The magnificent monument officially opened in 2005, and is situated on the banks of the Yamuna river in the eastern face of the city. Explore the alluring beauty of this majestic monument as your guide unfolds the legends and stories connected with the temple. Admire the temple's complex style of architecture which consists of 234 ornately carved pillars, 9 domes and more than 20,000 statues of various Hindu sages, saints, and acharyas (teachers). Finally, it’s time to witness the spectacular musical fountain show which depicts the cycle of birth, life, and death as mentioned in Indian mythology. The 15-minute fountain show is called, “Cycle of Life” and takes place as the sunsets. After the show, walk back to Akshardham Metro station where your tour concludes.

      Family holiday India
The tour was planned with the assistance of the team of Gets Travel and played out like clockworks. we were taken card of the moment we reach our first destination at Jaipur being picked up by and dropped of with a representative from their office. from Jaipur we went to New Delhi then to Kashmir. at every point we were being monitored and the whole tour went on as clockwork. with this we had one of the best memories of India and its heritage. I am normally very critical but in this case, nothing really to say but great work and thank you for everything.

      Stress free Golden Triangle Tour
Our tour of India was amazing! We got to see do many impressive monuments and sites throughout the Golden Triangle. If we go back to India again, we would definitely book with Gets. All of our drivers and tour guides were very knowledgeable and professional, which made the tours stress free for us. Anu and Biswas were incredibly responsive and checked in with us regularly. They even helped us change hotels during thr trip and coordinate the change with our driver. We were very impressed with how GeTS managed our trip and would definitely book with them again!

      Excellent service
Nishant arranged the travel to Shimla for our family including for my aged mother. He followed up with the planning for around 2-3 months and helped us with a detailed itinerary. He also made adjustments to the hotel and plans on sight seeing based on our requirements. We had a very comfortable and well planned trip and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will surely come back to GeTS Holidays and specifically Nishant for future trips as well.

Agra & Rajastan, Northern India in 10 days
We booked our recent trip to India through GETS Holidays, via our travel agent in Australia. The whole team at GETS were wonderful, especially Anu S. who was patient and helpful in the planning stages, suggesting an itinerary for us and recommending hotels for us to chose from. Once we were in India, Debasish B. was our point of contact throughout the tour, always available for questions, and checking in with us to make sure everything was going well. The tour was incredibly well planned, and everything ran like clockwork and we had no issues. We had a lovely driver, Gudu, for our 10 days, and then met with very friendly and well-informed guides in each city. The guides really made it more interesting to be able to talk to people who were local, and had a great knowledgle of their local history and culture and were happy to answer all our curious questions. Without a guide, we would have missed so much. Visiting the Taj Mahal was obviously a highlight for us, but our favorite cities were Jodhpur and Udaipur. Our accommodation was wonderful - particularly staying in a traditional Haveli in Jaipur, and also the beautiful garden setting of our accommodation in Jodhpur. This was our first trip to India and we would definitely recommend GETS to our friends

Tour of spectacular Himachal in Nov 2024
We (two of my friends and myself) booked a 9 day tour of the spectacular Himachal with GeTS Holidays with the wonderful Ms. Anu Seth as our tour coordinator in November 2024. We we were traveling from Sri Lanka and the tour package had to be catered to accommodate our specific requirements of being in Manali on a specific date. This process was made very easy by Anu and her team and we barely had any issues with this. We arrived in Delhi and was taken care of from the pickup at the airport to drop off and checking in at the first hotel in Delhi. Our tour package was traveling through Shimla, Manali and Chandigarh. The tour was with a chauffeur and a comfortable vehicle considering we were traveling for 8/9 hours between destinations. Our chauffeur Vikram was a decent, well mannered person with a pleasant demeanor which made the hours of driving through unknown places tolerable and enjoyable. Our hotel checkin and check out processes were super hassle free and the 4 out of the 5 rooms we stayed in throughout the trip were extremely nice and met expectations. Although there was an unpleasant experience with one of the rooms (the first room), the team at GeTS Holidays made every effort to rectify this and the rest of our tour was extremely pleasant. All in all this tour was a great success and made even better with the effort and commitment of Anu and Azhar in making it all hassle free, enjoyable and memorable. I will highly recommend GeTS Holidays to people I know who are interested in traveling to India and having these trips organized in a safe and comfortable way.

      Customized temple tour
Ms Anu and Mr Debasish were very helpful in coming up with a customized iternary based on what I had requested. The accommodations and trip were well planned. They were also open to suggestions and exercised flexibility. As I was on a solo trip, they ensured that I had a responsible driver. They often checked in on me to ensure that the trip was proceeding smoothly. They ascertained that I had a knowledge guide at 3 of my destinations to give me a detailed exploration of the places. I also had an interesting trekking experience. Like to commend both of them for planning the trip well.

      23 Day Cultural/Wildlife Tour
My husband and I recently completed a 23-day trip in India organised by Deepak from Gets Holidays. We covered a lot of ground, visiting four Wildlife Parks (Panna, Bandhavgarh, Kasha and Peach) and the cultural cities of Agra, Mumbai, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaipur.  From our initial contact with Gets Holidays we have been impressed with Deepak’s communications. Any little niggles we had along the way we have been able to contact him and sort things out.  Our drivers and guides were excellent and took good care of us from the start of the tour to the very end. The driver we had for the Wildlife section of the trip made sure the transfers went smoothly on all 12 of the safari trips we did. Yes, we saw tigers in every wildlife park we visited.  Most of the hotels and lodges Deepak recommended were of excellent standard.   We highly recommend Gets Holidays for touring India.

A memorable tour of Udaipur region and Mt Abu
My wife and I did a tour of the Udaipur region and Mt Abu in the first two weeks of Nov 2024. I cannot praise the arrangements made by GeTs Holidays enough. Our contact was Mr Arijit Dhar, and, right from the research phase Arijit was available for consultation. He was very approachable and prompt in replying to our queries. He also recommended to us a different sequence of the itinerary so we avoid travelling back and forth. Good on you, Arijit ! We spent a night in Chittorgarh, 2 nights in Udaipur, a night each in Nathdwara and Kumbalgarh and rounded it off with 2 nights in Mt Abu. We stayed in the most lovely hotels everywhere most of them being former royal residences, the most stately of them being the Bikaner House at Mt Abu. It was wise of us to have opted to include breakfast and dinner in the package in most cities. We did well to opt for a Toyota Innova Cresta and were fortunate to get an excellent driver who knew the road network well, who stopped mostly at excellent eateries and coffee shops, and who was personally well-presented and punctual. We loved the Rajasthani cuisine, the chai (we even had 'tandoori chai' in Udaipur !) and the variety of food on offer at all the eating places as well as in the hotels where we stayed. A true treat for the taste buds, so typical of this part of India !! The tour guides provided by GeTs for Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Kumbalgarh were well-informed, not too talkative and sincere. The visit to the forts and the historic places up the mountain at Chittorgarh left us overawed at the valour and the spirit of sacrifice of the Maharanas and their Rajput women. The next halt was at Udaipur at the amazing Hotel Lake Pichola. The suite we had booked was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the lake. We began the day with a sacred visit to the beautiful Jagadish Temple. The tour of the City Palace museum would need several days, actually, but we managed to soak up the historicity of the place in a couple of hours, followed by a boat cruise on lake Pichola, and a brief visit to the Jagmandir island. After lunch we could visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal which has exhibits on the crafs, dolls, masks, paintings of the region and offer a puppet show. I was very impressed that these ancient crafts are still alive and left the place feeling quite emotional. Due to the heat and the traffic, we couldn't find the energy to visit the Sajjangarh Palace (the 'Monsoon' palace) and the Vintage Car Museum but managed to cool off at the delightful gardens called Saheliyon Ki Badi -- beautiful trees and plants nicely landscaped with fountains of water providing the much-needed coolness. We rounded off the day by spending about half an hour at the Lok Dharohar show watching the elegant Rajasthani folk dances. On day 4, we began by looking at the gorgeous sculpture of the 'Sas Bahu' temple at Nagda -- this place is a little remote and not too touristy it seemed, but I cannot thank myself enough for having included it on our list, it was amazing. Then the much-awaited darshan at the historic Eklingji Siva temple, the ancestral deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, a visit that left me feeling deeply fulfilled, a memory that I shall carry for a very long time. After that we had a coffe-and-cake stop at the splendid Devigarh Palace Hotel, the location for the Hindi movie, "Ekalavya". It was a picturesque location and the hotel radiated 'class'. We then arrived at the popular Krishna temple town of Nathdwara, and, to avoid the crowds managed to pay our way in thru the fast-track queue to have a good but rushed darshan. The stay at the wonderful Radisson was fulfilling, with it's generous offerings for dinner and breakfast. On day 5, we had a quick darshan at the Dwarkadish temple at Kankroli, and, a quick view of Lake Rajasamand located just behind the temple. From here, the roads were atrocious due to a major upgrade and extension project, and we somehow managed to get to the Maharana Pratap museum at Haldighati, a gem of a place to visit. Very well-maintained dioramas and paintings, an enjoyable and impressive light and sound show highlighting the life and times of the great Rana, we were glad we could visit this attraction. After a quick lunch, weaving our way along the crater-filled roads, we managed to get to Kumbalgarh and after the hotel formalities rushed to tour the world-renowned Kumbalgarh Fort. The guide was excellent, and thanks to his narration, we could get some lovely photos and, despite the heat, take our time to soak up the incredible architectural marvel, including a darshan at the Siva temple located down the bottom of the Fort, where Maharana Kumbha used to offer prayers. It was a marvellous feeling. On day 6, we visited the incredible Jain temple complex at Ranakpur. The whole property emanated a sense of serenity. Beautiful sculpture and very well-maintained. Rest of day 6 and, days 7 and 8 were dedicated to Mt Abu, the delightful hill resort nestled in the majestic Aravali mountains. Guru Shikhar mountain, the highest point in Rajasthan, crowned by a quaint temple dedicated to Guru Dattatreya, the ancient sculpture-rich Jain temple at Dilwara, the Brahmakumari's peace haven called Shanti Van with it's interesting gardens and the presentation of the seven "Jyothirlinga", the sacred Achaleshwar Mahadev temple, the enjoyable boat ride in the evening on Nakki Lake , and, a sight of the setting sun from the Sunset Point, these were the delights we enjoyed. Despite the bustling crowds (mostly tourists from Gujarat), we thoroughly enjoyed Mt Abu, and looking back, I thank myself for having opted for Palace Hotel Bikaner House, an elegantly presented former residence of the Bikaner royal family, probably the best of the hotels we stayed at on our tour of Rajasthan -- the stately gardens, the spacious and renovated room, the lovely coffe lounge and the dining areas, wow !! Throughout our tour, the hotel staff at all the hotels we stayed at were welcoming, polite and hospitable, and the rooms were excellent, and the food was generous and delicious. To sum up, this is a tour package I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Bravo, GeTs Holidays and thanks mate, Arijit !!

Absolutely Phenomenal tour of Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa
This was a phenomenal trip. Anu from Gets Holiday was very attentive and detailed in planning this trip. It our first time using a tour company outside the US and although I was skeptical it was fabulous. She answered all questions and concerns and responded very quickly. She put together a great trip. We did Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa All the guides and drivers was fantastic, very knowledgeable and safe and great suggestions for food. We were so much at home that we were eating in all the local spots. . I will definitely be planning more trips with Anu. Also, the cost was beyond great. All hotels were 4 or 5 star. Anu kept in touch with us everyday during our trip to make sure that all was going well. In 32 years of traveling , 103 countries and this is our third trip to India. This was the best trip. GREAT JOB Anu.

      Extraordinary trip. Unbeatable service
We hired the 10-day tour from Spain with the idea of visiting Delhi and Rajasthan. From the beginning and by WhatsApp we contacted Deepak, and everything has been perfect. He designed the trip to suit us, they did all the procedures, with local guides who spoke perfect Spanish. He provided a driver for us who could not have been more friendly , serious, willing to do everything possible to make the trip unforgettable, Ravinka. I definitely recommend them, and we will do more trips around India with this extraordinary team

Lovely day out, but a little rushed
Was a lovely day trip, they had great communication before the excursion and kept us informed. The driver was prompt and generally nice, but he got annoyed my 3 year old son for stepping on the car seat, which felt unnecessary. The tour guide Harpreet was really nice and knowledge and the Golden temple was Amazing! However, the visit did feel quite rushed and would have liked a little bit more time there and felt we could have spent more time there as once we finished lunch he said we had a hour before we could go to the border, and therefore we went to a textile shop. We made it with plenty of time to the border itself, and the parade itself was amazing!

Before I went there, i did not have any expectation about the temple. But after my 6 hours visit over there, i want to describe it as the MUST VISIT PLACE in Delhi. THE TEMPLE IS CLOSED ON MONDAY. It is good to enter the temple at 2.00 PM. So that you can enjoy it with evening musical fountain show. It is very near from AKSHARDHAM METROSTATION. You can see the view of the temple from backside of metro station and you can reach there easily by walk from the metrostation. Mobile phones and other electronic items are not allowed inside temple. TEMPLE MANAGEMENT WILL GET YOUR MOBILE PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC ITEMS AND KEEP THEM IN THEIR CUSTODY UNTIL YOUR RETURN FROM TEMPLE. So if you want to have the snap of temple, do it from outside as much as you want. Inside temple, The temple management itself has photo session for visitors for which Rs.50 was charged for each photo (march 2019) and the copies were given immediately. Inside temple, they sell the book about the temple which was Rs.10 when i went there. It is good to read it. You can use the canteen if you are hungry. But you should use it before entering into main entrance of temple. The temple structure reminds me the palace shown in Bahubali movie. The culuture of hindu religion is very well explained there. You don't have to read them like you did in your school days. They were well explained using big movable toy statues with voice. Even little kids love it very much. Hindi and english are the languages used to explain. Seperate queue and place for hindi and non hindi people. There is an amazing artificial boat ride which explains the history, culture and inventions in hindu religion. That ride was wonderful. The best part of the temple is the musical fountain show in evening. Hindi langugae is only used in that show. Though i could not understand the language, i Ccould understand the concept and enjoyed the visuals. Those visuals were amazing. When i came out of temple, i felt like i was in different world for the past 6 hours. So, DON'T MISS AKSHARDHAM.
