My sister and I arrange this tour through our hotel and had an incredible day trip. Nadith, our guide was such a lovely man and really made our day. He was extremely knowledge about everything and was great fun. We had a laugh! We would 10/10 recommend this tour and especially Nadith. :)

Nadith was an amazing guide. The first day, he got us to Kitulgala for rafting and canyoning. The second day, we did the Three Temple loop. Both experiences were amazing, and had a great time. We learned so many things thanks to Nadith, about Sri Lanka, Buddhism, nature, history, culture. I highly recommend Nadith.

What an amazing day. Can’t believe we managed to fit so much in. I chose this tour because of the addition of Pidurangala rock as I heard the view of Sigiriya from the top is breathtaking. It didn’t disappoint. And Sigiriya and Dambulla caves were incredible, a combination of amazing scenery and fascinating history. I still can’t understand how they built on top of the rock! The climb up to the top of Sigiriya is an adventure but the view from the top is rewarding. Make sure you take a hat as it is hot. And the caves! So many Buddhas and cave paintings. Very special to learn about Buddhism in such an incredible setting. Nadith is an incredible tour guide. He’s extremely knowledgeable and obviously very proud of Sri Lanka and the Kandy region. He also had a good sense of humour and was easy to talk to. It made the tour even more special to have a local as the guide. I would highly recommend Nadith and Take Me Sri Lanka.

We went on the tour with Nadith who grew up in Kandy and had been living there since. He has lot of knowledge bout the city and also about buddhism which is an important part of Kandy and Sri Lanka. It was a very nice tour despite maybe a bit too much for one day. But we knew that there would be 10 stops at first. For people on a low budget the tour would sound great for 1500 rupees per person but take into consideration that there will be fees for entry at nearly every stop like the botanical garden, dance show etc. Maybe asking that in advance to avoid unwanted costs. Overall we enjoyed the trip but maybe wouldve done it splitted onto 2 days to be a bit more relaxing. Bur Nadith gave us the time we needed, not rushing anything.

The trip was great and our guide was very friendly and gave us lots of information about the places and about sri lanka. It was a very long day but worth it. The view was great. We can absolutely recommend this tour.

My guide, Nadith, was very knowledgable. Gave great information and tidbits about each place and Sri Lanka as a whole. Hd was extremely flexible with the plans and when finding out my interests or preferences he made sure to find activities similar or with those in mind. Definitely recommend as you can see pretty much everything in a day. Normally it's a 10-12 hour tour so well worth the money!

I went on a full day tour with a friend of mine in January. We were taken on the tour by Nadith who was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable about all the sites, he didn’t rush us and even added in a few stops that interested us. We felt very safe and cared for throughout the day and learnt so much from Nadith. We were both very grateful for such a great day and we’re so glad we crossed paths with him. The sights were amazing and the view from Pidurandala was my favourite. Nadith taught us a lot about Buddhism and walked us around the caves and temples, providing lots of information about the different statues and their history. It was fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed our day tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

We are so overly grateful that we crossed paths with Nadith on our Sri Lankan trip. We had him originally just as a driver from A to B, but then discovered how knowledgeable and kind he was, that we had him as a guide for the following two days! We are never into ‘guided tours’ but this was so casual yet informative it was brilliant. He went above and beyond to share so much culture and history with us — his knowledge is incredibly rich and deep and he knows his way around so well. We did the Kandy tour with him, which allowed us to really enjoy the busy city. We talked to other travellers who didn’t like the place, so we thoroughly believe it was Nadith who allowed us to really enjoy being there. He went really above and beyond and gave so much of his time, we never felt rushed and he altered everything to suit what we wanted to do, nothing was too much hassle at all. We also did Kandy to Nuwara Eliya with him, which was a brilliant suggestion to see some sights along the journey and then catch the train from there to Ella instead of doing the whole train journey. Which we wouldn’t have even considered before, yet worked out perfectly as we didn’t have train tickets so just did the smaller and most beautiful section. He made us feel so well taken care of, allowed us to relax in the craze of Sri Lanka knowing we were taken care of and was such a genuinely great person!! We would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone visiting Sri Lanka and the central area. We are so so so grateful that we crossed paths!!! Thanking you always Nadith!!

I would like to begin by saying I had a great time in Kandy Sri Lanka. It was my friend and I first time visit there. We met Nadith, a professional tour operator who show us around places like Sri Maha Bodhi temple, the royal botanic gardens, the tea factory and the kandian cultural show at the kandyan art association hall. Nadith did a good job explaining in details and showing us around the different locations. Although our time was short I would recommend Nadith to my family and friends, he has done and outstanding job touring us around.

Our driver Nadith was amazing! He drove us around Kandy all day and he showed us all the main attractions! He speaks english very well, so we didn’t have any troubles understanding him. He stopped whenever we liked and gave us time to explore on our own. He is an amazing person!

Myself and my wife wanted to explore more around Kandy thus we asked for help from 'Take Me Sri Lanka' They offered to take us to a waterfall and do a 1hour hike as well as stop at a local restaurant to have lunch. All and all 4 hours for 5000rupees. Then a guy with a small old black car that barely speaks English came to pick us up from the hotel. He was friendly though he did not really look like any sort of regular tour guide that is well spoken and informed. About 25min later we stopped at a small waterfall to start the hike. The pathway was very dangerous overgrown and barely accessible for an experienced hiker. My wife said that she can't do this and has the wrong shoes, just to be nice. The guide offered to take us to another waterfall for 1500 rupees extra. By this time we were so tired of being fooled by locals around Kandy that we just decided to go back. About 1hour after we started we were back, and the driver requested the 5000 rupees. I am writing this review not as any form of revenge, but to warn other travelers not to use this company. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country that we have traveled to many times. But gready companies like this ruined our experience of Kandy and surroundings.
