tour of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. First, I have to say our driver, Prem, must have gotten his amazing driving skills in another world! He navigated the most difficult roads and situations with ease, making sure we were comfortable and safe the whole time. When visiting a new place, this is so important! He also pointed out a lot of sites and gave us additional points on Indian cultural, all is great English. The daily tour guides did an excellent job too. Each one had an incredible amount of historical, cultural, and societal knowledge and was happy to share with us. It’s was a fast trip, but we saw and learned a lot. I highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing a slice on Indian life and learning about Indian culture.

Such an incredible tour! Mahesh was a terrific tour guide who was knowledgable, kind, and funny. We truly got the maximum experience out of just a few days. I highly recommend this tour because Mahesh knows exactly which sites to see and you are able to skip long lines.
He also caters the tour based on what sites you want to see and what shops you are interested in checking out. In addition to the incredible historical sites, he took us to some local art stores, which we appreciated.
Mahesh truly knows so much information. He gave so many fun facts that you wouldn’t learn on your own or by just searching the internet. He provided so much information in a fun way (ask him about Aabra aka Daabra at Taj Mahal).
Mahesh was so nice and accommodating throughout the trip. We asked to be picked up later one day and he was very flexible. We also lost a charger and he went out of our way to stop at a stop to ensure we had what we needed. He always made sure we were comfortable and was always willing to make any stops that were needed.
I also want to thank our driver for being so safe and efficient through busy northern Indian roads. He handled the traffic beautifully and we felt incredibly safe. We did upgrade to the large van (for 4 tall people). We also recommend this because we got to be comfortable for several long rides.
This was truly a tour of a lifetime and we are so thankful for Mahesh!

Our tour with Mahesh as guide and DK as driver was absolutely amazing and would definitely recommend. We toured Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur with great comfort in a wonderful air conditioned spacious vehicle. We were even offered Wi-Fi during our rides. I always felt very well cared for - being provided chilled water and even an umbrella at each stop as we were dealing with very high outdoor temperatures in late May. We saw so many sights in a short, well organized tour. Mahesh had so much knowledge to convey at each place and was able to answer our many questions. He also knew how to pose us for fantastic photo memories. DK was an expert driver making us feel safe even in crazy traffic situations in various places unlike anything I’ve ever seen before coming from America. If you plan on visiting the Golden Triangle I would definitely 100% recommend PCTI and especially Mahesh and DK.

As first-time visitors to India, we booked this tour to get a glimpse of Delhi and the surrounding cities of Agra and Jaipur.
In each city, the tour guide changed, while the driver, Dk. Sharma, stayed with us for the whole trip. First and foremost, a big compliment and thanks to Dk. Sharma for his excellent driving skills and his ability to seamlessly navigate the traffic in all cities. He made us feel safe during the whole trip and sometimes also pointed out interesting things along the road.
The three tour guides, Vijay Chauhan, Shobit, and Dilip Singh, each did an excellent job at explaining the historic sites and also provided additional information about their respective cities. The tour company made sure that it felt like a comprehensive experience and was available if needed.
I can highly recommend this tour, especially if you're visiting India for the first time like us.

After a hectic few days at a wedding it was lovely to be taken care of by this tour.
We felt in safe hands with our lovely driver Mr Hari Babu who calmly got us to where we needed to be and made sure we had all we needed.
The tour felt seamless and well organised, it was lovely to be greeted at our hotels after long drives. The hotels themselves were of a great standard and we were very comfortable.
I’m extremely grateful to each of our guides. Every one of them showed a high level of professionalism, were extremely knowledgable, and their photo taking skills were much appreciated!
The one small downside to the tours is that you get taken to artisan salesmen who give the hard sell for their goods. This part of the tour is not listed on the agenda and so it took us a bit by surprise (and perhaps felt a bit sneaky?). Being taken shopping is not necessarily a bad thing, but I think it would be better if they were open about it, or at least gave you the option if you wanted to do it. Hearing about the artisan’s work was very interesting but the hard sell afterwards felt uncomfortable at times. I think this may be down to a cultural difference - as brits we were perhaps too polite, which led us into some sales pitches that we didn’t want! So if you’re not in the mood for buying, my advice is to not worry about being rude and just firmly decline.
This isn’t a major complaint and we still enjoyed and appreciated the tour immensely, I would definitely recommend to those wanting a tour of the golden triangle.

It was an amazing three day trip through three cities of the golden triangle with a extremely knowledgeable tour guide and a patient driver who made us feel safe, even in the crazy city traffic.
The sites in the tour are all amazing as advertised. The hotels (upgraded) were fantastic and clean with superb breakfast buffets. The people in India are so friendly and helpful.
The tours are very detailed and take you on routes off the beaten path. This allows you to see the local areas in a much different way than without a guide. By having a driver you can be dropped off and picked up quickly without the headaches of parking in a congested city setting.
They do take you to local craft and artisan shops who educate you on their trade, and even do demonstrations. Some of these businesses have been there for several generations. Of course there is an option to buy at the end which is completely optional.
These were three jam packed days with a lot of driving, but it’s amazing how much you see, learn and experience about India that couldn’t be done without an excellent tour guide and a skilled driver.
Would 100% recommend this tour.

These were three jam packed days with a lot of driving, but it’s amazing how much you see, learn and experience about India that couldn’t be done without an excellent tour guide and a skilled driver.
Would 100% recommend this tour.

Very expensive tour, horrible experience - mainly a tour of „local merchants“ and sexist tourguides.

We were shocked by this experience.
What we expected considering the price of this tour: An enjoyable private tour with the chance to see many incredible sights in a short time, while staying at top hotels.
What you get with this tour: A different tour guide every day, who is mainly interested in a big tip, stopping by as many „local merchants“ as possible (even if explicitly not desired by us to visit any stores) and bad lunch spots with exorbitant prices and very bad quality.
This is a tour, where tour guides try to make as many of their „local merchant“ and restaurant owner friends happy.
Furthermore, we were a woman and a man traveler and we were both equally shocked by the sexist demeanor of two of the three tour guides. One of them even insulted the woman in our group, as did some spice merchants after realizing we were not interested in buying large quantities of spices.
We were, however, very pleased with our driver (Mr DK)!

I’m traveling solo after a business trip in Gurugram and I’m so glad I booked this tour! The driver, Prem, handled the crowded streets like an expert and offered cold water and A/C. Each of the tour guides (Tomar, Mahesh, and Ashok) happily answered questions and shared their knowledge about the sights. They made things go very smoothly, from skipping long lines, to taking tons of pictures, to reminding me to wear bug spray at the Taj Mahal. The 5 star hotels were nice and had good food and service. I wasn’t sure what “twin share” meant in the description of the tour, but I was pleased to have my own room with a queen/king bed both nights. It’s great getting to see the work of the local craftsmen but it’s also hard not to buy something. I’ll be arriving home to a bunch of souvenirs shipped straight to my door!

Clear, prompt communication before and during trip; particularly clear about pick up, drop off and flight times etc. Smooth collection at airport. Flexible regarding timing.
Excellent driver Vishan deftly navigated the hectic city roads and motorways alike which made for comfortable travel.
Engaging, knowledgable guides in each city, Dilip, Ajay and Ashok, knew staff at the various attractions, smoothing quick entry without queues and waiting. Good commentary at sites striking a balance between background and details and guides were good at pointing out ideal spots for photos. Guides proactively took into account weather conditions regarding optimum times to visit where possible and Ashok was especially knowledgeable, dynamic, adaptable and fun.
In all three cities I visited very high quality local craft workshops with no sales pressure. The quality of some of the work was truly astonishing. Guides ensured we visited only high quality restaurants, ensuring communication of dietary requirements.
I felt inspired to come back in future to explore more!

Great tour. Loved every bit. Mahesh was a fantastic tour guide. And Prem a fantastic driver. Mahesh knew how to save time at monuments that had long lines some times, which gave more time to explore elsewhere.
I felt safe and well taken care of the entire time. Would highly recommend. My only warnings is be ready to spend some money at the stores they bring you to or be ready to say no to tough salespeople!

Do we make reservations at the hotel or do you? If we arrive a day before the tour begins, could you make an additional night reservation, of course we would pay for the extra night.

Hi thinking of doing the tour in January does the accomodation include separate rooms as I am travelling with my brother.
Also found it difficult to find a contact point what happens if we are in India and need to contact you?
Written August 5, 2019
If you need 02 single rooms for 02 travelers than there is extra supplement charge and if you take 01 twin bed room for 02 travelers than there is no supplement charge.
Once you book the tour after that i will inform you the supplement charge which you can pay us after your arrival in India.
After your tour is booked you will receive the voucher in which the contact details are mentioned.

I can arrive at Delhi or Jaipur on Thursday. Is there any tour on Thursday?
Written July 13, 2019
I have the impression that these tours run all the time. You pick a start date, and the tour company will accommodate. They have multiple drivers and tour guides for each city. The one thing India does not lack, is a big pool of labor.
