Your day starts with an early morning pickup from your accommodations and a scenic drive from Marrakech and over the 2,260m Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, where you can take pictures of the traditional Berber villages with their colorfully dressed inhabitants. Not far from the desert capital of Ouarzazate lies the fantastic Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, the fortified clay city with its numerous ksars and kasbahs, where several famous movies such as Gladiator, Prince of Persia and Kingdom of Heaven have been shot. This famous village is also listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After your lunch break at a traditional restaurant in Aït Ben Haddou (at own expense), follow a mountain road through colorful landscapes to reach Telouet. This kasbah of Pasha Glaoui is slowly crumbling into the red sand, but still has very impressive rooms from which you can image what the kasbah was like 70 years ago.
Return to Marrakech by car in the afternoon and be dropped off at your accommodations.
