I was planning to go down south in srilanka but finally I booked this tour,Now I feel I made the right decision. Sigiriya and Dambulla is amazing and I never thought to do all 3 in one day, but thanks JK travels and my guide janaka arranging such a lovely tour for me. - rimarkaj0 contributionsFull of activities , 100% perfect !!A great family tour with Janaka, we booked this tour in last minute but we never thought it will be the best tour we had in srilanka duriing our stay. We did two world heritage sites with national park safari. Our kids really enjoyed the safari and saw 100+ Elphants which we have never seen before.Great tour and highly recommend .Written September 13, 2024
- abR6019JD0 contributionsIT'S A FRAUD! DON'T BOOK!IT'S A FRAUD.! They make you pay more than 100€ for the booking, then they write you an email where they say they ask you more money for performing the tour, so nothing is included in the initial price. Then, when you try to ask the money back, because you understand it's a fraud, they don't refund you. I attach a screenshot of the extra money they asked me. Don't book this!Written September 13, 2024
- aman t0 contributionsLegend has it that Sigiriya was a fort built by King Kasyapa. Sigiri Fort has a long history and different opinions have been exThe former fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the 8th wonder of the world. A valley located in the Kimbissa area of Matale district near the city of Dambulla in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is a site of historical and archaeological importance dominated by a massive rock column approximately 180 m (590 ft) high.Written September 10, 2024
- takeh_sm0 contributionsFriendly and helpful agent with flexibilityJK Travels can customize the trip flexibly. I really wanted to go to Rose Quartz Mountain and have an astrologer's consultation, so started early to go to astrologers office and replaced Safari with Rose quartz mountain. From reservation process to the end of the tour, everything was smooth thanks to the manager and driver. This selfish schedule could have never been possible without JK Travels. Thank you!!Written September 5, 2024
- charlien5200 contributionsA phenomenal experineceA phenomenal day touring Sigiriya with a breathtaking Safari in the Minneriya National Park, hike up Sigirya Fortress and to the Buddhist cave temples. My driver went above and beyond to make my day really special, including a stop at a beautiful Ayurvedic garden based on the interest I expressed.. It was a lot of driving for the driver to do, which I greatly appreciated, but would encourage those who have the time to do it over a couple of days instead as to avoid rushing exploring this beautiful region, as well as to ensure the driver doesn't feel rushed either.Written September 5, 2024
- solotriptease0 contributionsBusy Day to Cover Three SitesI had a great day visitng three UNESCO World Heritages sites. Instead of the safari, I went to Polonnaruwa where a number of unique ancient ruins remain. In these Buddhist ruins, I noticed influences of Hinduism and it was intriguing. Sigiriya Rock was my biggest reason to come to Sri Lanka, and I was awed by its size, height and the sceneries from the top. The sceneries must have been the same in the last 1500 years. It was surrounded by mostly untouched jungle. Thinking about it, I was travelling not just places but also through times. I also went to the Dambulla cave temple, and I didn't know I would climb as high as Sigiriya there. But the caves on top were a sight to behold. The paintings on the walls were vivid and powerful. After all this, I went back to Bandaranaike airport and caught the plane at 20:30. The driver was friendly and gave me lots of information that I wouldn't know otherwise. I only stayed in Sri Lanka for one day, but it was worthy and memorable.Written September 3, 2024
- peterlX7041AY0 contributionsFull Day with 3 activitiesIt was a great day tour in Sigiriya and Dumbulla, with also a safari stop! We started the tour at 7.00 am, and had breakfast on the way to Sigiriya. It was a clean and nice restaurant . Janaka was a very kind and knowledgeable guide who took the best hospitality out there by caring for me. His driving was perfect, and it really recommends these activities in one day.Written August 25, 2024

One of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka, this ancient palace and fortress complex has significant archaeological importance.Rock plateau formed from magma of an extinct volcano, 200 m high, 1200 steps to the top, since 3th century BC served as a monastery.
Once you climbed the top, you enjoy a magnificent view of the surroundings.
