- KPM13930 contributionsComfortable, worth the money tourWell organized, very punctual and cozy experience with this group. The bus was comfortable and so was the boat/cruise. The experience on a smaller boat into the blue cave was very special! Sasha- the tour guide was witty and well informed which was very nice too. I was travelling with my elderly mum and they took extra care and helped her up and down the boat with much courtesy. If you have a day to spare in Montenegro, I would highly recommend doing this one! CheersWritten August 26, 2024
- angieb420160 contributionsGentle Rafting. Beautiful River. Long Transfer!Be prepared for the long bus ride from Budva - 2/3 hours. And even longer in the return - 4 hours. The coach was comfortable with a couple of cafe/toilet stops both ways. Rafting was definitely fun, if a little tame for me personally. Lovely paddle down the most beautiful Tara Canyon. Stop off for refreshment and swimming next to the waterfall. Food was basic and as expected ‘local Montenegro’. Cold meats and cheese for breakfast. Meat or fish for lunch, with soup. Fish was delicious, but meat was very fatty. Another family complained and they brought out a leaner cut of meat. Perfect trip for a family - even younger ones from age 5 were ok, as were non-swimmers. Safety briefing was ‘brief’. Not a clue what the drill was if we actually went in the river, but it was very tame paddling so perhaps wasn’t a worry. Full day 6.50am pick up and drop back by 8.30pm. Good value for money. Would recommend.Written August 17, 2024

- jeromemJ1910EN0 contributionsGreat cruiseMy partner and I had a great day on this cruise. There was a good range of beautiful locations with enough time at each. We would definitely recommend the optional trip to see the blue cave. The staff were all lovely people who were well organised and very professional.Written August 11, 2024
- Lofty8880 contributionsMet expectationsTook two tours with this company, a day trip to Dubrovnik and the Boka Bay Cruise. Both met my expectations and I was impressed with the organization of the tours. Everything went like clockwork. Comfortable transport. Would recommend this company........good valueWritten August 5, 2024
- C4297LJpeterc0 contributionsVery goodThe trip was well organised - bus picked us up in Becici. The cruise was great, good guide, food was good and reasonably priced. Enjoyed blue caves swimming too! Recommended!Written August 3, 2024
- ddana20160 contributionsInsightful and value for moneyMy son and I attended this cruise instead of a bus tour which was cancelled last minute. However, we are glad we did. The tour guide was excellent, providing interesting insights in Serbian, Russian and English as we passed by the beautiful coastline. The boat Budva was spacious with plenty of shaded area downstairs. At Zanjice you can catch a smaller boat to blue cave for 10 euros each or visit the beach. We opted for the beach which is made of pebbles. Getting in the water is uncomfortable but the scenery more than makes up for it. Lunch on board was simple, but well organised, quick and value for money. Herceg Novi was a highlight and worth the 200+ steps up to the old town for a quick drink or to browse the gift shops if you're physically able. The church at our lady of the rocks is interesting and worth the small admission fee, the time spent here was just right and there are some great views as you arrive. Lastly, a one hour stop at Kotor old town provides a taster of the charming narrow streets and history and will leave you wanting more. The one hour bus journey back to Budva felt longer after a long day, but this is due to high season traffic and of course out of the control of the organisers. A well organised and insightful tour where my 10 year old and I felt safe and informed all day.Written August 3, 2024
- 972thereser0 contributionsVery good but transfer time too longRafting was great but the journey to get there from Budva & back was 4 hours each way & we were not expecting that. The transfer time should be advised in the description of the tripWritten August 2, 2024
- csearle750 contributionsA bit rushed but a good trip if no accessibility challengeThe plus points were plenty. We got to see many places briefly. Staff were very helpful and kind. The fish meal and pancakes on the boat were very good and good value and they were careful with my allergies which I appreciated. We didn't get any walking tour in Kotor or Herceg Novi as mentioned on their website itinerary, just free time without suggestions on what was possible in the time/should not be missed. Given I have limited mobility and struggle walking on cobbled streets, we saw very little. Staff helped me on and off the boat but walking with a stick down the steep ramp without a handrail was not easy and I was in a great deal of pain each time on/off the boat. One less stop would have given time to explore one of the towns better. If you're totally mobile I'm sure you'd score it higher! I appreciated how they tried to accommodate me!Written August 2, 2024

Our friendly and professional guide provided us with interesting facts and even so the schedule was tight, everything was punctual on time. On the ship we could enjoy a tasty lunch and the scenery provided spectecular views!Written July 26, 2024

- gawain0 contributionsExcellent tour, excellent day!A very well organised tour from pick up and throughout the day. Our guide relayed lots of interesting information about the areas we passed through. We sat back and relaxed looking at the beautiful scenery on our journey to Lake Skadar.Lake Skadar was impressive.Very beautiful, peaceful and atmospheric. Our guide provided a lovely, traditional snack which there was plenty of.Boat took us to a lovely, quiet cove where we enjoyed a traditional lunch and some beach time. Although fish was the main option the tour guide arranged something else for anyone who did not want fish. A great day indeed. Fantastic value for money especially given that the snack and lunch food were part of the tour price.Written July 16, 2024

We had such a wonderful time on this tour!! It was the perfect, relaxing way to see so much of Montenegro with someone else organising all the travel - exactly what we needed after a week of hiking (which we highly recommend doing!). The pick-up was easy in the morning and the bus was right on time. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable and our tour guide, Katarina, couldn’t have been better! She provided amazing insight into the history and traditions of Montenegro in two different languages, meaning no one on the tour was left out. The zip-lining over Tara Canyon is highly recommended if you want a bit of a thrill with incredible views.
Make sure you bring plenty of euros in cash with you pay for the delicious lunch and to purchase some local wine, rakija, prosciutto and cheese which make for a perfect dinner at the end of your day.
We are so lucky to have found this tour and recommend it to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the history and culture of Montenegro for a day.

The excursion to Crno Jezero (Black Lake) and Tara Canyon in May was an invaluable nature experience that I would recommend to everyone. These places are a paradise for nature lovers, adventurers, and anyone who wants to break away from everyday life. I especially commend the organization of the agency that arranged the excursion as everything went smoothly and safely.

Communication was very quick & easy with Snezana. Meet up point was very close to the apartment we rented so that was a plus. The tour was impressive having Snezana managing it so well. She was very proficient switching languages between Russian & English & I think even the jokes were received well in both languages bcoz I hear laughs every time. It was nice to know how Podgorica became as it is right now. Showing us Morača region was a good experience - the monastery, the canyon & also the significant relationship the region have with Serbia. The telling of history involved & how it evolved was told by Snezana in a respectful way. Also I love that we were given ample time exploring a bit of Tara bridge & for photo ops that we all love to do. The lunch option was also good to have considering there were not much establishments around the area. Black Lake was a good easy hike to explore. The Montenegrin way of introducing themselves to a prospective partner was a very good touch for us visitors to know. Snezana was such a good manager of this tour & she did with ease & professionalism. Thank you, Snezana.

When booking, it was pointed out that the trip would not take place in bad weather. On the day booked, it was pouring with rain. The trip took place on the grounds that the weather would be better up in the mountains. That was not the case. It was raining continuously until 12 noon, i.e. for the first 5 hours. You couldn't see St. Nicholas Island or Skadar Lake at all. As a result, the first destinations were not reached and the announced breakfast break took place during a "technical inspection" lasting 20 minutes. This meant that you could go to a kind of kiosk and get something there.
After the rain stopped, it took until about 1 p.m. and the sun came out. Anyone who wanted to ride the Tara Zipline for €30 got their money's worth. At the lake, where you could swim according to the description, it was expressly advised not to go into the water. Not only because of the temperature of a maximum of 12 degrees, but also because of some animals in the water. There was no dinner in Niksic either. The lunch was mass processing - it can't be any other way with 50 participants - but it tasted good.
All in all, the trip - despite the very helpful tour guide - was not worth the money.

This tour takes you to some beautiful sights in Montenegro but maybe tries to cram too many things over a wide area which results in a very long tour. Our tour was also made 2+hrs longer due to a road closure. The time on the bus outweighs the time spent at stops.
We seemed unlucky with our tour guide compared to the reviews. He more interested in talking to the bus driver (who took multiple phone calls while driving). While knowledgeable about certain aspects of the tour it would have been good to hear more about Montenegro during the lengthy quiet spells. He was understandably very firm about being prompt on returning to the bus on time but failed to adhere to this himself and was 3-5mins late on at least two occasions.
The stops were poor- there was insufficient time to queue for both the toilets and the food or drink and the quality was poor. The tour guide prioritised feeding and watering himself. Lunch was excellent although somewhat expensive (15 euro for pork and potatoes)
Would not recommend if you have children- it was a fairly difficult travel wise.

We do a tour or excursion of some sort in every country we visit and by far this was the most disappointing one.
We were met in Kotor by a driver (car) not a bus as we had been expecting. No communication to make us aware that this would be happening. At 6.30am myself and my partner then embarked on a horrible car ride with a driver that was constantly scrolling on his phone (something I’m not personally comfortable with).
We finally met the bus and from then on another reviewer below sums it up perfectly. Expensive food that appears to be an organised deal with the company (order separately at the restaurant to the set offers - that’s what a couple did on ours and we wished we had) and rushed visits to each place.
We paid €50+ each for the trip and then it was another €30+ each just to eat and experience the day. You are also clock watching all the time because of the threat of being left behind. Not fun. The views are simply sensational and it would have been nice to be able to relax and enjoy them.
The two main positives from the day - the GORGEOUS views at the National park (simply stunning) and we rescued the injured little dog that we met at the service station/best dessert place ever (it is not) on the way home from our day trip. She is moving over to live with us in the coming months - we can’t wait. So we gained her out of the day.

A good intro to Montenegro, in that it does get you away from the beach and out in the countryside.
It makes for a long day (we left at 6:30 in the morning and returned around 20:30).
We spent a lot of time in the bus. Montenegro is mostly made up of mountains and narrow passes, and our driver navigated them well - even when taking phone calls while driving (which we were not so happy about).
Unfortunately there were very few stops and very few photo opportunities. You’re stuck on a bus a lot.
Stops were functional: for cigarette breaks, pee stops and to promote local producers (honey drinks and alcohols).
It might not have been so bad, were it not for the guide… frankly, she was just awful. Very rude. She did not stop babbling, we were desperate for her to stop from time to time to take breath and give our ears and heads a rest. She spoke first in English and then repeated in Russian… but mostly spoke about nothing useful whatsoever.
We stopped for lunch. The man who served us was friendly, spoke impeccable English but the food offer was poor and not even cooked through. The dish was pork and raw… we sent it back.
Also cost €25 for one meal and drinks on top of the tour… so am expensive day.
If you have no other way of getting round the country, this is an okay snapshot, but do not have high expectations or go getting very excited!!

Misleading advertising, nothing promised happened
The targeted locations were announced on the bus, but not a glimpse of them.
Stops only when it worked and there was nothing to see
They promised to go to the black lake, they gave us an hour and left us 25m away. They took us all the way down in the middle of the woods and they didn't wait for us to come back. I just didn't get lost because my husband has an excellent sense of guidance.
We stopped 1 hour for lunch, we had to say what we wanted in the bus 1 hour before, it took 35m to serve and the guide replaced us for the truck after 50m
The Dinner with views of the monastery, I have no idea of the dinner or the monastery.
We paid to travel 13h by bus. The guide never addressed any of us personally, debiting information that I think is mostly false.
I think the only thing they should do is give us back the money and take this trip off the menu.

A wonderful trip with breathtaking views and fantastic history. It was very well planned and ran very smoothly. In fact there is enough in thus trip for 3-4 separate ones so value for money was fantastic. Our guide Katja was very knowledgeable, welcoming and very passionate about her country and what is has to offer. Highly recommended!
