    THIEF!!!!
Edgar Zombrano. is a thief. DO NOT BOOK WITH FIRST CLASS HUARAZ!!!!!. After I paid I never heard back from Edgar Zombrano or anyone at First class Huaraz. I called First Huaraz and Edgar Zombrano multiple times but there was no answer. I sent emails and text messages and still no reply. I decided to call my credit card company so I can get a refund. But first class Huaraz told them that it was a legit purchase because I voluntarily gave them my credit card information. and that they booked a hotel and bus tickets for me. when I called the hotel, and the bus company had nothing under my name. Also, I agreed with Edgar Zombrano on a different hotel than the awful hotel he claims he booked for me. DO NOT GIVE THIS PEOPLE any of your personal information. if you want to go to Huaraz, book everything on your own and find a tour guide once you get there. This is what I will do. so sad there are these horrible people in this world.

Huaraz is great, this agency isn't
Huaraz and all places around are magnificent, unfortunately I chose the worst agency, for my group, we spent 3 days with them (all inclusive: van for 7, food, lodging, tour guides, etc.) food was good, lodging was ok, and that is it, the rest of the services were terrible. we were willing to pay an expensive service, to receive the best service, here is why this is the worst experience I've ever had traveling the world: 1. we hired a private service, the first day they added 2 additional persons to the van, because they did not have any other cars to send them and in the middle of the road, the van stopped to pick up a local, so this became a public transportation van instead of a private tour. 2. Oxygen was included in the service, just in case something happened, one of us needed it the first day because of height, and the guide told me his boss didn't send it. 3. First day we went to Postoruri, guide didn't say anything about the glacier, he was more interested in asking about our country than explaining something about the glacier, plus he felt sleep on the way back. 4. we are lucky to be alive, second day the driver was driving very fast next to the cliff and almost crash with other car. 5. a "first class" service is supposed to have a van with A/C and heating, they didn't even know how to turn it on and when they finally did, a dust cloud came out, they told me they have never turned it on before. 6. on dirt roads, I had to constantly tell the driver and the guide to close the window (at this point we started to get angry), they didn’t want to. 7. second and third day guide, was as bad as the first day guide, didn't say much and felt sleep, he was so bad that we asked the population of Peru and its territory length, a basic question for a tour guide and he didn't know. 8. the guide and the driver were like other tourists, the driver asked us to take him pictures, and the guide took his daughter and was constantly taking her pictures and paying more attention to her than doing what we paid for. 9. every place we arrived, the guide was looking for someone to explain us about the place because he didn't know a thing. 10. they were lost a couple of times, they had to ask the locals where to go. 11. Guide was constantly answering the phone organizing other tours, he sometimes interrupted his basic chat with us to answer the phone. 12. We paid a private service to go at our pace, but the guides were constantly rushing us, at the end of the third day I understood why, he was rushing us because he had to do other things as soon as we arrived. Do yourself a favor, don't you hire this company, go find a first class service somewhere else, I have traveled all over north and south america, I have even taken free tours in Europe, and there is no comparison, this company has been my worst experience traveling the world.

Terrible middle man to be avoided at all costs!
We had a terrible experience with Edgar Zombrano. The first red flag while booking with this company should be the name itself “First class Huaraz”. Try and visit the website and look for the headquater address. If you are in Huaraz and get a chance to visit the headquaters you will find that it is a local grocery store. He has deliberately not kept a “Tours and Travels” signboard outside the grocery store lest he could be located by tourists. He charged us $90 per person for a trip to Paron. On speaking with others on our bus the price is actually 50 Sols. Thats about $17 ; but i guess the extra charge is for first class service. Ok, on the morning of 12 September when we were supposed to be picked up from our hotel at 7.00 Am the bus didn’t arrive. We got anxious and started calling the phone number registered on the company website and the one provided by viator. We even dropped an email and on receiving no response we dediced to take a taxi at 8.00 and go straight to the headquaters. Guess what, its a grocery store! on searching for Mr Zombrano at the location we were told four other tourists had gone through the same experience in just the last two months. Finally we get a hold of Mr Zombrano and he makes a few calls to get us seated on a bus. In the tour we were promised breakfast and lunch. No such service is provided. This guy has now asked viator to charge us $10 for the taxi we took to go to his headquaters(the grocery store) to locate him. Huaraz is a small town with lots of good local tour operators. There is always enough place in the hotels and the tours. My recommendation to anyone visiting the place is to “AVOID middleman like Edgar Zombrano” and talk straight to the tour companies. Theres always space available even just one day in advance. Middlemen like Mr Zombrano overcharge unknowing tourists just on the basis of their ability to speak English. 0 ratings for this guy.

    Hotel + reseller for tours
Edgar is very welcoming and kind, fully supportive giving info about different treks and hikes in the area, as well as organising different tours. The BnB is essential but ok, there is a common kitchen guests can use in case of need. everything was really fine for us, including mate de coca welcome tea. Few things to be noticed: Edgar is not very talkative and full of details via email (maybe using WhatsApp it would have been better?); He is not a tour agency himself but just a reseller, we did Santa Cruz 4days trek with Ganesa booking via PeruBergSport, everything went fine but the tour would have been cheaper if reserved directly with Ganesa. Positive aspect, he allowed us to have a shower and use a room to change our clothes after the trek, even if we were not staying there for the night. Note there is a lot of confusion between Peru Bergsport, First Class Huaraz and Santa Cruz Hostel. As far as we've understood all are managed by Edgar but Peru Bergsport is the old tour/excursion agency (now he doesn't make excursion anymore and so this doesn't exist anymore) and First Class Huaraz is just his bus travel agency (no mountain excursions). Nowadays, they never organise excursion but just act as a reseller for other tour agencies.

It was a great deal to hire First Class Huaraz. Edgar was very attentive with me and my boyfriend, gave us discounts for buying more then one tour with them and they were great. Always on time, picked us up at the hotel, new cars, well informed tour guides and It was a truly great experience. We highly recommend this agency for tours in Huaraz.

An extraordinary site, very different from other Inca sites (ie on a large plain and the large unique ushnu)
You can probably expect to see a handful of visitors at this site as it is still relatively remote. A long day trip from Huaraz is just manageable. It can also be accessed from Huanuco via La Union. It is set over a large area and some of the ruins are difficult to visualize. There is a plan before you enter which is worth referring to (or in Craig Morris's book on Huanuco Pampa, published by Thames and Hudson) . Give yourself two to three hours at least. There is a circular and well-maintained route which leads you past some circular and restored structures (not particularly Inca stylistically) then after reaching a large parallel lineal structure, punctured by the path you are a short distance from the gently decaying ushnu platform structure. Although there are many Inca features, the stone used seems pretty friable (limestone and maybe sandstones, etc) and not the more permanent volcanic stones often used in other Inca sites. There are interesting carved features (various animals) around the key entrance points. Observe the hollowed stones midway along the top on all four walls. following this you are led through a series of double-jambed and maybe even a triple-jambed doorway past a major kallanka or hall and a series of smaller structures until you reach an area where you can see the a bathing area. This final sector is more in line with what you find at other Inca sites.

HUARAZ LIMA Bus Tickets, Hotel Pick-Up & Drop-Off
this was my first time to take the services of this travel company, I am in tour travelling around my country, so the Minibus picked us at our Hostal in Huaraz and they droped me off at my hostel at Miraflores Lima, also lots of turists travelled to Lima Airport for their flights conection and I saw they were so happy, I think this service avoids bad reputation taxis and save so much taxi costs while in Lima. save taxi and save time, very comfortable for your schedules, only a little bit uncomfortable is that they use minibus of 29 sits. but to compensate they use to stop at a safe restaurant in half way for body strectch. I highly recomend for somebody who want to save money and time, and who wants service door to door, I thanks a lot to all crew member of this company specially his waiter onboard very helpful

Lima-Huaraz bus tickets, hotel pick up and drop off
This is amazing travel to Huaraz from Lima, I purchased Bus Tickets from Lima to Huaraz and this company, the Bus came to our hotel to pick us up in Miraflores Lima then they run to International Airport Lima to pick-up rest of their passengers and head to Huaraz, at half way they stop in a pleasant restaurant for coffee and relax stretch body, so very confortable trip to Huaraz, we are so happy as I saved money for Taxi from my hotel to bus station, and much more safety with dangerous taxis. Once in Huaraz they drop you off at your hotel also.. this services is from home to home.

    Well organised and attentive guide
Edgar booked our bus tickets to and from Huaraz without problem and even collected us from the bus station on arrival. We took three one day tours which were all very enjoyable and Edgar ensured we were safe and well informed at all times. We are very happy to recommend First Class Huaraz.

¡HERMOSO DONDE LO MIRES!
Maravilloso.
