About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Guff870 contributionsExceptional Service & OperatorEdunas Tours was a great operator. We arrived into Nazca in the evening and had a Nazca Lines flight booked for the following morning and the afternoon free before our bus out of town so were keen to check out some sites. We were able to arrange a custom tour the day before to the Pyramid of Cahuachi, Aqueducts and Cemetery Chauchilla with a start time and end time that worked to our schedule. On the day of the tour our flight operator was a disaster that ran 1.5hrs late. Edunas Tours was so understanding and happily started the tour later, and even rescued us from the airport when the other operator still hadn't dropped us back to our hotel and we'd been waiting a 1/2hr by that point and were stranded. We managed to see all the sights still and finish on time to make our bus. Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly and I wish I had written down his name, as he was so lovely to us when we were quite stressed about how late we were running.Written November 6, 2023
- Europeanonmove0 contributionsHistoric and Fun Sand Dune BuggyVery reasonable price for a fab bilingual guide, dashing about on a dune buggy, getting a good tour of historical sights and information and then sand boarding down the dunes. Had a brilliant time. Highly recommended this tour and company.Written July 18, 2019
- Millet020 contributionsOkay, but...We took the dune buggy your that went 4 places: the aqueducts, cemetery, ruins, and the dunes. The aqueduct we visited was very pretty but not the big circular ones you see while flying over the lines; the cemetery was an old sure it in the desert that had been looted, so bones everywhere but you do not actually see the big cemetery with the mummies etc.; The ruins at Cahuachi, which is worth about 15 minutes but somehow our guide did around and talked for like 45 minutes repeating the same things over and over; and the dunes, where they year around on them for about 10 minutes before they stop and let people try sandboarding. Overall, this was long, expensive, not what we expected to see, and dangerous because of the dune buggies going up and down. And before you judge me, we didn't realize it was dune buggies until we got there. My Spanish vocabulary didn't include dune buggy until after this tour.Written October 14, 2018
- Ben M0 contributionsAfternoon on dune'sA Very enjoyable afternoon with a mixture of learning about the pyramids, aqueducts and ancient buried mummies plus the fun of being on a dune buggy going over dunes and sandboarding. Nice way to end my stay in Nazca.Written October 8, 2018
- Lozmyster0 contributionsProfessional tour companyCerro Blanco tour. Very professional and helpful office staff arranged this for me last minute. Exactly as described. Zero gaff. Guide was great fun and spoke a little English. A decent 3h trek to the top, great views, a staggeringly massive sand dune. Definitely an "at your own (high) risk) excursion. High speed falls are expected. Would be much better if they provided some thick leather gloves as you use your hands in the sand for slowing down at very high speed. A serious action excursion, well organised by Edunas tours. Thanks!Written October 3, 2018
- Nahadeh0 contributionsLot of fun among the dunesDuring our stay in Nazca we decided to visit Cahuachi pyramid with a your so we could see more places during the trip. The tour was great. We traveled on a buggy around the desert and we visited not only Cahuachi pyramid but also a profaned cemetery, Cantalloc aqueducts and we did sand boarding at the end of the day. Our tour guide, Jonathan, was great. We all enjoyed jumping over the dunes with the buggy and the archaeological sites were really interesting, and really difficult to visit otherwise. We really recommend this tour and Edunas tours to do it.Written April 1, 2018
- Grant I0 contributionsAlot of funWe had a blast. We can't imagine going to Nasca and not doing this. Sand dunes were so fun and we visited a bunch of historical sites as well. Guides had good insights. They accept Visa for payment. Bring tons of water and sunscreen and sunglasses are a must, to protect your eyes from the sand.Written February 1, 2018
- Monsieurboule1090 contributionsHad so much funHad two days to spend in Nazca, we flew over the Nazca lines and relaxed on the first day and went with edunas tours on the second day. The 4 hours tour brought us with a buggy to an acueducto, the pyramid of Cahuachi, the cemetery and then on the dunes to sandboard. I really loved the cemetery and all the traveling on the buggy. Jonathan, our driver, was fast driving and that gave us a lot of good sensation. Only for the buggy part the tour is worth it, and the visits are all bonusWritten January 13, 2018
- 333lovetotravel8880 contributionsGreat companyWe booked 3 tours with this company and were very happy with the tours. The tours were very well priced and the staff were very helpful. We paid $65pp for the flight to see Nazca lines. After the flight, we did a land tour to visit Marie Richie museum and saw the Nazca lines and Papal figures from the towers, Finally, we did the sandbuggies tour which was fun.Written January 3, 2018
- Nahuak0 contributionsWonderful activity to spend the afternoon after the flightAfter the morning flight over the Nasca lines we booked an afternoon buggy tour through the Nasca desert. We have visited archaeological sites and received interssting and professional information from the guide. The guide is a safe driver, knows the surroundings very well and is a easy going, friendly guy. A great adventure before we then took off with the night bus to Arequipa.Written November 19, 2017
- Linseofdoom0 contributionsGood agencyWe were very happy with the two tours we did with Edunas. First we did the aquaducts with a really sweet guide called Jorge, who knew a lot. We also did another tour to different ruins and sandbuggying, which was fun and the guide was much more concerned with our safety compared to Huacachina!! I wish the explanations in English would have been longer though.Written November 19, 2017
- tali19770 contributionsSuper fun experienceWe had the chance to experience a fantastic buggy ride with Eduardo, who took us to the Cahuachi Pyramids, the cemetery and the aqueducts. The trip was super fun and Eduardo was very knowledgeable about the landscape, the history and the ancient tribes there. We learned a lot from his tour.Written October 31, 2017
- Jonathan M0 contributionsThrilling adventure! My sister and I had an incredible afternoon on this tour! Great value for money - something we'll never forget!Written September 1, 2017
- benoitt4780 contributionsAmazing day tour in NazcaWhile Nazca is best known for the Lines, my best memory of it is definitely this tour of really cool ruins and amazing buggy trek and sandboarding. After Nazca Lines, don't forget to join this in the afternoon. Thank you Rosabel Franco for all the info, fun and pictures.Written July 21, 2017
- naeus4440 contributionsgreat price for a comprehensive half day tour/activitygeorge, my guide was young but so knowledgable & spoke such good english!!! even though i was the only english speaking tourist in his group he still explained the sites we visited to me though i think it was the abbreviated version compared to the spanish speaking group cause with them i noticed he spoke much longer :)) but that was fine as i got to explore the sites more on my ownWritten April 11, 2017

Definitely recommend! Really fun way to learn about the Nasca culture beyond the lines. Eduardo and the driver were excellent! Great communication and accommodation of the two of us needing english explanations. One point off for the stop at the end to learn about Nasca pottery and shop at the store. We were already over time on the tour, tired and sandy. Would recommend removing this stop or putting it near to the beginning of the tour. Tour ended around 7:15pm.

I did a great tour with them. Driving about 20km along the Nasca River with many stops: aqeaduct, the pyramids and a grave yard. And then a thrilling roller coaster ride through the dunes, followed by trying to learn to sand board the dunes. Such an excellent combination of activities! Perfect way to spend the afternoon after the morning flight over the Nasca lines.

Excellent tour!! We had a lot of fun. The guides are very kind, they always care about people in the tour are enjoying and safe! They even gave us blankets in the way back because it was very cold. The tour took longer because they let us have the complete experience. The landscape was amazing and exclusive (we were the only group of people there). I really recomend this tour with Eduardo, good price and great experience. 100% recommended !!!

We did the dune buggy tour while we were in Nazca and it was an absolute blast! In addition to being a highly skilled driver, Eduardo did a great job of being our tour guide and using his "Spanglish" (as he called it) for his only two English participants - us. The tour takes you to the aqueducts, the pyramids and cemetery at Cahuachi, the sand dunes where you get a chance to try sand boarding (which I highly recommend you do!) and a traditional ceramic workshop. The tour is very thorough and well priced, and it was one of our highlights during our recent trip to Peru. Highly recommend checking this tour out!

We had an amazing time with Eduardo who taught us so much about the Nazca history and customs… it was also great fun with some good skills shown during the sand boarding practice !
