About
It is a unique route, crossing picturesque towns and appreciating the Cordillera Blanca to the east and the Cordillera negra to the west.
We will transit through the buffer zone of the Huascarán Biosphere Reserve, and then enter the Huascarán National Park, both considered World Heritage sites.
Campo Santo de Yungay is a tribute to those who died in the 1970 earthquake, an earthquake that hit Ancashina society hard and has not yet been overcome.
It is a super quiet tour, ideal to acclimatize or enjoy with the whole family.
Possibility of enjoying a great variety of regional gastronomy.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- francochine0 contributionsGreat activity to do while acclimatizing to the altitudeMy two adult boys and I found this tour very educational and entertaining. What was accomplished by this civilization that pre-dated the Inca civilization by over 1000 years is fascinating and astounding.Written August 27, 2024

It has a great view, you can take great photos, there is a boat ride, however this ride is quite short, you can also take advantage of buying things from the area such as corn with cheese, cachangas, etc.
